To make things short: Is there a way to get some cheap, silent client with FULL windows 10 experience to my living room TV that can use my beefy computer on home network? And when I am on my beefy PC I do not want to even notice?

To make things long: For years I usually have laptom next ot my TV to browse web and common stuff. Later I got STEAM link which is great, but just for gaming. Recently I got Xbox one in hope to replace the TV laptop, but it SUCKS in every way possible. Games are really bad and expansive and there is no way to even decently browse web. I just want a cheap machine (50-150€) where you can use webbrowser, win10 desktop, stream steam games, netflix, etc. like on normal PC that will use resources of my i9, 64ram. Point is that my wife would e.g. browse web on client on TV and in the same time I want to edit 4K video on Host PC.

Yes, I got decent gigabit wired network.

Am I TOTALLY DUMB in search for this solution or the is a BIG hole on the market? If you solve this, you should definitelly make video of it!

Thanks

Intel NUC's are pretty cheap (150€ although barebones, you need to buy RAM and a disk) and really quiet. Although you might be better off buying a used PC, replacing the cooler with a huge passive cooler and hide it somewhere
