PC stuck on boot up screen

I recently built my own pc, and everything runs just about perfectly. The only problem is after I shut down the system overnight or for a decent duration of time, when i turn the computer back on, it is stuck at the boot up screen which has the asus logo and says press delete to enter bios. Pushing delete here does nothing. However if i just turn it off then back on again it works fine. does anybody know any fixes?
