Hello everyone, I'm making my first configurarion ever and I'm kinda stuck in picking the right CPU and case. I can't decide between Ryzen 7 3700x and Ryzen 9 3900x. For case I found NZXT H500 for acceptable price, but I'm not sure will I have temperature problems. I intend to use my new PC for gaming and for other purposes, like programming. My configuration: CPU: 3700x or 3900x MOBO: MSI B450 Tomahawk GPU: MSI RTX 2070 Super Gaming X 8GB DDR6 RAM: 2x8GB Kingston HyperX Fury 3.200MHz DDR4 SSD: 500GB Samsung Evo 860 PSU: Corsair Modular TX750M 750W Gold 80 Case: NZXT H500 Prices for CPU: 3700x - 340€ 3900x - 580€ Is it worth to give 240€ for 3900x? I'm building for long term (5 years minimum). Also, will NZXT 500 be good enough? Since it's much cheaper in my country than some popular mesh cases. I stumbled upon Inter-tech and Abconkore, but I can't find adequate information about their quality. I am in the market to buy a new case, of which I've narrowed down to NZXT's H500 and Fractal Design's Meshify C. I'd like to ask people who have been using NZXT's H500 regarding airflow and dust. Negative air pressure builds dust in the case. How fast does the dust buildup relative to your other cases experience? Is it an issue I should be worried about? How often do you clean the dust in your system? For reference, I will be running Ryzen 5 2600, with Cryorig H7 and a GTX 1070ti Zotac. Also, white H500 users, have your case experienced any form of yellowing? Thanks!

What steps do I need to coat this with white paint? I wanted to do a theme of black and white, And attaching some rgb fans to easily blend in whatever color I want. Please list the materials I need and steps to take.

Hello I got all the parts for my new PC yesterday. I got an NZXT H500 case, and the motherboard is an Asus ROG STRIX Z390-F. It has a built in IO-shield, something I have never had to deal with before. I just can't install it properly. The "middle" standoff is maybe just 1-3mm from being installed properly, but I just can't push it any further. When I have the mobo down inside the case It looks like It has been properly installed from the outside, but obviously I can't screw it down because the standoffs are millimeters from being aligned properly. Hello guys, So basically, I have two issues here and I hope you can help me with them. My knowledge on setups is quite a bit elementary so I would appreciate your help and patience in explaining some things to me. (1) TEMPS ISSUE: I have a mid-range setup which I use for some video editing and light gaming. Currently, I'm using Ryzen 5 2600x in a MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC Motherboard, with 16 GB of RAM (8x2) at 3200 MHz. I also have an ASUS ROG Strix 1070 ti for my GPU. For the cooler of my processor, I am using the Wraith Spire cooler (stock that comes with 2600x). I have been having problems with the temperatures lately. My temps reach abou 90C in Aida64 stress tests. Then recently, while rendering a 2-hour video in Vegas, my temps reach 88C. 3 minutes into Handbrake (for encoding), I got as high as 90C. My idle temps has been playing around mid-40s to mid 50s. I'm not entirely sure if this is normal. I browsed in other forums (Tom's Hardware) and it seems that it was a common problem to other 2600x users but I couldn't find any explanation as to why and whether it's normal. The current setup of my case (NZXT H500) is that I have 2 intake fans on the front, 1 exhaust fan on top, and another exhaust at the back). (2) Installing NZXT X52 on my NZXT H500 case. Given the temps, I recently purchased a liquid AIO for my computer. After all, I'm gonna be using it for video and audio editing quite frequently. Could you give me some advice as to how the fan placement in my radiator should be? I have a couple of questions in mind. 2.a. From most builds I see, the fans in the radiator are installed as intake, placed in between the radiator and the front cover of the case. That is to say Radiator>Intake Fans>Front Part of Case. Is this correct? 2.b. Since the NZXT x52 came in with two fans and since I also have 2 NZXT fans that came in with the case, do you think I should do a push-pull configuration? If so, could anyone explain to me how is this set up? Would it be like Fans>Radiator>Detachable Bracket>Fans? 2.c. If I don't do a push-pull configuration, and just have intake fans for my radiator, should I keep my 2 exhaust fans at the back? Or should I make the one on top as intake, and retain the one at the back as exhaust? Thanks in advance for your patience.

Hey peeps, I wanna do a case swap for my girlfriends rig. Ive thought about getting her a nzxt h500 case which supports a 280mm radiator on the front, which i was thinking of getting a nzxt kraken x62 for it I prob plan to overclock her cpu at a later stage. Her specs atm I7 6850k Noctua nh-d15 Asus X99-deluxe II 1x 16gb ram @ 2133mhz Asus strix gtx 1080 All in a aerocool battlehawk case I wanna just change the case and swap the d15 cooler for a water cooler Also for overclocking her cpu, i want to get a steady 4ghz on the cpu like it used to do when it was in my system (legit ran at 4ghz steadily from first time boot), fir some reason the clock spd keeps fluctuating and it just annoys me as it never used to do that. So is there a way to clock it so that it will just sit at 4ghz, ive never overclocked before and would like some help just to have the cpu push to 4ghz for now only Please help

I did not hear an audio notification that plays on Windows 10 devices when a USB device is connected. I unplugged the device only to find that on the USB cable itself was the purple receptacle in the port (shown in the picture.) After realizing this, I noticed my computer was frozen. I shut my computer off, and since that night my PC hasn't been able to turn on when I hit the power button. All that happens when I press the power button is that the fans in the PC start to spin and the orange light on my motherboard turns on for just a second, but then everything turns off. This will keep repeating until I hold down the power button again. Sometimes, the orange light comes back on and the fans start to spin again for a bit longer, but then they stop shortly after. I've had no problems with power or startup until the USB port broke. I have tried to disconnect the cable that connects to the USB 3.0 slot on my motherboard, but nothing changes. There isn't a USB 2.0 connector connected to my motherboard either. I've also tried disconnecting my PC from power, holding down the power button for 10 seconds, and letting my PC sit for 10 minutes before trying to boot again. I've also tried to clear the CMOS by using a screwdriver to touch the two "clear CMOS" pins on the motherboard for 5-10 seconds; my motherboard doesn't have a jumper pin. The front USB cables were disconnected from the motherboard for all of these attempts. NZXT support is supposed to ship me a replacement module for the front panel, but since the above methods haven't worked, I'm worried that there may be problems with my motherboard. Is there anything I can do to solve this issue? Thanks for the help.

Hi, I have decided to build a PC with the following configuration: Intel I5-8400: I haven't had a good experience with AMD on my last pc. MSI z370-A pro: I'm choosing z370 just in case if I want to change my CPU to an unlocked one. Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB founders edition: suits my budget NZXT H500: Choosing because of good reviews as it keeps GPU temperature low 2666 C15-16 RAM: Should I chooose any specific one? Corsair TXM 550watt: seems good enough to me Samsung lc24fg70: 1ms response time as well as 144hz I'll be using the pc for some gaming as well as some personal projects. I may run VMs on it. What do you think of this build? please share you views. Also, if possible could you suggest me alternate screen? I do not sit far away from screen, 1920*1080 resolution on a 24" screen looks good to me. Also, If I decide that I won't be using an unlocked CPU, which motherboard would be good? Does gaming variation of motherboards have any advantage? In my area temperature goes as high as 45-48 degrees in summer. Should air cooler be sufficient or should I invest in a liquid cooler? Thanks
