Hi all, Thanks for taking a look at this and trying to help me. I am looking for an intell 11500t cpu or a cpu mobo combo with that that piece of silicon in it. I decided to upgrade my htpc and this looks amazing due to the high core count, low tdp, integrated uhd graphics and the price for it all. Any advice where i can snag one of those CPUs here in Canada? I have checked newegg, amazon and memoryexpress up here, but can't find anything - all they have is the non T version, which is not what i want... Or if there is a US retailer that can ship to Canada, i dont mind paying a few bucks for shipping and import charges. Thank you in advance. Dilyan.

Does anyone know how the LTT crew made the Hex wall in their new B-roll set? If possible, does anyone know where to obtain those hexagons, or ones similar to them? I see them quite often on varous "Setup" pages on Insagram, wall mounted above desks. This is exactly what I want to do, so I obviously need some smaller ones than what LTT use, but hopefully this would be a good place to start! I live in the UK, so UK shipping websites only please!! Also, price is an issue, since I am only a student, so the cheaper the better!! Thankyou!!!

Hey guys, currently I have a system with an MSI Gaming M5 motherboard, i7 6700K OC w/ A Corsiar H80i, 16GB of RAM and an MSI GTX 980 Ti GPU. Recently I bought a Samsung 4k monitor and am loving it, although I have definitely noticed that my system is getting stretched a lot more on games than it used to at 1080p. I was thinking about doing a custom watercooling loop, because, you know, it looks so awesome; but I have decided against since I got the new monitor. I live in South Africa, and we have a lot of gaming pc stores here, however most of them don't sell the 980 Ti anymore, and the ones that do are charging 15% more than the price in the US when it first came out! So, I am flying over to the US for Christmas, and am wondering what are some good places to buy or order an MSI 980 Ti apart from Amazon? I would prefer to buy brand new, but I don mind getting 2nd hand from a reputable reseller if there's no other option. What stores do you guys use to shop for your parts? Thanks in advance for any advice, A Fellow Gamer and PC Enthusiast

Sup folks, I am looking to build myself a new PC, as my old GTX560 powered box is a little outdated. To make the PC look good I want to avoid the filthy ketchup and mustard cables that come with most PSUs. I was looking around and found it nearly impossible to find anything within Europe, all I got was websites from the US of A or Canada. Also I found on a forum someone that said one should be careful picking their cables, as -supposedly- the wrong PSU and cable combination could be catastrophic, and I quote, "could cause a lot of damage to the system". So, I'm looking for general advice, is what this man said true, could getting the wrong cables cause issues? And does anyone know where to get (white) PSU extensions or cables in Europe? The PSU and Motherboard in question: Cooler Master G550M Gigabyte GA-170N-WIFI (ITX) GPU (if necessary): Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 (Founders) Thanks in advance! Regards, TJ EDIT: I noticed custom cables are expensive, I might just go for the Corsair Rmx 550W, that has some tasty black cables at least

Hey I'm thinking about building a hackintosh. There's just one problem I don't know where to buy a copy of Mac OS. If anyone knows where to buy it please leave a link. I saw a couple of discs for Mac osx 10.6 on Amazon but I don't know if you can upgrade from that. Any help?

I have been looking at CPU options, and have just come to know of someone who is coming down to my country from the US in the next few weeks, and is willing to bring along 1 CPU. So I just have to order and ship it to him, but I am a bit lost in the options of which website to use, and even which type of CPU to get. My conundrum is explained below. I'd appreciate any help / advice on where to buy and which one to buy? A key consideration for me is that as I am not living in the US, I cannot easily ship a non-working part back, and so a better probability of reliability is helpful (so I wonder if I should go for a new one, or a tested refurbished one). That Which Perplexes ME I am looking to buy either an Intel Xeon E5-2670 or E5-2660 (v1 or v2). - For the most, a 2660 v1 should do what I need on a home server, but geekiness and possible future potential of a more powerful CPU (Yay! 2670) with more cores (Yay! v2) gets in the way of simple decision making.- I am mostly looking at amazon.com and ebay.com (newegg does not have anything cheaper than these). - My current preferred options are higlighted in bold below. I can get a new 2670 for about $139 (ebay) or $160 (amazon). I can get used/refurbished ones for about $120. I can get a new 2660 for about $100 (amazon). I can get used/refurbished ones for about $75/88. I can get used versions of 2670 v2 for $165 or a used 2660 v2 for $123 / $115 (all on ebay) At the moment I am largely leaning to getting a 2660 v1 off Amazon as $100 is rather cheap for a new one. Though the 2660 v2 on ebay ($123/$115) or a new 2670 v1 ($139) are also very enticing,Would you recommend one of these CPUs over the other (incl. v1 vs v2 or new vs. used vs. refurbished)?Do you have any advice or recommendations buying from these sites?

Hi guys&girls, Trying to source through google fu with very little success a phase change single stage(or an autocascade but i think that would be an unrealistic expectation) cooling solution for my new pc. Found tons of dead ends but no joy. dead or no longer do solutions to my understanding: dimastech ocz ld cooling frozen cpu coolerexpress originpc My google fu has failed me; hopefully an expert might be able to point me in the right direction Any suggestions would be awesome :-) PS. Planning on doing a build with threadripper. Going to be interesting if i can get the gear for it.

Hi guys, I'm looking to set up a custom water cooling system, but I cant seem to find any reasonable priced parts anywhere without paying 50+$ shipping for a 100$ waterblock, which makes absolutely no sense, then I'm also struggling to find glass tubes for the tubing, and there are none, like not even extremely expensive options (no amazon they have none) anywhere in town. I live in the metro vancouver area. Any vancouver stores or online stores that dont break my wallet with shipping would be appreciated! Thanks in advance guys

Ive purchased a new case (inwin 8.0.S.S Cube) which has like 8 5.25" bays that can be used to fit fan controllers and bay reservoirs and the like, but the problem is that it doesnt have any of the trays/mounting supports that you would typically slide a fan controller/whater into which would screw/clip into the sides to hold it in place. All it seems to have are 4 small screws holding each of the 5.25 mesh bay filters in place. Does anyone know of anywhere i can buy some 5.25 bay support brackets/trays that i could mount into this case. They would look like these 5.25 bay trays like in the Thermaltake V21. 2502163-xl-c.webp

So I am currently on the hunt for sleeved Cables. On the one hand for sleeved Sata data cables in black turquoise or light gray. I am leaning to black at this point because it would go with most builds in the future quite easily and colour matching with other distributers would be much easier. I found several deals online but where I live it seems that Bitfenix just offers 30 cm cables and Silverstone offers just up to 50 cm. There are some brands that have 100 cm cables but they are not sleeved. Ideally i would liketo have somewhat in between 50 and 100 cm which are sleeved in black Paracord with straight connectors(non angled). 50 cm are just too short for making a clean run in my case. Right now i have a mess of 4 different types of data cables which are crossing all over each other because: firstly I don't have any other cables and I scavenged what I could find from (at this point) 3 or 4 different motherboards secondly they are for the most part just a bit too short for running them cleanly. On the other hand I am looking for sleeved extensions that can be customly configured in the colours black turquoise and light or dark gray. There I would need every "normal" cable (24 pin, 8 pin cpu, 6 pin pcie, 8 pin pcie, sata power) even if I don't need them now I will need them in the future because the way we wire computers will not change that much in the next few years. I would like to go with extensions so i could use them with every PSU although I don't plan on switching my PSU in the near future, since I just recently acquired a BeQuiet Dark Power Pro (80plus Platinum) and full cable sets and/or connectors for those are really hard to come by. So sleeving myself is not the best option, because I highly doubt that i could do it cleanly enough to be so confident that I cut up a 160 euro PSU. There I discovered this site only they seem to even have turquoise Paracord. Does anyone have experience with the linked site? Are they reliable? Are those cables any good? Does anyone know where I could get cables in those colours or SATA data cables above 50 cm which are sleeved? Thanks for every reply!

in an earlier post i have mentioned investing in a new pair of headphones. since i am looking forward to a mod mic and have decided i needed a good replacement for my current 12 dollar gaming mouse more then a replacement for some headphones that work fine. i have made those my priority and put the headphones aside to invest in some other time. i currently have a pair of ath m20x headphones and i like them. a little cheap in terms of build quality but my biggest gripe i have is the pleather ear pads. they irritate and suffocate my ears making it unbearable to use these things for more then 1 or 2 hours at a time. not to mention most of the ear pads i could find on amazon where either for the m40x and m50x or just pleather replacements and cost almost as much as the headphones them selves! is there some kind of generic soft ear pad replacement option? maybe some kind of DIY alternative? will my ears have to suffer until I'm able to invest in a new set of headphones? why do pleather ear pads exist? any help is appreciated :-) thanks in advance

I had seen on the EK website pink hard tube fittings for hard acrylic/metal tubing but I can't seem to find any colored compression fittings for non-rigid tubing. I'm searching around as best I can but I can't seem time find any retailers that sell pink compression fittings. Any tips on where to look?

Hey guys, Completely new here, however, i've been watching Linus and his tech techs for years and recently i've been looking for a way to dampen the vibration of case fans in my case. Now, if it helps, i'm using an NZXT M59 Mid-Tower case right now, soon to upgrade to a Corsair C70 Mid-Tower in a few weeks. I own 4 Corsair AF-120mm Performance fans at the moment and the rubberized corners where the screws go in are a nice touch, however, the NZXT case still has some vibrations. What i'm ultimately looking for is a place to buy rubber grommets that replace the case fan screws and just snap into place. Kind of like the image in the link below. *Picture from ebay as an example: http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Set-of-4-Rubber-Noiseless-Fan-Mount-Rivets-Screws-FREE-S-H-/00/s/NTAwWDUwMA==/$%28KGrHqNHJFQFDKnI!OF7BQ0%291tN%29-w~~60_12.GIF I've done some searches on NCIX and Newegg as well as a few other known sites and i can't seem to find or name these parts correctly. I know they come with certain fans, but i'd rather not go with those brands and stick to what i enjoy as a case fan (in this particular case, Corsair's AF performance and quiet edition fans). Thanks again in advance for all the help! - Nofatchx

Hi everyone. I'm from Malaysia and will be going to Hollywood this upcoming February. I'd like to purchase some computer parts when I'm in the States later on. But the problem is, I'm not quite clear on where and how to buy computer parts in California. I've been Googling around and found out that there are several store that sells computer parts like the BestBuy, Newegg, DigitalStorm & Fry's Electronic. Most of the sites only have the option to purchase it online. My question is, do they provide a walk-in service so that I can purchase it at the store rather than having it delivered to me? Because I don't have a permanent address in CA. I hope you guys can guide me on how & where to shop in CA. Thanks.
