Hi i got a z77 motherboard and i was wondering if the new gen lg1151 processors compatible with my motherboard or will i have to do a complete upgrade? I  currently have an i5 3450 and a gtx 670 so anything i get will be and upgrade to the motherboard also will the z77 be okay with a new gpu like a 2060? Sorry im still learning

LGA 1156 can only do 1156 CPUs, not 1151. You can use PCPartPicker.com to check compatibility.

Also, a 2060 would work fine because it uses PCIe.

I totally didnt realize it was 1156 thanks for saving me a heartache oh the torment i would feel if i would've purchased an 1151 ?
