First Gaming/Editing build

This is my first PC designed for some decent gaming and productivity, I'd like some thoughts or improvements on it if possible.

Especially with the motherboard, I cannot decide on a decent one for the Z390 chipset but the one I have now has to go. Also I know I have to buy an Operating System like Win10 I didn't forgetimage.png.91fa5b68ed332938ed910bd29d5449da.png

Go with one of the Z390 Aorus boards, they're all rock-solid choices. Everything else looks good.

"uhhhhhhhhhh yeah id go with the 2600 its a good value for the money"

The Z390 Aorus Pro has a very good VRM, but there are other Aorus models above this one if you want to spend more. Your build looks very nice. Are you in the USA?

Correct! At least in theory anyway, I need to do a bit more research on NVMe SSDs as well

And this looks nice, I'll take advantage of the sale while I can

Well, for boot up and game loading it's only a few to several seconds quicker, but if you are editing video it's probably worth it to get the NVMe drive. This is a well reviewed one (professionally reviewed), but I did hear some complaints about HP drives, so I would check the reviews on Newegg and Amazon before buying:

I'm not an expert on the video cards, but I think the MSI Gaming X with those Frozr fans is quieter than the Ventus (when the fans are spinning), actually one of the quietest cards around, I think. Well, looking at the reviews they say the Ventus is quiet. Whoops! I was looking at the reviews for the OC Ventus, not the standard edition. I think the standard Ventus had 2 quiets versus one loud at Newegg. Be careful with the reviews at Amazon as they mixed them all together for the different models. Hummmm. I guess there is not a two fan Gaming X model of the MSI RTX 2080. Prices of the MSI cards cover a large span!

I do like the Aorus Pro better than the Asrock. If he is going to be using Adobe products, he needs to stick with a Nvidia card for Cuda acceleration and better compatibility.
