Should i upgrade my Asus Direct CU2 raedon 6970? planning to switch to 780 or 780ti if I do.

Well it depends what games you will be playing or what you budget is and what your current system is besides that like what is your cpu because it may bottleneck but it really depends if you have the money for it, and really want it, i would say do it only if you had the money and you thought it would be worth it

if you want to keep the color scheme Black and yellow go for the MSI 780 Lightning, but if you really want the most power get a 780ti but also don't forget about AMD cards because they do have more performance but (in my opinion) not as good features and their features aren't even ready yet but Nvidia's are so take a look at the R9 290 or 290x if your interested in them

Didnt AMD release the 290x to beat the 780 adn Nvidia had the 780Ti unrleaesed and that beat the 290x?

well the thing is I don't think there would be a big difference in performance but in this day and age it's mainly personal preference like if you were talking to someone else they would probably say R9 290 or 290x but I think that Nvidia's features are better so it is up to you also AMD cards are rising in prices so... another great reason to go with Nvidia but if you are mainly going  to play BF4 then go with AMD but if you are going to play games like batman and assassin's creed go with Nvidia
