Hello, I've recently been looking into the Ryzen 1600 as an upgrade for my current PC, however, I can't find myself 8gb of RAM that's at least 2x4 (because I feel it looks much better) and that fits within my budget of £300ish. I would like some help on finding some RAM for my setup. Thanks in advanced. EDIT: Fixed after upgrading to latest build by downloading the iso in another computer and using a bootable pendrive to fresh install. Build 10240 had some issues for me so be careful do have a creators updated installer with you before upgrading just in case I upgraded my PC from a i3-2120 to Ryzen 1600 yesterday. I have not overclocked the CPU or the memory though I brought a 3000Mhz one I am currently running it on 2133Mhz.The main issue is while doing basic tasks like copying files my system freezes up and the mouse and keyboard stops working the CPU fans and lights are on though. The system only works once I restart using the power switch and this happens once in 10-15 mins making the PC totally unusableThe CPU temps and GPU temps are around 40-45C and the ambient temperature is around 35C hereI am currently running Windows 10 10240 since I didn't have updated windows iso now. The iso is installed on a SSD which had no problems till now. My specs are as follows1. Ryzen 16002. CPU cooler Gammaxx 400 3. Motherboard ASUS B350 plus4. Corsair's Vengeance LPX 16GB (1*16)5. Cooler master thunder 500watt PSU6. Asus Geforce Gtx 750ti OC edition7. 2 cooler master sickle flow fans of 120mm and 2 deep cool 120m fans are installed ( one on the CPU cooler)8. HDD WD blue 2TBSeagate 1TBIntel Pro 1500 SSD (Boot drive)I will try installing a clean installation of windows again or wait for a while to download the latest oneI am using the latest BIOS and latest drivers from Asus and Nvidia for the chipset and Gtx card respectively Things that I did with this board so far 1. Clean installing after formatting the SSD for gpt based installation. I have done only MBR based in my previous build. I did this because I was unable to install windows 2. Installed chipset drivers and updated bios through EZ Flash 3 3. Tried disabling SMT the problem still exists 4. I had a few Clock watchdog timeout BSOD's while using the computer 5. No overclocking done both for CPU and memory 6. Also the temps vary a lot it Jumps from 49 to 45 in a second or so though things are gradual when viewed in bios 7. The voltage is near 1.35 while SMT enabled and 1.22 with SMT disabled

I would like to know if this combo would create any bootlenecks, I found a 970 ( https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GeForce-Gaming-GDDR5-Graphics/dp/B00NH5T1MS ) for $157 used and I´ plan to pair it with a Ryzen CPU, maybe a 1600.

Hello guys ! I got an annoying and awful issue that my pc is stuttering and sometimes i got BSOD at startup, but for a few days this didnt happen. From time to time video just freezes for a second and audio is buzzing. It gets worse when i play videos, games or i stay on teamspeak. I usually have my processor oced, but i got it on stock clock speed and is the same thing. I memtested my ram, both sticks separately and everything seems good. I thought it could be my dedicated sound card, but i deleted its drivers and removed it and the issue was still there. I tried everything i could think of. I reinstalled windows and everything is up to date, drivers and so on. I used sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth. I checked temps of everything and nothing surpases 65C when i am playing and haviong this issue. I used latencymon software and this message appears but i dont know if it helps: "Your system appears to be having trouble handling real-time audio and other tasks. You are likely to experience buffer underruns appearing as drop outs, clicks or pops. One or more DPC routines that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. One problem may be related to power management, disable CPU throttling settings in Control Panel and BIOS setup. Check for BIOS updates." My BIOS is up to date too and i got every power option on maximum performance. Hi guys, my 1st post here. For the past few days I was trying to install the windows on my nvme ssd drive and I still can’t get it work. I’ve tried everything I could found on the internet and still no luck. The last thing I tried is the green suggestion from this post: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-3473090/install-windows.html yet I fail at the 8th step as my bios does’t see the drive at all, only my usb stick drive. If anyone run into this issue before or knows anything that could help, pls help me out cause now I can use my nvme drive just as storage which is kida bummer as I have a 2tb hdd drive

I recently tried overclocking my Ryzen 1600 because I just bought a new Cooler master 212 EVO and a EVGA 650W Gold power supply. I bumped the GHz to 3.8 and set the voltage to 1.3500 and since my Ram is DDR4-2133 thats exactly what I set the frequency too and I set the voltage to 1.200 because that's what I could set it too according to the sticker on the ram stick. I couldn't really adjust the option thats labeled "Memory try it" because the frequencies were way beyond the frequency of my ram so I disabled it, I was also told to set the "Memory Retry count" to 2 by my friend (I have no idea why) but as soon as I set up all those options computer works completely fine when I boot it up. I immediately open up CPU-Z to see if the overclock is present and it is, I then immediately do a stress test on CINEBENCH and it didn't crash and actually got a pretty decent score, but up until I tried the AIDA64 stress test, it would only go up to an hour before giving me the message of "Hardware failure detected, test stopped". I tried it once more for good measure but I am still getting the same results. I then make a bold decision and play the Witcher 3 to see if anything would happen and I played for a good solid 10 minutes and nothing is wrong at all, the game preformed a lot better then it did when it wasn't overclocked. Everything else seems fine, but my computer just cant pass the AIDA64 stress test, and to my understanding (since I am pretty new at overclocking) if I don't get any errors, I have a stable overclock. I am pretty certain that I did everything right, but I just can't figure out whats going on. Hello guys! One noob question here... I have a Ryzen 5 1600 and an ASRock A320M-HDV motherboard with the latest bios. When the pc is not doing much, like watching a Youtube video or something like that the vcore is arround 1.360v, but while gaming or running Prime95 or Aida64 the vcore is 1.2v. Could sombody tell me what is going on here? The chip is not overclocked. Is this normal? Will it reduce the lifespan of my cpu? Thanks in advance!
