Hi, I'm experiencing a very weird issue with my preowned GTX Titan X Pascal. It's showing symptoms of having a bottleneck, since in games like BF1 and other more demanding games, the framerate seems to remain around the same value no matter the settings (varies from game to game). If, for example, I turn the settings up to ultra in BF1, I'll get around 95 to 99 percent usage, but if i turn it all the way down (and 50% resolution scaling) I get the same framerate but just much lower GPU usage. I know this is a sign of a bottleneck, but I can't for the life of me figure out where it would be. My specs are: GPU: GTX Titan X (Pascal) CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X RAM: 16gb of DDR4 at 3200MHz PSU: 750w In most games, the CPU usage doesn't really ever go above 50% (though certain cores do sometimes hop up to the 90'ies, but only ever for a few moments) At first I thought it might've been the CPU thermal throttling since it was running really hot, even when idling, but I've since gotten a Noctua NH-D15 and my temps are wonderfully cool, whilst the issue persists. I've tried so many things besides looking for the potential bottleneck, like reinstalling drivers, rolling back drivers, re-seating the GPU, reinstalling windows, turned G-Sync off, and nothing has worked. I also think it's worth noting that in a game like Minecraft, I'll get between 60-30fps with GPU utilization at 15% or less. Thank you in advance for any help you might give me EDIT: Forgot to mention that I doubt the GPU is thermal throttling, since it's showing this behavior no matter the temperature. I get max 84 degrees when using it but that's only when the GPU is actually being fully used.

I am changing to Thermaltake X9 Cube case, 128GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666 Ram, Asus x99 Rampage V ROG 10 Edition E-ATX Motherboard, so I can have serious room for expansion of HDD's, SSD's, and be able to add full custom cooling, easier cable Management, room for more expansion cards like a HDTV TV Tuner, PCI Express SSD's, etc. transferring over my i76950X, Titan X's, SSD, and 2 HDD's and should have room for my blu ray drive from one of my older builds because my current case couldn't have it because my 280mm liquid cooler I had to remove the 5.25" bays for it to fit.

I have a 2016 Titan X and I was wondering that since the GTX 1080 ti seems to be almost the same, just with faster ram, could they be SLI'd together? I've been trying to find a used Titan X but everyone still wants way to much for one and it would be more cost effective to just get a 1080 ti. Let me know what you guys think and thank you in advance for your advice

Recently swapped my pc from the reference blower coolers and an Kraken AIO to a full custom loop. Boots fine and can complete a TimeSpy stress test no problem. However, when I go to play Bioware's latest fiasco, I get unexpected shutdowns. At first I attributed it to an over-sensitive Asus Anti-surge; upon POST, the warning came up. But with AAS switched off, the PC continues to shut off when exiting menus back into the game, or in the middle of combat. I have the SeaSonic 1050 SnowSilent, is 1050W truly not enough to maintain stable voltage and avoid surging? If so, would a 1200W unit be enough to solve my probem? So I am looking to do my first watercooled build after the holidays. I have everything laid out in part picker and all my loop components on EK. I am hoping someone can confirm that the EK -RES X3 150 will fit at the end of a Titan XP with an EK waterblock, I am seeing a lot of conflicting info and I really want the res mounted on the res bracket between the MOBO and the HDD cages. Does anyone know if its possible to SLI last years Titan X(Pascal) with this years Titan Xp?

are their PCBs like almost the same? and does the titan cooler fits on the gtx 1080?

So I need to render complex 3DS MAX stuff over night. Normally would take a week to render. The idea is that by using the NVLink chip on the Asus x99 WS 10G, vRay RT will be able to stack the ram and render massively complex environments. We have been limited to CPU only because of the memory constraints. NVLink requires 16x PCIe (my understanding) the MB comes with 4 16x and 3 8x. This MB has an NVLink chip up converter left of the north bridge allowing for 8x to interact with each other at 16x levels. NVLink in theore alowes video cards to share each other assets entirely. Where SLi is like hand shaking and helping each other out studying after school, NVLink is like Goku and Vegeta Fusion. I should name this build Gogeta. An 84gig GDDR5 video card sounds really cool. I'm going with the i7-6850k because it's one of the cheapest 40 lane chip. ram I'm not hung up on. Anyone won't to vet this idea before I drop $16k+ to make this build. Hello, after first posting on this forum 4 years ago about creating a super compact computer case, which sadly never happened when I realized how many measurements had to be exact if everything was going to fit. I am now back here with my journey from wanting to build a super compact computer case to building a huge 54-liter case and finally ending up building a tiny 8.7-liter case that you can see here. After getting scared of the number of measurements I decided to give up on the case idea and just water cool the computer I had. So in 2015 Snow 1.0 was created. This was my first-time water cooling and I learned a lot from it. Pictures of Snow 1.0: One and a half years later in late 2016 I got access to a CNC plasma cutter and decided it was time to try again. At the time I was in love with the cases from Parvum Systems but I didn't like that they were made from acrylic and not aluminum like my previous Phanteks Enthoo Evolv. So after studying their cases, I managed to create a 3D model of the case I wanted to build. All measurements had to be eyeballed since Parvum did not provide any. Here is my final 3D model and dxf of the completed case: And some pictures: The case was cut on a CNC plasma cutter in 3mm thick aluminum. I then milled cubes from solid aluminum that I then drilled and tapped threads into. These were in all corners of the case to hold it together since I did not want to weld anything. Some final pictures of how the Snow 2.0 turned out: Fast forward to mid-2018 and I was tired of carrying around a huge 15Kg, 54 Liter computer everywhere. It was time for Snow 3.0 to happen. I took everything I learned from creating Snow 2.0 and started modeling my new SFF case. I wanted similar to the Dan case A4-SFX and the Louqe Ghost S1. I was more careful this time modeling since everything had to fit very snug this time around. Making cubes in every corner to screw it together would take too much space in the case. Since I don't own a welder for aluminum and I wanted the side panels to be magnetic I had to go with steel. The case was cut with a CNC water cutter for about 136 USD in 2mm thick steel. If you can, use a water cutter. Makes for way less sanding compared to plasma cutting. It will save you hours of sanding... trust me. Sadly I don't have many pictures of the building process of Snow 3.0 but here are some shots of the final case: In each corner, there is a nut welded onto the case and a round-head bolt that I then place magnets onto to hold the side panels firmly onto the case. The bolts make for easy adjustment so that the side panel goes flush with the rest of the case. So...bear with me on this one. I started this project nearly two years ago and then a bunch of life stuff happened and I dumped it in a corner and then struggled to pick it back up. Now that I have gotten back into it I feel like I am rediscovering my love for enthusiast computing, and it has been a great feeling and a big help in getting through some stuff. Since I was a teenager and built my first computer I've always wanted to do a crazy over the top custom loop build. I've done many water cooled builds over the years but they were pretty generic. Now, in my thirties, I have the resources and some know how to make that "dream" become a reality. This is the first time I've ever done a customized case project of this scale, and I am learning A LOT as I go. I've made some mistakes, some uneven cuts, and even redone some stuff. It won't be perfect but I'm trying my best to get as close to perfect as I can within my abilities. Somethings I kinda was like...well I'm not perfect so this is a good reflection of that. The general plan is to stack two gutted Thermaltake Core X9's on top of eachother and make a dual loop hardline system in it. The lowest level will house the radiators, pumps, and some reservoirs, while the top will house the hardware and the cooling will pass up to it. The top will have a glass window front, top, and sides. In terms of practicality....well....it isn't. This is just what I thought would look cool and I've got a vision in my head that I tweak as I go. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Here are some pictures of where I started about two years ago and my next post will show my recent progress and changes. Just a quick question; does anyone know where you can get the Titan XP in Norway? I've looked around all stores I can think of, but no one has them... Checked on price index sites (if that's what you can call them :P); nothing, Google reveals nothing other than that you can apparently not buy it from nVidia's site if you live here (in Norway, but this is based on ONE post in a forum - I have not seen anyone else mention it). You could buy them everywhere just after launch, but now it seems that all stores just gave up on them. If anyone knows, please let me know, all feedback is appreciated.

I'm building my first system, obviously I want it to be the best I can make. I would appreciate input on the best choice of close loop cooling available offered for the Titan X Pascal. I favor Corsair but open to suggestions. Thank you very kindly for any and all suggestions

Hi, So after waiting patiently for a few months ; i am ready to buy my GPU at the end of this month, My issue's are : I don't mind going second hand but would like it to be amazing I don't wanna CF 2 Rx 480 4GB. I want something that's going to overclock like a beast. I run 3 Monitors at 5760x1080 for some games. I otherwise run 1080 120hz I did see a R9 295x2 for £250 but... its pretty old now Help !
