System Restore not working properly on Winblows 10 help!

Ok system restore works but when you go choose a date to restore your registry it just sits there saying recovering registry or something like that which is the normal screen you see when you run system restore,, but when I go restore it like I said it just hangs on the screen and hour glass thingie saying recovering registry or whatever it says,,,, and does nothing.  I tried in Safe Mode as well and doesn't work,, gets stuck on the screen that says restoring registry and what not.

 

What is up with this,, I neeed to do a system restore right now,, faaaaaaaaaaaak
