Hello everyone , i face lately a problem with my pc which has the following specs : asrock z77 pro 3 Ram 10 gb ddr 3 (8gb 1600 MHZ crucial 2gb 1060 mhz micron) I7 2600 gtx 970 4gb the problem starts while i'm playing videos games pc suddenly shut down and when i wanted to restart it the cpu fan turn on around 5 secondes then off i thought the problem was my cooler because it didn't mount correclty (the cooler has screws but motherboard doesn't have the holes which supports this type of screws) so t looked for a new cooler i bought an intel stock , i mount it correctly but the problem still happend a lot if videos talk about ram is the main cause of this this problem, i clean it and the slots too but still the problem i don't know what will i do?

I think the issue might be the CPU or the AIO water cooler because the head pump RGB is not lighting up. The issue could also be the PSU. I don't really know how to trouble shoot my PC in this condition. What do you think I should be doing right now? I have a Rx7600, Ryzen 5 5600x, 32Go ram, SSD The game just crash when i tried to loading the assets, i all ready reinstall the game 2 time to be sure it's not the problem. All is update, my gpu, cpu, i even tried differents driver and i see no people complanig about it ? Is there some one who no, or have the same issue ? and get ride of it ? (Sorry for the bad english it’s not my first language) I recently upgraded my system massively to this: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Yodaking8549/saved/#view=WghTmG and I reinstalled Windows (10). I got a Bluescreen saying MEMORY_MANAGEMENT during the install. The PC started again and went on to finish installing windows. After that I had no issues for about a week. Then (only sometimes not all the time) the PC bluescreened with the same error code (After a restart everything worked fine tho). Another week passes and I get the bluescreen while starting. Then windows automatic repair pops up and says windows couldn’t repair your PC. I went through all the troubleshooting options but nothing worked. So I decided to reinstall once again, this time windows 11. The same issues occur in the same time frame. After I got to windows automatic repair once again I ran command line and tried sfc /scannow and was met with „windows found corrupt files but could not fix them“. I thought it may be the new 980 pro that is broken so I reinstalled once again and ran the extended test in Samsung magician. No bad cells. I’m so confused in what my problem could be and how to fix it. If anyone has any ideas PLEASE let me know. Thanks in advance

Hello this is my first post here I've installed a new GPU in my system My specs are i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz 8GB DDR4 Ram (single stick) MOBO : Asus H110M-K PSU : Thermaltake TR2 S 450W Kingston Sata SSD two WD HDDs I had previously a GTX 750 TI which didn't require a power cable I recently swapped it with a Asus GTX 970 Strix OC that uses a 6+2 power cable the GPU is tested on another PC that ran it fine on Furmark when I installed the GPU in my PC , I uninstalled the older Drivers with DDU in safe mode , installed the latest Nvidia drivers from the official website , it ran smoothly , I stress tested it multiple times with OCCT tool : GPU stress test , VRAM stress test , Power stress test , to insure stability of my PSU , thankfully I never had a single issue even after running it for 15 mins , played Overwatch 2 , RDR2 and it ran smoothly even at max load as in RDR2 , then issues started to show up on relatively low demanding games like Genshin Impact , CSGO , Fortnite (very low settings) the PC crashes and the monitor loses signal , the computer seems to be running fine , mouse and keyboard still powered up , audio working for moments then disconnects , but no screen output , I tried to connect to it using Windows RDP on mobile like I usually do , it said "The graphics display components in the remote session failed to start up. Error code: 0x12" I can shut the pc off with a single press on power button and it responds normally , then I turn it on and it boots normally , checking the event viewer it was flooded with nvlddmkm , tried to install drivers again many times ,rolled back to older drivers , no use , I tried to crash it with OCCT , and demanding games like OW2 (ultra settings ) , RDR2 (which maxes the load on my entire system ) for hours and the pc didn't crash even once , using the computer to browse the web for hours a day , no crashes either I tried installing a fresh Windows , went for Windows 11 , the nvlddmkm error disappeared for good , but some other errors appeared dwm.exe started appearing in the event viewer , same symptoms , black screen , running pc on low-mid demanding tasks , OCCT still fails to crash the machine , RDR2 and OW2 too, still randomly crashes on Genshin impact , CSGO I tried reseating the GPU, double checked the cables , ran Furmark on 1080 preset didn't crash my pc , but running Furmark on my monitor native res(1366 *768) and 8x anti aliasing immediately crashes the GPU/ Driver Im using a DVI to VGA adapter btw , tried connecting it to a HDMI monitor , didn't help checked the Ram and the windows system files , all good I tried many Nvidia drivers , even very old ones (2020) MOBO bios is updated ,all drivers are installed , no pending Windows updates , no special software installed besides MSI afterburner which im only using to show FPS and components usage and Temps in-game. I used Whocrashed to analyze dumps , only two types of errors appeared repeatedly : nvoglv32.dll (nvoglv32!vk_optimusGetInstanceProcAddr+0xC066B) for Furmark (prob related to OpenGL) and ntdll.dll (ntdll+0x9F8A4) for other games that crash randomly at this point I literally out of options , the GPU seems working pretty fine under heavy load and mid load (OCCT , RDR2 , OW2 ) and crashing randomly on different other games what can I do ?

I'm trying to help a friend of mine get their games running. It started when they tried to run Dark and Darker and got an error that read "The following component(s) are required to run this program. DirectX Runtime". After making sure everything was up to date (graphics drivers, Windows updates, etc.) with no luck, I tried reinstalling Windows. It wasn't a clean reinstall, I chose the option to keep their files. Not only did that not fix the issue but now they can't play any games at all. Is there anything I can do to fix this situation or should I just do a clean reinstall of Windows and see if that will work? I've seen a few other threads that have had the same issue but haven't seen any promising results. If anyone has a solution I would greatly appreciate the help!

I have a 780 strix that doesn't work. With everything plugged in the card's fans spin up to 100% and there's no output. Using the igpu of an i7 6700 I see that the pc works although with the gpu installed the pc experiences weird behavior such as but not limited to windows crashing. When windows did manage to boot for once the gpu wasn't properly detected by windows but it knew that a device was present. Swapping the gpu for a 1060 6gb or omitting the dgpu entirely the pc works fine. I also noticed a dent in the gpu shield near the pcie connector and a small scratch on the pcie lanes themselves. I opened the gpu to look for anything obvious but didn't find anything. any help is appreciated

PC specs: Ryzen 7 7800x3D Gigabyte x670 aorus elite ax. Bios: f10a Ram 64gb 2x32gb ddr5 corsair vengeance 5200mhz c40. Expo optimized 2tb ssd crucial p3 plus cooler: peerles assassin 120 4070 gigabyte windforce OC psu: corsair HX1000I A few I just mounted by myself this new pc for 3D intense work and some gaming. When I finished mounting I noticed that my cpu was not boosting all the way up to 5ghz and not even using so much energy. I got stuck at 4,8ghz at 0.9V 70W of ppt thermal throttling at 85 degrees celsius. That was strange so i thought that may be that i mounted wrong the cooler. So i remounted, repasted and everything still was the same. I am so concerned about this that i dont know what I have to do anymore. I spent 2 more days tweaking the BIOS, tweaking PBO and limitating the VSOC to 1.2v instead of 1.1v that it came from default but nothing changed at all. Current settings right now are this. PBO all core -20 PBO limits manual PPT 140 TDC 135 EDC 170 VSOC 1.2v Cinebench r23 17060 points all core during 10 minutes thermal throttling at 85 degress celsius

Recently I have been getting an awful amount of BSODs on my computer. They ONLY happen when I load specific games. Titles like Doom Eternal and Road 96 basically crash instantly, while titles like Titanfall 2 and CSGO never crashed once. Temps were also fine all the time. My graphics drivers are fully updated and so is my BIOS. I also set my XMP settings to default. I also uninstalled all of my display drivers and reinstalled them, but it didn't work. My final attempt was to uninstall Valorant to make sure that the anti-cheat wasn't causing a problem. NONE of these worked at the slightest. My guess now is that it could be a hardware issue, but I still haven't gotten any visual artifacts. I have a 6750xt, 32 gb of ram, a 650W PSU and a 5600. Most of these parts were bought in the last few months brand new. I would really love some input, because these types of issues on a brand new build quite literally convinced me that this will be the last gaming PC I ever buy. I'm only asking for a fix or some help cause I think its what could be causing my PC to crash sometimes other than that my PC is a beast but every time I boot its scans and repairs the drive but even after doing all the repair drive reboots and scans it still shows I have a $i30 file issue no other file issues just that it's really weird

Hi! Recently, I've built a new PC. When I first built I used a GTX 1070 while getting my hands on an RTX 3080. Since I managed to buy an ASUS TUF RTX 3080 10G I've been having troubles with my PC. When I installed it I noticed stuttering even when dragging a window through desktop. When I started gaming, my computer would randomly freeze. When it happens, I canr use ctrl + alt + del working and I don't get any black/blue screen. First I thought it was because of the game (CP2077), it happened some times, but when I finished it and wanted to play some other games, the same freezes happened. Then I started noticing really bad stuttering in BF1 and other games without FPS drops. When I updated to the new Nvidia Drivers, some artifacts popped when using Zoom and my computer crashed. After that I began to worry and I ran Heaven benchmark and the textures were all corrupted (like blue stripes all over). I restarted my computer and it was fixed, but today things got worse. My computer would freeze after 10-20 minutes of gaming or even some minutes after closing a game. I've done this troubleshoot steps: Changing ports and cables Using DDU to clean install drivers Reinstall Windows Temps are ok and I haven't done any overclocking to it. I reinstalled my old GTX 1070 and it runs without any problem, no stuttering in desktop or in games and no freezing. Any advice? My PC specs: i7 10700 ASUS TUF RTX 3080 10G 16 GB G. Hi all, I am new to this forum and i have been having this issue for the past two weeks I happened to see a windows update two weeks back and decided to download it. It had a firmware update along with it. This laptop was running a bios version 315 and there is no official update for this laptop in asus support site or in myasus utility. I saw many forums and did my own research and somehow managed to downgrade my bios. I had some peace of mind for one week and windows again approaches me with the same set of updates. The wrong bios makes my games lag terribly and makes the audio choppy. After some more research i realized that windows wrongly gives me the bios of ASUS TUF FX505DD, which is another laptop in the same series. The bios version of this model is 316 and it causes a lot of trouble for me. I tried to pause updates but windows is, excuse my language, fucking useless as it gives me a warning that it will update after a week and there is nothing i can do to stop it. So I've had an issue where sound is unbalanced, and I cant go higher than 2-4 or it'll be too loud (picture below), especially in games (gun sounds are louder than footsteps). I've done all I can think to do, sfc scan, Windows update, amd drivers, and drivers from gigabyte does nothing to fix it. All ideas are welcomed Edit: I'm using headphones and I only have headphones

Hi, i am currently trying to move my desktop pc into a separate room like Linus did in one of his videos. Setup Motherboard: MSI Z390-A PRO (latest version 7B98v1D) Thunderbolt Card: Gigabyte GC-MAPLE RIDGE (rev. 1.0) Dock: Razer Thunderbolt™ 4 Dock Chroma Windows 10 Edu 64 Bit All the latest Thunderbolt driver to this date installed When I use the included cable from razer the dock works as expected. Displays and USB peripherals are all getting passed through the dock to the desktop pc. When I use the Corning cable only the displays are showing up and the razer dock isn’t lighting up (lights under the dock). So no USB peripherals or ethernet is being transmitted. I tried the dock on my notebook and with razer cable it works flawlessly. With the Corning cable I had some issues in the beginning but I got it work after some time. When I plugged in the cable one way it didn’t work so I switched the end and then I started lighting up and transmitting everything from display to usb peripherals. I ordered another dock from CalDigit to verify if it’s the docks fault or something else. Maybe it has something to do with some bios settings? hello, hopefully a simple issue, i haven't yet found a fix for the issue. i recently connected a second display (55' 1080p tv) for certain games that won't display correctly on 3440x1440(main monitor). now the issue is when i first tried to play fallout 4(all other games have the issue) on the tv, it would run at very low fps(30 or less), and the usage would be at 50% or less. i messed with a bunch of settings, and eventually thought i fixed the issue. now it will have the issue, but it will be random depending on which screen i am playing a game on, and all games have the issue, including halo infinite which was just installed.. if i disconnect one of the screens, no games have the issue, so it has something to do with both being connected. so far i have tried all in game settings, no avail, and tried messing with nvidia control panel, and power management, none seems to fix it, and i'm not really sure which might be causing the issue. i am running windows 11, not sure if that may be the problem, also registry is edited for taskbar on top(not sure if that could cause issues). thanks for any input/ideas. relevant specs: 3700x tuf x570 gaming plus zotac rtx 3070 twin edge oc trident z neo 2x8 3600 cl16 2x 1tb crucial p1 nvme(game drives) 1 is on a pci card 1x 500gb 970 evo plus(boot drive) 1tb hdd/ 2tb hdd(media storage) corsair rm750 aoc cu34g2x 3440x1440 vizio 55' 1080p Windows 11 pro edit: meant to post this in troubleshooting addition: forgot to mention, not sure if it is related, but i am also getting a strange random flicker towards the top of the screen, happens on either screen, or both screens. kinda like the top third of the screen flickers black for a split second.

Hi! So I managed to get my Junction T reach 114 C (while GPU T was only 64 C) on an ASUS TUF 5700XT Oh and that's just factory OC too, if anything I'd underclock the VRAM if I could. Hard to get a screen cap as it tends to be a bit unstable when it gets that hot. Got some nice variety of failures tho including some trippy VRAM artefacts. Needless to say, I am going to RMA it, but I got a Ryzen 3600 for CPU and no back up GPU. So should I get an 5600G or 5700G as a CPU Upgrade first, or get any GPU that I could just return later?

I need help cleaning up my appdata folders. They take up way to much space on poor 250gb ssd, I've used disk clean up and smart storage and have look over all of the files in the folders and have not found the files that are taking up so much space.

Ryzen 5 1400 Gigabyte GeForce 1060 3gb MSI B450m bazooka max wifi Thermaltake 80 plus smart 500W Adata XPG DDR4 2400mhz 16Gb My pc turns on but I get a black screen and the gpu fans only spin for like 2 seconds. Also on the motherboard the VGA light comes on which means the gpu isn’t being detected but the boot light also comes on sometimes after the vga light. All the case fans turn on and spin same as the gpu cooler and all the lights. My monitor automatically turns on when I turn the pc on but then it says no signal detected. I’ve already swapped the motherboard and the drive and neither of those things seemed to be the issue but idk what else it could be. I mean I’m sure it could be anything else at this point but I don’t have the funds available to check the other parts. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. I got the pc from my friend he said he bought it in 2018. I had it for like 2 months and everything was fine.

So, I've just built my new PC a few days ago, I tried logging in with my Microsoft account and it says "wrong password", I was pretty sure it was correct but fine I've changed it, everything worked. A few days later my PC says Microsoft account error, please login again, I tried and again "wrong password", I've changed the password thinking ok maybe I'm so dumb that I can't remember it and saved it wrong, so I've changed my password again, logged in on the site and on the pc, everything was fine and now....wrong password again. I've asked to chat with someone at Microsoft but of course, they left me there waiting for hours. Does anyone know anything about this problem? Any proven solutions? I looked online but found nothing working or nothing similar to my issue.

Ryzen 5 3600 with B450 Tomahawk. CPU will not come out of the socket. Liver is pushed all the way back. It won't budge. Additionally, motherboard lights CPU error light when the CPU cooler is screwed. And boots just fine with CPU cooler NOT screwed. Should I try to remove the CPU forcefully? Any ideas?

Hey guys ! I'm seeking help because I'm having an issue with my MSI Geforce GTX 4G OC I'm having a crash when I'm playing games that uses the OpenGL rendering API (such as Minecraft, Wakfu and Wolfenstein Enemy Territory) the strange thing is that it only crashes in game : I've ran multiple stress test : Furmark, TessMark x64, GiMark and no crash. I have a cheap 420W power supply, a Asus Prime B350 Plus, 16 GB of Ram (2x4 GB + 1x8GB), and I've tried on both latest driver ( DCH 430.86) (tried reinstalling it by first running DDU, rebooting, then running the driver installer) and older, no fix has been found, so if any of you guys have an idea I'm listening Thanks in advance ! Edit : Weird thing is that it seems like it "randomly occurs" and when it does I can relaunch the game as much as I want it always crash and I have to wait for 40-50min before it works again (I checked temps they are at most at 60°C)

Hi guys, I think the below problems are caused by my motherboard (please correct me if I'm wrong - glad for all the help I can get) : I built the following system: Case: bequiet Darkbase 700 + 2 additional fans 4 in total Mobo: Aorus x570 Ultra CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X - stock cooling RAM: G.Skill TridentZ 16GB 3600-16-16-16 GPU: Zotac 1080Ti storage: Samsung MZ-V7S250BW SSD 970 EVO Plus 250 GB M.2 + Samsung MZ-V7S1T0BW SSD 970 EVO Plus 1 TB M.2 Monitors: 3 monitor setup where the main monitor is a Samsung Curved 27inch gaming monitor with 144herz operating system: win10 (64bit) Mobo flashed to newest uefi bios, all drivers for all components manually downloaded and installed. Problems: The Bios randomly looses the configurations (fan management, and RAM XMP) after restarts in the AORUS software (easy tune) prompts: "the motherboard was changed - all settings reset to standard" in the UEFI bios directly the message appears something like: "components where changed - reset to standard" sometimes the PC won't wake up from energy saving mode/sleep - all the fans go on but the monitors stay black at this point I also realize that bios lost all config again as the RGB elements have random colours after I restart/reset the PC the Samsung Gaming Monitor is no longer working and stays black my main monitor (Samsung 27inch 1440p 144herz) stays black after I start the PC the other monitors work fine and the system just pretends that my main monitor doesn't exist this goes hand in hand with a loss of bios configuration it doesn't always happen when bios looses its settings but the other way round, bios always looses its setting when the monitor goes black a strange detail that also has to do something with it: sometimes I go into bios and it appears strangely distorted and blurred on my main monitor - when I then exit bios I can be 100% sure that the main monitor will stay black and is no longer recognized by my system What I tried: no overclocking/no XMP profile for RAM use different DDR4 RAM plug in the main monitor alone and on different ports with different cable - it won't come on again. Only after I reset bios (clear CMOS) and cut off monitor and computer from power for some time clear CMOS different BIOS version uninstall all Gigabyte Software in Windwos (easy tune, @bios, etc.) checked all cables, connections, components, etc. Is my motherboard faulty? What else can I try??? I'm already sleep-deprived and going crazy as I can't even find the reason for the problems.

I have 2 computers on my network that I am unable to ping, except they can ping my PC that's connected via Ethernet but I am unable to ping them. They are both on the wireless band. I tried connecting them via physical Ethernet, disabling the firewall on both clients, I checked the subnet mask and ip's to verify their both on the same IP network, and I tried setting static ip's. AP Isolation is disabled on router, Both of these malfunctioning computers are running Windows 7 Unlike the computer i'm using to troubleshoot them is using Windows 10, I can ping every other device on my network even ones using the wireless bands. At this point i'm stumped I have tried everything within my knowledge to diagnose this with no prevail.

Hi all, Yesterday I finished a new build for my gf, and the pc worked fine. However today, while she was transferring files from her old laptop to the pc, it crashed and won't boot now. When booting, the VGA check LED lights up, and nothing else happens. Specs: Aorus x570 Ultra R7 3700X 32gb (2x 16) 3200 MHz Hyperx RGB memory RX 5700 XT Red Devil Cooler master 750W PSU Reseating the GPU didn't help.
