First off a few notes.

1. I do not game at all. I work in IT and primarily deal with enterprise servers. I have no clue how to judge a system as far as how many FPS it can get and what resolutions or detail levels it can handle.

2. This system was used purely for virtualization and ran Windows Server 2008 R2.

3. I had an EVGA GTX 960 installed in the system for Hyper-V RemoteFx so that I could get the Windows 7 aero working in VMs.

4. This is not a pre-built system. All components were purchased Open-Box / Refurbished / New from Micro Center.

5. I made upgrades to the system as the time went on in order to keep it running. (I specify what was in the system and reasoning behind the upgrade here)

6. Dates are not exact just because it has been awhile and I am unsure of exactly when the components were purchased.

7. Planning on an upgrade in the future as newer Microsoft enterprise products are very memory demanding Windows Server 2016/2019, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL, etc

I would like to sell the system on either Craigslist, LetGo, or eBay. My question is what do you think would be the best option. Should I market it as a gaming system? If so what would it be able to do regarding resolution and detail level. Or should I sell the system as a workstation with out the GPU and then sell the GPU separately. Or finally should I just part the system out. See below for system specifications.

System Specifications:

Case: Fractal Design Meshify C (Originally had an HP pre-built case that had been heavily modified however I decided early to mid 2018 that the pre-built case had to go and transplanted the system into this case)

Cooler: Corsair H60 Hydro Series (Originally AMD stock cooler because the system was operating 24/7 usually with a medium to high load figured it would help with thermals and helping the CPU last. Upgraded when I changed cases)

Power Supply: Corsair CX650M Semi Modular (Originally a Dell pre-built PSU that started causing the system to randomly hard shut down. After upgrading to the Corsair issue was resolved and never re occurred. Purchased ~8 months ago)

Motherboard: M5A88-V EVO

CPU: AMD FX 6100 6 Core

RAM: Mix and match 4x 4GB DDR3 DIMMs

Storage: 1x 120GB Inland Professional SSD for boot drive | 2x 2TB WD Red NAS Drives For Data *Not in RAID unsure if the board supports RAID* I will run DBAN against the drives before reselling the system and possibly loading a new OS.

GPU: EVGA GTX 960 2 GB

Network: Built In GBE plus Intel Quad Port PT GBE. Planning on removing the Intel Quad Port unless it is going to increase the value of the system.

Operating System: Currently running Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise still :( which is licensed through a key acquired from my MSDN subscription provided by work. Since the system is only dev / test this was the best licensing option at the time since a retail WS 08 R2 license is really expensive. I am not willing to include the MSDN license with the system. As far as I know that would be illegal. I was thinking I would buy a Win 10 Home or Pro OEM license for reselling.

Final Notes: Hopefully this is in the right place on the forums. If not please let me know where / how to move it. If needed I can provide system screenshots and / or pictures of the system itself. The system is very clean as I usually dust it every 3-6 months. Cleaned it last week when I got the idea of re selling it and made the decision it was time for an upgrade overall.
