gaming build plan

the plan for my computer is that i will buy a cpu, motherboard and ram this year because of the plateau in performance increases in that area in recent years,

motherboard: MSI MPG 7b17-012R z390

cpu: core i7-9700k

ram: ddr4 2x8GB 3200mhz

 

then next year i will either buy an ssd or a graphics card depending on how fast the technology of each is developing 

i mainly use my computer for gaming

 

what do you think?

a gpu is far more important than a cpu(for gaming) do you already have a gpu or are you starting from scratch?

 

also whats your budget?

Unless he is going for more CPU intensive games and runs off of the iGPU. But I would still rather get an i5 9600k and save some of that money to buy a GPU instead.

i have a gtx 660 but im fine with waiting till next year for a new one but my cpu is an amd athlon II x4 645 and i thought i would upgrade that first

 

also my budget is around £700
