Touchscreen issues on Hp Notebook

I have a hp Notebook 15.6' and I have been experiencing a lot of issues when trying to use the touchscreen. It works one day perfectly and then the next day it doesn't. I have updated the drivers, disabled then enabled the touch screen, Uninstalled then reinstalled the drivers, calibrated the screen more times than I can remember and yet it still doesn't work properly. There is no physical damage to the screen, nor has it been damaged by water. I can tap the screen anywhere and it works that way, but dragging or pressing on the screen is just not an option. I have attached a pic of me trying to draw straight lines on one Note.  Thanks

HP has a diagnostics key that has a test for the touchscreen.

You can download the software here (at the bottom "Download 4-IN-1 usb key) and it will create the diagnostics key.

Once the usb key is created, plug it in, and at startup smash the "F2" key. It will launch the diagnostics tools.

This will let you know if it's a windows/driver issue or a physical issue.

I just tried this and It passed all the hardware tests, I was able to drag and drop things in the tests, yet the problem is not solved when the laptop boots to windows.
