I'm hoping to eventually upgrade my CPU cooler from a Noctua NH-U12S to a 240mm NZXT Kraken AIO cooler. I'm hoping to replace the fans with the F120 RGB fans eventually as I do prefer the looks. I have the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL 16 GB (2x 8gb) ram sticks and I measured about 50mm of clearance. I did look at the thickness of the cooler with fans and it did come out a bit thicker but was wondering if anyone else tried this and if there still might be a way to make this work.

Just replaced my old crappy Cooler Master AIO with a dual fan AIO from NZXT, I bought the NZXT Kraken 240 to because my old AIO is failing. What's your thoughts on my new AIO, tell me your experiences with this model of AIO.

So I'm feeling bittersweet now that I have "built" my first computer. The truly hard part is over and after getting everything together and booting it all up it seemed fine for the most part. What I didn't understand was filled in by close friends and I think it turned out pretty decent. The one issue I had out of all of it was making sure all the fans were slotted properly onto their respective headers and are actively talking to the rest of the parts. While in some cases it doesn't matter which header some miscellaneous fans go to it does in fact ask for certain things to be in correct areas. I went with the y60 for this build and for a first time builder who gushed on some of the parts ( i have been limited to pretty poor hardware over the years for a few reasons but since I had the means I went all out), I'm finding the layout to be a bit tricky with some of the cables. I ordered 3 corsair fans for the intake and exhaust, I didn't change the stock floor fans and the aio is from nzxt. The stock cables I set to the 100% non controlled headers, and the rgb ones went to their hubs and funneled into sata cables and 2.0 usb connectors respectively. Everything works to my knowledge albeit a bit of jank but the aio seems to be in a "lights are on but nobody is home" sort of state. The little 3 hole cable is in the aio pump socket directly above the asus hexadecimal display and while its on and registering 31-33 regularly the system is running very hot. The display on the mobo climbs to high 80s and in some cases to 90. The aio is not being read, nor are its fans changing in speed to my knowledge, but their rgb features are able to be changed. I have tried putting the aios 3 pin cord into the cpu opt to try and see if anything would happen but no joy. I have since returned it to its aio dedicated slot (one pin hangs out i dont know if thats bad or not) and changed the bios to be set to DC and set it on 100%. It floats what I believe to be arbitrary numbers at me since nothing seems to have changed and i still dont have proper reads coming through. I'm hoping all of this can be solved by some cable fenagling but if not I can cross the bridge of dealing with my cable management choices in the back when we get there. Hello Was just going through my system trying to optimise cooling and performance and I noticed that the radiator fans on the AIO don't go above 1300RPM at all. I have a custom fan curve set up in my BIOS, in which above 75C CPU temp the CPU fan (and the other fans that are adjustible in the BIOS) are 100% power. But when I run a stress test, the CPU temp skyrockets up to around 83C very fast but the fans don't really ramp up that much (I know the screenshots show else, I will explain later). I looked it up, the fans are rated at 1800RPM max (+/- 300 according to NZXT) so even with the very low end of the spectrum 1300RPM is out of the range at full power. The temp doesn't exceed 85C but I'm assuming thats thermal throttling rather than cooling being efficient as thats the temp limit set in the BIOS. The numbers are according to CPUID HWMonitor. The pump (which can be controlled through NZXT CAM) ramps up as it should according to the curve, and HWmonitor detects this too as well as CAM saying it does. I attached a screenshot of HWMonitor when it's idle and under full load. I'm not sure but I think AUXFANIN2 (and chassis #4 as it is always displaying the same values) is the pump speed as it mostly matches with what CAM is saying for pump speed, and according to NZXT the pump does go up to 2800rpm. CPUFANIN and CPU I imagine would be the radiator fans? In NZXT CAM I have the three case fans which I can control and have tested, if put at 100% run at over 1600RPM according to CAM. These fans are the exact same as the ones that came with the AIO Some more info if it helps: Self built PC, isn't too old. About 2yrs old, but not used for a large amount of that due to personal issues. Yes, I remembered thermal paste. -CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X -Motherboard: ROG Strix X570-F -Have three case fans at the front, alongside the two on the AIO, all 140mm and 4 pin connectors. -I'm using a NZXT fan hub for the RGB of the AIO fans and the power and RGB of the case fans. (I think. Honestly, not 100% sure I built it years ago and theres too many cables to follow along. But if you think this could be the issue I can open up the case and have a closer look. Regarding the screenshots, I'm not sure why the one under load levelled out at such low temps. Earlier when I did it the temps were over 80C. Both times the CPU was under 100% load, although the one I just did for the screenshot the cores ran at 4.6GHz as opposed to hitting the full 4.8GHz boost clock earlier. Not sure why. Regardless, the fans were still not running near the rate they should for those temps if they were running properly based on the BIOS curve I'm really not fussed about noise under heavy load, mostly care about keeping temps down to avoid as much throttling as possible. I am wondering Phanteks Enthoo Evolve ATX TG that has kraken x62 radiator and fan mounting on top interfere with corsair vengeance ddr4 rgb or led ram? I am looking to change my Trident Z 16gb to Vengeance RGB 32gb I am using ASUS Maximum 9 Code NZXT Kraken X62

I am building a new system for my wife and I want to know if there are any ram clearance issues using the Asus Rog Strix B450-ITX with a Kraken x52 AIO inside of an NZXT H200i case. I bought a nzxt kraken x73 for my intel i9 10th gen processor. The box does not mention LGA1200 but the website does. I read some discussions that day LGA115x and 1200 are exactly same and they will fit fine. does it fit or do I have to request the mounting hardware from NZXT?

Hi everyone, I'm slowly but surely completing parts for my first build but I have some questions regarding connecting fans. My mobo has 3 headers labelled: CPU, W_PUMP, SYS. My case is nzxt h200 (no smart device) with 2 stock fans, my questions: 1. Where do I connect AIO fans ? Where do I connect case fans? Does it even matter which fan header I'll plug them to? (I have some Y splitters) 2. I'm planning to get hue+ with 1 aer rgb fan and rgb strips some time in the future. Can I chain rgb aer fan with stock one and connect them to hue+ ? Can you connect non aer rgb fans to hue+ ?

Hey everyone, I recently built my first AMD system ever. I've been building and using Intel systems ever since the early i7s and they've always been air cooled. My build has an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X at stock everything except with my memory running a D.O.C.P profile of 2988MHz. This time round I have an NZXT H440 case with three front fans acting as intakes and the 240mm NZXT Kraken cooler mounted up top pushing air out the top of the case. For some reason my liquid cooler temps are always between 37-38C, my room is quite warm - rarely ever below 28C in the evenings. In Prime95 my CPU temps max out between 77 and 78C. Does this sound normal? Could it be Precision Boost 2 doing it's thing? I've definitely applied the thermal paste (using GC Gelid Extreme) and cooler correctly - as I'm not a complete system builder noob

What’s better the NZXT kraken x62 280mm (£125) or the Cooler Master MasterLiquid lite 240mm (£47). It’s gonna cool the Ryzen 5 1600X

Hello peeps, I have a ryzen 7 1700 oc'ed to 3.8Ghz with 1.3125V vcore ans 1.2V SOC and running 2933 mhz memory. I have seen peeps run higher voltages for higher clocks on the same chip online (ryzen is supposed to run cool) but I am getting 70 C load temps running Aida 64 stress test. This makes no sense to me. People are getting this kind of temps with the included wraith cooler... not a $200 high end AIO like the Kraken x62. Specs as currently setup: Ryzen 7 1700 @ 3.8Ghz 1.3125 Vcore Asrock x370 taichi 64gb G-skill trident Z 3200 @ 2933 Corsair HX850i psu GTX 1050ti exoc @2ghz/8ghz Case: NZXT S340 white with tempered glass. Fans: All fans are Noctua NF-A14 + NF-F12 with all fan slots populated I have done 2 repastes and 5 remounts of my cooler with no major change. I am using Arctic cooling MX-4 thermal compound. I know I live in Australia and the ambiant temps are around 35 C but a delta T over ambient of 35 C with liquid cooling seems off. My highly overclocked 1050ti runs around 66C which is aircooled. Pls halp.

This one cost me nothing, and with a box full of old AIO parts and an old impulse buy ebay CPU waterblock I've decided to put some real crap together for everyone's enjoyment (or disgust.) Here is the chinesium hardware screwed through the back of the original backplate and Mobo. The CPU plate mounted with the supplied springs and thumbscrews.

Hey Guys, I've done an airflow analysis on the nzxt s340, which has space for up to 4 fans. I don't know if it's right, that's why I'm asking you. If I put a 280 mm rad in the front (which has 2 x 140 mm fans), 1 x 120 mm fan in the rear and 1 x 120 mm fan at the top, will I get a negative air pressure? I've been working with the information that even if there are 2 x 140 mm fans on a 280 mm rad, that the airflow is reduced by half due to the radiator. By that logic, the two fans on the rad would bring the same result as one single fan. With that in mind, will a 280 mm rad (potential airflow of one fan) and 2 other fans result in a negative air pressure? Or is the information that I gathered about the radiator, that the airflow is cut by half, false? P.S the fans on the 280 rad are set as intake, the two other 120 mm fans are set as exhaust

So, unfortunately I got a red Kraken G10 GPU bracket for my 780ti and that red bracket looks completely mismatch for the black and gold theme that ASUS had going with the Haswell line-up. Now I have an extra Kraken X60 lying around for the 780ti which I won't install until I get the red bracket a makeover. So here lies the problem, HOW DO I REPAINT THIS METAL? Carrying forward the same theme, I have decided to paint the bracket into a nice goldenrod shade with a custom sticker replacing the existing NZXT branding. but HOW DO I DO IT? I have no knowledge in painting metal, what paint would I need? what kind of primer? will I need to sand the surface off first? and how do I make a sticker to replace the NXZT branding? Anyone with knowledge in this subject please help me. My entire system has been built and this is the only that is remaining. Thank You
