laptop Looking for the best laptop on the market!
Evyatar posted a topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
Hello everyone So, basically, I'm looking for a laptop that should be the best in every aspect (at least for me). I've asked Chat GPT, friends, retailers and Google, but no one found the laptop that I'm looking for. So, maybe here, in LTT forums some one could be the resolver for my issue? Let's say that money isn't the issue. What I need from the device: 1. Display - 4k OLED, Touch, perfebly 120HZ but I'll be find with 60hz. Size does not matter for me. Small, big, medium... 2. Keyboard - Full keyboard with a numpad. 3. CPU & Ram - Don't really care, anything from ryzen 5 / Core i7 would be fine for me. Don't care of it's U/P/H version of a cpu. 4. Have pen integrated to the device 5. Optional - If possible, ethernet port? Currently the only device that fits what I'm looking for is the X1 Yoga Gen 8, but it's without the full keyboard! What else could you recommend for me? Thank you! -
It'd be nice if this website had a 'How To' section! - Side note: without a how to section, I'm not sure where to post this. With a proper thread name, this could be good enough to sticky I read posts daily of people wanting Noctua to make their fans black. Well this is for you guys! Ever wish Noctua would make their fans black instead of that 'old skool' color some us of older guys have grown to love? Well they don't have to because it's easy to do yourself! This is what you will need. One can of Black Dye. I recommend buying Hi-tech, its roughly $10-$15 a can. Shake the can of paint vigorously for 2 minutes. Don't skimp on the shake, its very important to get this stuff mixed right for it to absorb into the plastic. Next you'll need to set up a place to paint - I like Cardboard due to disposability. Anything works really as long its free of dust/debris. Spray the first coat lightly. We want to dye the plastic, not paint it. So take your time. Allow 15 minutes of dry time in between coats. One hour later and this is what you'll get. Take your time and it will look this good. Trust me. You can do this with anything in a computer.

Even if you are worth your weight in gold you would still not have enough money to obtain the title of best overclock ever and have the title guaranteed forever

Hello, I`m new on this forum, will try to help out where I can with what info I have or I can try. Just moved to US, CA, from Europe originally. I love computer parts, adjusting them, improving etc and experiment, as well as make the perfect sweetspot builds. For now, i left most things behind except my laptops, one a gaming 1060 old one & another a Mac (huh?). But as soon as papers are done I`ll start getting back into desktop play though, meanwhile helping members troubleshoot if I can. i`m more into silent PCs lately, as slick as possible without RGB, inconspicuous is my target. I do however appreciate a good RGB build. Thanks for your time.

Hi! I need help to choose a better gaming laptop. Currently, I have a MacBook Pro, but I want to change for a gaming laptop. I've looking between Razer blade 14" (2017 model) and Alienware 13" (r3) (but what is discouraging me from buying the Alienware is its height 5.8lbs). And idk if The razer 14" 2017 model has a lot of problems like the 2016 model. (Such as overheating on idle or on normal load, bending, shortage of battery life, etc) I would like to know if there are another options as good as razer and alienware (on build quality and specs), and light was the razer. My budget is US$1800 / CAD#2400 Main use is going to be as a working laptop (software development), with a gaming capacity. Not many heavy load game will be played and not that often. Thanks

Hey guys. Just wanted to start a discussion about a dream laptop I have. It doesn't exist, and I dare say it may never exist, but I just thought it'd be fun to discuss this with y'all. So imagine. A laptop. Yoga 920 sized with XPS bezels except for the top, to accommodate a 1080p, IR camera for Windows Hello Razer style body minus the green accents and flashy logo. Black, anodized aluminum finish. Lenovo ThinkPad keys with RGB, Razer font, numpad and with/without dedicated macro keys. 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports, full HDMI 2.0, 2 each USB 3.1 Type A and Type C, audio jack, microphone jack, full size SD card slot, and fingerprint reader. 1440p IPS Touch Display with Wacom AES Digitizer and 94% AdobeRGB Stereo speakers from -insert favorite audio manufacturer- with 2 subwoofers Graphics good enough for Dark Souls 3 (or your favorite game) on low settings. Hyperthreaded quad core, base 2GHz up to 3.5GHz All day battery (9+ hours normal use, 2+ gaming, ~99Wh) And best of all....360 degree hinge I'm talking about something so blasphemous and niche in nature that it would be counterproductive to even produce on a mass scale. That, is my perfect laptop. How about y'all? What absurdities and interesting ideas contribute to your perfect laptop? What do you think of mine?

So I currently have the DeathAdder 2013, it's a bit fallen apart and rubbers etc fell off and lost. I have enjoyed my time with this mouse but I'm looking for a new mouse I don't want to just get another Deathadder chroma. I have gathered a bit of the list of the mouse I'm looking at. If you have any questions to ask me to help me find my perfect mouse please do ask away. For a bit of basic information my main game is cs:go/fps games I play 400 or 800 dpi and 1.8 sens and 4/3 in windows so mainly low sense. 1: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Proteus-Spectrum-Tunable-Gaming/dp/B019DVCW3E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469293255&sr=8-1&keywords=logitech+g502 2: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-G402-Hyperion-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00LFBEOUA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469443458&sr=8-1&keywords=Logitech+G402 3: https://www.amazon.co.uk/SteelSeries-Rival-Optical-Mouse-PC/dp/B00FAN4M3S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469443369&sr=8-1&keywords=SteelSeries+Rival 4: https://www.amazon.co.uk/SteelSeries-Sensei-Laser-Gaming-Rubberized/dp/B007N6HS3G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469443986&sr=8-1&keywords=SteelSeries+Sensei+raw 5: http://www.box.co.uk/Zowie_EC1-A_Right_Handed_Mouse_-_BIG_1980090.html

Zalman Z9 U3 - Quite liked this case but was looking at other options. Zalman Z9 Neo - Really like this case, What is sound like? NZXT Phantom 530 - Quite like this case also, Sound an airflow any good? be quiet Silent Base 600 - I like it, Think probably something better tho. So hopefully from this information that I have provided, you can assist me with trying to find my perfect case. I will leave at the bottom my PC specs just for a little more help. Specs: CPU: Intel I7 4790k Cooler: CM Hyper 212 Evo Motherboard: MSI Gaming 5 GPU: MSI Gaming GTX 980TI RAM: 8GB HyperX fury Ram PSU: EVGA Supernover 750W PSU - Might need to change for quieter PSU Thanks for all your help I am truly greatful!

Hi! My birthday is coming shortly, just around February 20th! I'm young still in school, and don't have a job. So, unfortunately, I rely on my parents money. A few years ago, it was my brothers birthday, and so my dad asked him to put together a $1500 build and he would get it. Now, this includes peripherals and the monitor. So, I thought, why not start off with a $1500 budget and see what I can pull off. SOME SIDE NOTES: I already have a monitor and a mouse. So, that leaves some extra money. I think I am gonna have to stick with these parts because I have decided that I think it is right for my build: Audioengine A2+ Desktop Speakers NZXT H440 Designed by Razer Kingston HyperX Cloud II That takes about $500 away from our build. Unites States REQUIREMENTS: 1 SSD 1 HDD $1500 INCLUDING PERPHERALS(READ ABOVE BECAUSE I ALREADY HAVE SOME COMPONENTS) Good enough build to run modern games at good fps at 1440p (Dual Monitors??) Any suggestions for my speakers, headsets, and case that I am almost certain on? Sooo... the question is... can you guys help me perfect this build??

Hey guys, im in the search for a couple of outstanding headphones. Price range: 300-400$ They are intended for gaming, but ofc also music on the side. Must have full cover large dome (not touching my ears) Looks arent that important, although the only "color theme" i would go for other than a normal black / grey ish look would be black / red. Must also be very comfortable, since i wil be using theses over 24h sessions some times I really just want the best possible audio experience! i would love to get a few possible candidates, that i can chose from ty! <3 B)

I need the perfect monitor. But I can't find it. It has to be a standard HD 1080p, but I also need built in speakers, touchscreen, fast response time/refresh rate, and displayport capabilities too. Does this even exist? I'm looking into a first build and I want a monitor that will last a long time. I've looked on what feels like every website. What monitors are similar to this, or am I asking too much?

Hi all, So I bought my first gaming PC back in about February and I got the Coolermaster Devastator Bundle with it. I do enjoy the mouse but it isn't the most comfortable nor the most accurate mouse. I play a bit, not heaps, but a bit of cs:go and I want a great experience for it. I've been looking at multiple different mice, and I've narrowed it down to my favorites which are: Coolermaster Mizer Razer Deathadder Chroma Asus ROG Gladius Cougar 700m Zowie EC2 Evo Steelseries Rival Steelseries Sensei RAW (rubber) Steelseries Sensei Pro Steelseries Kana V2 Logitech G502 Proteus Core So I like all of these, I've tried the cougar before and love it, but the other mice have either great reviews or just catch my eye and interest. When I look everywhere it's constantly, "go with a steelseries rival or a deathadder" but of course there is just so many other options. I'm not picky on colours and high DPI, but I like an ergonomic style, even though the Cougar is a lot different, it's easily customized to my needs. So what should I definitely NOT get from these, and any suggestions from experiences on which are great? Thanks heaps
