FIXED

HI guys. I wasn't sure where to put this so I posted it here because it seemed the most relevant.

Like the title says, I'm having some trouble with my video output. It's kinda hard to describe so I added some videos showing it. It's at it's worst when I open up program such as Chrome and when video plays. It starts as soon as I log in to my PC and it stops when I launch any fullscreen game.

Since it started I've reinstalled my drivers about 5 or 6 times and tried about 3 or 4 different versions. Also, I'm running a triple monitor setup and my GPU temps only get up to about 65 when gaming.

Relevant Specs:

i7 2600k @ 4.6 GHz

7970 @ 1125 / 1550

G.Skill Sniper 1600MHz C9 2 x 4 Gb

Silverstone Strider Plus 850W

Asrock z68 Extreme4 Gen3

Thanks

Damn son, that doesn't look healthy. Step one in any troubleshoot is to determine what is the cause of the issue. Swap out your monitor(s) and whatever cable(s) you use to connect them, or interchange them in the multi monitor setup, and determine that it definitely is the graphics card causing the issue. I personally have issues with the implementation of OpenCL in the 13.1 revision of CCC, and I wouldn't be surprised if something else is broken in this version, so I rolled back to 12.1. The older versions of CCC can be found on Sapphire's website - http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=1157&pid=1679&psn=&lid=1&leg=0# - If none of these help you solve or determine your issue it may be a hardware issue. If overclocked, return your GPU back to stock clock speeds. I am personally running a 2600k at 4.8GHz, so I know you've got yours clocked well within a logical range, however while troubleshooting, return the CPU back to stock speeds too. If you have the option, swap out the graphics card too. If the issue persists it could be an issue with your motherboard, such as a damaged PCI-E lane, power delivery, socket interference, etc. Keep isolating variables like these until you determine which software or hardware issue is causing the problem, then you can look into what can fix it.

Wow. That sucks. Turns out it was my graphics card overclock. I reset my clock speeds in MSI Afterburner which fixed it. Any overclock, even 1 MHz on the core causes problems. Kinda defeats the purpose of having it watercooled :(

Yeah thats a shame man, however 1GHz is pretty fast for a graphics core anyway.
