Go to solution Solved by Guest,

try it in another computer

Have had my system running for coming up on 3 years now (fx4300 at +0.05v 4.5ghz and gtx960 at 106%power limit and +100 core +150 memory) and it has run perfectly since I built it. However, today when I went to power on the machine I got no output to my display, after checking cables I noticed I had no GPU fan spin so I reseated and recabled my GPU and tried again to no avail, I've tried my other 16x slot with the same result. The only change that I've made is updating my GPU driver to the latest model which I did automatically through geforce experience. Any ideas on what it could be or how I could solve it

Plug your monitor into your motherboard to get a display output and then use DDU (display driver uninstaller) and completely remove any drivers you have, connect your monitor to your gpu again, and reinstall the latest stable driver you had and see if it works

most of the time it isn't a problem updating drivers but sometimes it messes things up. If you have the second latest driver, upgrading to the latest it isn't really necessary, i keep a pretty up to date driver and then just install the latest one when a new game comes out, since it doesn't really do anything to my old games (95% of the time at least)
