PC for rendering 1080p

SO im planning to build cheap workstation and low gaming pc.

my plan its to used Ryzen 2200g APU for gaming. and add 16GB 3000mhz ram to boost rendering

 

but...

 

i have laptop currently running with i5 , mx150 25 watt and 8 gigs of ram

its the pc build stronger than my laptop? or should i just spent 100$ to add 8gb more to laptop
