The left click broke and subsequently was lost when it fell out of the mouse. Is there a place I can buy a replacement? Somebody at Best Buy told me you can call logitech and they will give you one for free, but when I called some bot talked to me and told me to blow off its not a big deal ( basically tried to convince me I don't have a problem and hung up) Thanks

Hello there, I have a XMG Zenith 17 laptop, which is basically a modified clevo P870TM-G I think. It has a Nvidia GTX 1080 however after 5 years it has now died. At least im pretty sure it died, screen artifacts even when nothing is running and event viewer showed errors relating to TDR. Now I have to replace my GPU but getting a 1080 is basically only possible in used condition. So I'm thinking of upgrading, but to be honest i have but a rudementary understanding on the topic. Is it possible to Upgrade the GPU, and if so what things do I have to keep in mind? Does the Architecture of the new GPU need to be the same? Thank you all in advance. So I broke this window fan I would've tried soldering the blade back on but I don't have the blade now (it broke a while ago) I would've also liked to replace the fan blades entirely but I haven't found one on amazon or ebay. Closest I got is some 3 blade plastic ones So I'm asking if anyone knows where I can find a replacement blade? If anything could work well as a next best (like the 3 blade one)? The type of fan is shown in the 3rd picture If there is just no chance of fixing it then I'll just need somewhere to trade it in or some way to dispose of it safely

The New Pull you showed on the WAN Show are awesome. Why don't you make it so they are replacable without bending the zipper itself. Like have a lash at the end bottom of the pull that can open up and hock back in again. If you fear about liablity, you could even advise users that they should cut the old pull off, instead of bending the zipper.

Hey y’all, I’m trying to figure out a mobo for my next build but was struggling to find one that suited my needs. The rog strix B550-A gaming (link below) fits most of my needs, (good io; ryzen 5000 compatible; ATX; white, silver and black color scheme; won’t bottleneck high-end parts), yet it doesn’t have built-in wireless WiFi. Do y’all have any recommendations for a board that fits these requirements that is a good replacement? Thanks! -TomPot Link: https://www.newegg.com/asus-rog-strix-b550-a-gaming/p/N82E16813119349?Item=N82E16813119349&nm

5700xt Gigabyte 5700xt replacing shroud with 2x120mm case fans
hergarian posted a topic in Graphics Cards
Hello! First time poster here. I need some help concerning my 5700xt project. I'm planning to remove the original shroud/fan assembly off of my Gigabyte 5700xt and replace it with two Actic P12s. Reason for that simply being noise. I don't want to run them using a motherboard fanheader, so I'm planning to connect them to my GPU fanheader and let them be controlled via that. Thing is, I can't find any diagram or something of that sort onling showing me what pin is responsible for what and in which orientation. Also I'm unsure on how the fans will behave. The original assebly is rated for 12V 0.35AMP while one arctic fan is 12V 0.08AMP. Will that be a problem? Thanks in advance and sorry for my english -
Hello, I broke one of the fans on my GPU recently (snapped a blade) and I'm looking to fix it or replace it myself. RMA isn't really an option for me since I don't have another system to use for work/school. Do you guys know where I can order a replacement set of fans for this? I've tried reaching out to MSI support in the past but I haven't heard back from them at all. Anything would be helpful! My GPU

Alright so I have been trying to find a replacement for google drive for a while but I've had some issues with trying to replace some functionality of Google Drive. All I really want to be able to do is to host files on a server locally, then be able to create a link to either the file itself or to a folder that has files in it, then be able to send people that link in order for them to download it. I know that if I have a server setup to be accessed remotely I could always have people login and find the files they want and download them, but I work with a lot of non tech savvy people who would not be able to navigate that kind of structure, and Google Drive's ability for me to just create a link for them to click is something I couldn't do without. If anyone knows of a NAS OS or anything like that that has this capability it would be greatly appreciated

Hi guys! I am looking for a laptop to replace my Lenovo y50-70 since it's brokey (screen doesn't work, battery lasts very short, deck broken etc...) I wanted a suggestion from you all and wanted to do a side rant a bit! What I would love to have is a laptop with a 100%srgb at least screen (would love to get 16:10) since I have started editing my photos etc. The screen resolution would be nice at more than 1080p and for size I was thinking about 15.6'' or 16''. As for the rest cpu I am not sure if Amd or Intel is a better option!(multicores and battery life vs thunderbolt and single core perf) I would be doing also some light video editing such as 1080p (MAYBE 4k in the future?) without many effects, just color grading with lumetri on Adobe premiere. I would be doing also some basic audio editing since I am a musician. For the storage I have seen that it's very unlikely I will get the 1tb that I had before. Lastly with a non gamery cheap design Budget around 1000€ My researches have told me that such laptop almost does not exists! My ideal pc would be the Msi GS66 stealth but that's waaaay overbudget! I looked at the lenovo legion 5 and it could be an interesting option but I would also like to have some other opinions! RANT: I feel like laptop have become less and less interesting over the time! I would love a thin and light but the prices are way too expensive with a drop in display sizes(many 13'' or 14''). Another absurd aspect I have noticed is that those sizes are the one that get higher display resolution. I have seen plenty of them with 1440p resolution wherease the 15.6'' keep their FHD displays. Not to talk about the high refresh rate with a junk color gamut or super color gamut with a jank refresh rate. Do people really need more than 144hz on a laptop? I know innovation is cool etc but no middleground seems like a stupid idea. I have seen only 1 screen that could be cool 165hz, 100%rgb, 16:10, 2160x1600 of the legion... I know there is also a shortage on gpus but their model name and performance are just a nightmare! 1050-1650 - 1650ti max q- 1660ti max q- 2060 and 2060 maxq - 3050ti - 3060 with more or less vram and wattage (also why is a 1650ti newer than a 1660ti?). Their design language where they put just red accents on the pc or stupid rgb everywhere. Also the IO on the back of a laptop, like the legion 5... why do you even think about that's a good idea? I may have been stupid or whatever but the braided cable of my logitech g504 got melted because of the (way) too high temperature of my laptop... why shouldn't a usb stick right next to the vent do the same? Moreover I know people need power etc but why would ANYONE want a laptop that at full load cannot be recharged when plugged in? or why would anyone want to go around with a legion 5 with a freaking 300w charger for a laptop? where is the portability side? What about the super small batteries(also paired sometime with 4k displays)? Why are companies ditching sd card reader for micro sd reader? WHO uses that card for their cameras or whatever else? They should either offer it or ditch it adding a thunderbolt port... Also Asus g14 without a webcam? WHY I don't know you all guys but I fell like 1000€ is not that cheap of laptop and you can find just beginner stuff that are either ugly but ok or beautiful but useless... I know they want to push the consumer to buy always the more expensive one.... Now as Linus says it's not worth it to just criticise so here you go my ideal pc: CPU:4c/8t - 6c/12t intel or amd GPU: (new naming order) 1660ti 6gb - 2060 6gb Display: 2160*1600, 120hz/144hz, 100% Adobe Rgb, 16:10 aspect ratio, IPS (or microled :P) Ram: 16gb ram SSD: 512gb-1 Tb Min Battery: 80Wh min IO: 2 usb 3.2 type A ; 2-3 type c with at least 2 power delivery and 1-2 thunderbolt 3 or usb4(if not higher) ; sd-card reader would be top; 1080p camera Design: like the dell xps or the razer, could be thicker for proper cooling and batteries, not exceeding 2.5kg though Price: 1000-1500€ I know some of the specs are just plain dream right now but something could be a bit downsized or thought over Thanks for the patience! Feel free to make any suggestion, modification to my "ideal" laptop

So I need to replace the fan on my GPU since it started making weird noises (I assume the bearing wore out?) and out of nowhere stopped spinning for a few seconds while testing it in MSI Kombustor. My GPU fan is 75mm in diameter with 50x50x50mm mounting hole distance. For some reason, I can't find any fan with a 50x50x50mm mounting hole distance, while the closest I've found were fans with 40x40x40mm or 43x43x43mm. Now, is it ok if I buy those fans and then drill my own holes onto the plastic where the mounting screws go? In my opinion, it sounds perfectly fine but I just want to hear other people's opinions since this is the first time I've had to replace a GPU fan and this is my first GPU which I bought used. I live in the Philippines so other sites aren't viable for me, but for those who wants to help find a fan with those dimensions (and compatible with this 12V, 0.5A) I would much appreciate it. :))

gpu Replacement GPU fan sources, (5700XT MSI Evoke OC)
Bumblebeepee posted a topic in Graphics Cards
tl;dr Anyone found a good place to get the correct size fans for specific graphic cards? Ive got a AMD 5700XT MSI Evoke OC, one of the fans has started intermittently buzzing at high speeds. now I'd rather not send a GPU out for repair as there'd be no way to use this PC in the meantime, I did reach out to MSI's support who said they couldn't sell the fans on their own, but could sell the entire cooling for the GPU (heat-sink, shroud, fans) But they gave a approx cost of £110 +tax and shipping, (not bad if you needed the entire cooler, but annoying as i only need the fans). So i'm trying to hunt around for a matching compatible fan, or dip into water-cooling as a block from Alphacool is €98 (plus the rest of the water-cooling loop) What's your recommendations?- 2 replies

Hey, so one of my first posts so hope you bear with me. I'm running a "Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 4GB G1 GAMING" and one of its fans has decided to grant me its siren song. It's not hitting against anything but i hear a constant grinding kind of sound when it runs, it also can't spin up to max speed so is very slow. I've not seen that great of an impact on my temperatures, even did a thermal paste replacement since that had turned solid. nevertheless its a pain to listen to the fan, so i wanted to replace it. I'm struggling to find any place i can buy a replacement fan however, and i was wondering if some people here, more tech-shop fantastic than me could help point me in the right direction. I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hey all, So I'm a licensed drone pilot based in Ohio, and over the weekend I had the unfortunate situation of my main gear bag disappearing on me. Unfortunate, but we move on. While I wait for insurance to resolve everything, I wanted to take suggestions on possible gear substitutions or upgrades based on what I already have. For the record, I do a lot of land flyovers and real estate. What I lost: Panasonic GH5 Olympus 9-18mm lens Mavic 2 Pro (+most of the fly more kit) Amazon Basics Deluxe Camera Bag. What I currently have: BMPCC4k Sigma 18-55 lens (with Viltrox Speed Booster) Panasonic 25mm m4/3 lens Phantom 4 Pro v1 (+1 Battery and ND Filters) Insta360 One R (Split 360 with Mavic 2 mount) The gear I still have works but most of it is simply too large or cumbersome for travel, especially by plane. What would you do? What would you get?

I live in Canada and my budget (before taxes) is $1600 (i could go a bit over if its justified) and I need a desktop replacement for light to medium gaming (skyrim, no mans sky, and other steam games) and use for university, (some rendering and code compiling) . I sold my gaming pc last year hoping to build a new 3090/5950x pc. Its been an eternity and prices are just too damn high so Im going to buy a laptop to get my by until I can actually get parts for msrp. Any suggestions on the absolute best gaming laptop for $1600 CAD? Im not opposed to refurbished models if its a reputable source with a warranty.

Recently I spilled a little (<10mL) water into the keyboard on my Lenovo Legion Y720-15Ikb 80VR (Intel Core i5-7300HQ, 8GB, 1256GB, HDD+SSD) (80VR00K2GE), and now I am having trouble with random keys being pressed at random times, specifically the bottom left keys (ctrl, shift, Z, but also B, N and enter) it is mostly these keys but sometimes also random others. As soon as I noticed these problems I shut off my computer and left it to dry completely out for around 14 days. When I noticed the problems persisted I tried removing the individual keys and wiping with a microfiber cloth in isopropyl alcohol (wringed out), still without luck. Now I have decided to replace the keyboard on my laptop to hopefully fix the problem. Upon calling Lenovo support they told me the spare part for replacing the keyboard, however this is a 300€ piece and seems to include a lot more than 'just' the keyboard: Lenovo recommended spare part However I have found the following spare part online which seems to 'only' be the keyboard and is only 39€: Much cheaper spare part Now do you think the cheaper part will be enough to fix the problem, or is the expensive part that Lenovo recommended necessary? Extra info: I only have problems with the random keyboard inputs and pressing the keyboard, there does not appear to be any other problems related to the spilled water whatsoever. I have reset my computer to factory settings as well as reinstalled keyboard drivers from device manager, also without luck. J

Hello! I have a Corsair HS35 and I messed up. I have a mic/audio splitter to well, split the audio and microphone signals and I plugged in the mic into the audio port. Now the mic output is very quiet. Did I just destroy the small elektret mic? Will I have any problems if I just replace it with a similar one?

TLDR at bottom So.... I ordered a 34 inch 144hz gaming ultrawide monitor on black Friday. When it comes, I notice it has a small patch of dead pixels in the bottom middle of the screen. I immediately contact support, which starts a ticket and I get an email from what seems like the rep's personal Lenovo email. After only 2 emails from the support rep, they stop responding, even after I follow up multiple times... A month later, I contact support again, tell them about my past ticket, and show the new rep the issue again (again thru the rep's personal Lenovo email). They say I should get a replacement/RMA confirmation email within 72 hours. Email never comes. Fast forward 2 weeks later, I find the replacement monitor on my doorstep. Keep in mind I have 0 RMA/replacement emails from Lenovo, and 0 charges on my card for the second monitor. soooooo am I free to keep both? TLDR: faulty monitor, contact support, get no RMA email, eventually find replacement monitor on my doorstep, haven't been charged for replacement... can I keep both?

P-J posted a topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
Hi everyone, My father has an Asus Vivobook E403S and the storage on his computer is so limited that Windows 10 can't perform any updates. So I decided to open it up to check what kind of drive I could install to solve this problem. The thing is, I can't find any sort of drive in the laptop ? No 2.5" bay, no M.2 slot ... Do you guys know where it is ? I'm confused Attached you'll find an image of what I saw ! Thanks for your help ) -
Hi everyone, I had to change my old LCD display inbuilt into my laptop (Lenovo ideapad 310 15ISK) as it got cracked. When I booted the system back up, only my secondary monitor would work and the new inbuilt display would not detect. I can not figure out why. The new screen is slightly different but should be compatible. I've noticed that the display driver for my new laptop screen is not present in the device manager. I have done the obvious things like restart my system, (tried) to install the latest drivers for my intel graphics and tried to detect the device in settings. Any ideas on how to proceed from here? I can provide extra information if that is helpful
