When I was unscrewing the mounting brackets for the CPU cooler from my B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2 rev 1.3, the back plate came off. I was able to reattach it using the stand-offs for the AIO I'm using, but it is loose. Is this normal? If it isn't, then how can I fix it? I haven't installed the AlO yet.

Hello guy, I need your help, I 'v been troubleshooting for hours and days and have no idea what the problem is. Simtums: about 20-50% fps reduction in all my games (overwatch cs go dbd apex ) It is kinda constas but it can work for a few seconds and be very bad too For example, if I'm aiming down sight and not moving the mouse its seemingly fine (100+ fps in ow) but if I jiggle it is like 50 The weird thing is it fell like it messed up all my sensitivity, it's like it is set to a lower number than it is, so I suspect I have a super high input lag or something (even youtube playback was stuttering sometimes) Temps are looking fine 90 on the CPU (ist normal for this laptop) and 65-80 on GPU In 3d mark its performing fine for some odd reason What have I tried: reinstalling Nvidia drivers reinstalling chipset drivers different performance modes windows update rollback checking game files Spec: 2020 g14 gtx 1650 ti 4800hs 24gb ram win 11 external Samsung SSD shield t7 for game library I would be super grateful if you can share some tips whit be! Thanks!

Hello everyone, I just wanna post this here, as I have been having issues lately with my build that've done last year. Everything works as much as it can. Apart from freezes or crashes that would likely happen out of no where, there was an issue that usually appears often, stutters. The stutter consists of like 2-3 seconds of slowness and robotic audio while it stutters. I am not sure what causes it and I've been trying to figure it out Here is some of the clips of the stutters, which can help to make the point across easier. https://streamable.com/74s3mu https://streamable.com/3yren5 https://streamable.com/fxddxu I am not sure if it even hardware related, or if its software related, or just windows being windows. Nevertheless, my specs are linked below... https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Rankaku/saved/DgCPXL Any tips or help would be great! Thanks!

Hey! I’m new to the former but I couldn’t think of a better place two look for help. I just moved and started redoing my setup and ran into some trouble with my PC, every time I boot it up I get no display my fans sound like they are at full blast and I can’t shut it down without having to flip the power switch on the back of my PSU. My motherboard, AIO, and GPU all light up but I can’t figure out what the problem might be. I appreciate any help thanks in advance! -OB

Whenever I play a game with maxed graphics settings and try to run it with high fps (144 caped) my pc starts to freeze, audio gets delayd and texture wont load properly and stutters, sometimes crashes and sends me "boot device not found" when I restart. I've tested ram already with memtest and they seem to be ok. I'v done some experiments, it seems it I can actually run max graphic settings by caping fps to 60/30 on some games. Whenever i leave my laptop open for like 20 mins without touching it all of the applications start to look like this .... I just have to Restart the apps to fix it or my Laptop if it happens often enough. my guess is its a problem with the RAM but I'm not sure. Any ideas what the problem could be ? Thank you for reading hope you have a good day

So basically I just upgraded my GPU from a RX570 to a RTX2060, audio was working fine, but now nothing. I know im on the correct back port (green one), also tested front one with headphones, nothing, audio on monitor through DP nothing, I know how to change the device I'm using to test, It is the default device (Speakers), Reinstalled driver multiple times nothing, from both device manager and MOBO manufacturer (Gigabyte), and also to inspect the worst case scenario checked the MOBO conections (from Chipset to CPU to DAC to ports and all intact. Also all devices are recognised, and software side shows sound beeing played but no sound from speakers/headphones Just in case my specs are: Gigabyte B450 Gaming X AMD R5 3600 Corsair Vengance LPX 8GB @2400 x2 EVGA RTX 2060 XC Ultra Gaming PNY 120GB SSD (Boot drive) Seagate Barracuda 2TB (Main storage) Cooler Master Elite 400W Logitech Z150 (Speakers) Windows 10 Home 64bit HELP!!!!!!! I have a Ryzen 5 3600x (base 3.8ghz boost 4.3ghz) in CPUID and task manager, the cpu clocks are constantly at 4.15ghz to 4.3ghz, even when not under load. WHY??!!!! In the bios, and task manger it says the base speed is 3.8ghz, and i have reset the cmos, and taken out the battery multiple times. Have not overclocked since, and it still wont down clock back to the base frequency even when under no load. There is nothing major in the background, and even on the desktop, it is still turboing, Please help -also, my temps are not great, even tho i have an aio, mounted it multiple times, and have lots of air. When some browser tabs are open, the temps are around 45-65 degrees. This is not my problemb, but i think it is related.

There is no beep codes or led error codes as well. Any suggestions? I have tried Clearing the CMOS Reseating the RAM Swapping the RAM for a different kit Adding a graphics card Taking the entire system apart and put back together

So I have a CLEVO gaming laptop with an i7-10875H with undervolt max temps 90*C with temp limits set to -15*C from 100, can undervolt more. RTX 2080 Super Max Q. Currently powered by a 180w supply. I plan to overclock the gpu I feel it reaches a point where it requires more power when it suddenly cuts off when both the cpu and gpu are under high load. But working perfectly if the gpu is the only one under load. But under current overclocking capacity the gpu never goes above 70*C but see a gigantic improvement in performance. Is anyone willing to answer my question please. Also planning to add faster ram and ssd storage x2

So I bought an MSI RTX 3080 gaming x trio almost two years ago and I’ve been using it with no problems at all. Few months ago every game I try to play freezes after few seconds of launch. I tried almost everything to fix this from fresh installation of Windows to updating my GPU bios. Nothing seems to work until I moved the core clock slider all the way to the left and increased mem clock by 840. Games play fine but with poor performance. I tried using my friend’s gpu on my rig and it works fine so I figured the issue must be my gpu. Is there an actual fix for this? Things I tried: Fresh install everything updated drivers Flash bios for Motherboard and GPU Replaced RAM sticks Replaced PSU Did Benchmark test with stable results Note: I used to mine using this card so this might be a possible cause, but I still hope for a fix. I’ve never done any overclocking to the card. Rig: MSI RTX 3080 gaming x trio MSI b450 gaming plus max Corsair 750w gold Corsair Vengeance 16gb

Hey there, I bought a 3060 about half a year ago, and tried to configure it via MSI afterburner. while idle, seems like the GPU responds to the software perfectly (even when turning the fan speed to 100%, it responds) , but while in game the GPU just develop a mind of his own, going back and forth between very loud and almost silent. The thing is, at a certain point the software just doesn't monitor the fan speed, or says that it's as it's supposed to be, Though it's definitely the GPU fans (physically stopped every fan in the system while the system being loud, and while stopping the GPU fans stopped the noise levels are just fine). I had this problem from day 1 and I'm not sure if the product is defective, has compatibility issues with any of my other components, or if I'm doing anything wrong. I Know the ventus series is not supposed to be the best in terms of noise and temps, but the temps are actually fine, not passing the 70, it's the noise levels that I'm looking after. the fans speed/noise levels seems to have no correlation with the temps of any of the components in the computer. would be glad to hear any suggestions or if anybody has encountered this problem, or maybe even know if the card is faulty. Cheers everyone. specs: I7-12700KF Arctic 34 CPU Cooler GIGABYTE Z690 UD DDR4 Kingston FURY BEAST 2x16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Coolermaster MWE GOLD 750 FULL MODULAR MSI Geforce RTX 3060 VENTUS 2X 12G XPG DEFENDER E-ATX Mid Tower 1TB 980 PRO Windows 11

Hello, Last year I built my pc and had a r5 3600xt running on its stock cooler, at idle it hovered around 60 degrees Celsius and would push up to high 90s. a few weeks ago I decided to upgrade the cooler to a NZXT m22 AIO. It is only a 120mm rad but I thought the aesthetics was worth running a few degrees hotter. However even though I have 3 140mm intake fans and, one 140mm exhaust fan and the AIO acting as a exhaust all at full speed, I'm still running at 60c at idle and maxing out at 95c on Cinebench R23. Even after shutting of half of my cores and running my cpu at 2200mhz I still idle in the high 50 degrees Celsius Is this normal? ( I haven't overclocked it) Can I under volt my CPU to solve this problem? Will more thermal paste help (I used the stock thermal paste pre applied it doesn't cover the whole CPU but it looks to be enough ) Should I place the rad as an intake? The case is a dark base 700 (Front panel off for air flow) Pump it at full speed (I have a 3070 but its running cool)

I just upgraded my gpu from radeon 5700 to a 3070 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B097TCX8QL?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details bought at this link), all worked fine but when i installed geforce experience and looked on it, says the card is a 3060. Did i get scammed or is it showing it wrong? I looked for indicators on the actual card but couldnt see anything that would distinguish it from the 3060 varient.

Ive done lots of troubleshooting for this issue already so ill try and list only the Relevant details i have found. My 7900 XTX Red Devil limited edition is randomly completely Freezing my System and occasionally getting the Blue Screen error DPS_Watchdog_Violation whenever refresh rate is turned up above 60 HZ. Systems Specs: Ryzen 7 7700X ROG Strix B650E-F Motherboard 32 GB DDR5 5600 CL36 Powercolour RX 7900 XTX Red Devil Limited Edition CPU is cooled via custom loop watercooling. PSU is 1200 watts 80 Plus Platinum. AOC 1440p 165HZ Monitor with Freesync Whenever refresh rate is turned up above 60 HZ the system will Freeze and completely lock up, no response from caps lock no audio etc and need to be hard powered down and restarted. Sometimes after about 30 seconds i get a BSOD error DPC_Watchdog_Violation. Sometimes the freeze is instant and sometimes sometimes it can be up to 4-5 days between issues after turning up the refresh rate but normally will happen within an hour. Sometimes the system freezes completely and no matter how long i leave it i dont get any errors it just stays frozen exactly where it was. I had originally suspected SSD, Motherboard, Drivers or a Faulty Windows install. I Have tested on 3 different SSDS from 2 different manufacturers. I have tried the Newest and previous 2 drivers from AMD and just using microsoft basic display adapter. I have done a total of 11 Fresh reinstals of windows across this process both with up to date and older versions of windows 11. The issue occurs across all of these. When switching out the GPU for an Nvidia or AMD GPU of the previous generation i get no errors and everything works perfectly. I have confirmed all thermals appear to be under control and i can detect and find no errors from the GPU itself. Im having very similar problems to somebody else on the Guru 3D forums https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/for-rx-7900-series-driver-with-refresh-rates-above-60-hz-may-cause-bsod.446079/ Although my issues seem to differ because i get BSOD regardless if Freesync is enabled or disabled. The monitor being used has been fine for years i have tried different cables and even trying to drop the refresh rate to something like 90 HZ but anything over 60 HZ even at lower resolutions like 1080P will cause the Freezing/BSOD. Since the issue does not occur on any other of the 4 GPUs i tested 2 from Nvidia and 2 From AMD on previous Gen GPU's it looks like it is just a problem with the 7900 XTX and windows disagreeing with Eachother. I have not been able to find a fix and am considering simply returning the GPU and going for a Nvidia option instead. I dont want to switch to Nvidia but it appears the same issue seems to be likely across all of the new AMD Gpus from what i have spoken to others about. If anybody knows of a fix or something that might help please let me know but i think i will just have to ditch AMD despite being a fanboy for the past few years. This has left me very dissapointed since i have had really good history with AMD gpus in particular and this is the first time i have had such a serious problem. First time posting lol just made an account just to ask for help on this Thankyou In Advance.

Hi guys I recently unplugged my PC (i have it for 2 days but it was perfect with all drivers) to take pics and put it up for sale (im flipping) And when i plugged back in and flipped the switch on my psu, it started flickering with the fans on except the Gpu fans. It also made a rattling noise and all the LEDs on me Gpu and fans were flickering. I tried resetting the cmos and checked the Gpu but they were not the problem. Any tips/answers?

I have owned a Lenovo G510s Touch for 4 years. A year after I first bought the laptop it started to slow down randomly to something that feels like Windows 10 running on a Pentium 4. I looked at my clock speeds in task manager and saw that the CPU only went up to 0.88GHz while a load was on the CPU. I checked temps with Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and aida64. XTU said that the cpu was throttling at 100% and had temps of around 65 degrees. aida64 said that there was no throttling and had the same temperatures. task manager also showed around 35% CPU usage while the stress test was running. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I have built a new computer recently but I still use this for mobility. Here are the specs: i5-4200M 8gb DDR3L Integrated Graphics Windows 10 If you need more for some reason ask.
