Bose qc35 ii notification sounds

So I decided to update the firmware on my qc35 ii's. Now it's making an annoying notification sound. And just recently it's been doing a bunch of notification sounds, in quick succession, for one notification.

 

Anyone have any fixes for this? Because these are expensive and you'd think you'd get your money's worth
