Quicken Version 5.... 1995

Hello, so a friend of mine who runs a business currently uses 2 PCs. A modern windows 10 for everything she does and a HP Vectra vl series 4 5/133 with windows 95. She uses it for Quicken version 5 (address book release 5.0f) but only for the address book. She thinks she has about 1500 contacts in there. I contacted quicken and they said they don't have a system to convert files pre windows 98 as its not stable. I was able to use the backup function for the address book and put the file on a floppy disk. We now also have a USB floppy drive because Quicken originally told me they could convert it to work with a newer version, but now they are saying no. I can see the files in windows explorer on the windows 10 PC. The file ext. are DIR, QBD, QEL, QSD, QMD, and ABD.... does anyone have any suggestions other than physically retyping them into a new program. That is the last thing we want to do. Thank you!

First, make sure you have a good backup of the old quicken5 file.

Then, download the quicken 98 version from here> http://www.oldversion.com/windows/quicken-98

 Please  follow the instruction under the <Converting a data file from Quicken 98 - 2003> category.>  from here> https://www.quicken.com/support/how-and-when-use-intermediate-version-convert-older-versions-quicken

Good luck.
