Can I use Predator Sense to Overclock GeForce GTX 1650ti mobile?

My nitro 5 randomly turns unresponsive, but external monitor, mouse and keyboard works fine. when I press hard on the keyboard the screen and the keyboard suddenly works. received_1199504270582323.mp4

Hello everybody, how is it going? Yesterday I bought an Acer Nitro 5, Intel core i7 11800H and RTX 3060 Laptop GPU. sadly I have 2 problems with it so far and I think it's BIOS related and might be fixable: 1. it doesn't seem to undervolt at all: I downloaded "ThrottleStop" and in the FIVR submenu, the "Unlock Adjustable Voltage" was locked. so I googled a bit and learned it's BIOS locked in Nitro. So I unlocked it, and no matter what offset voltage I choose it has 0 effect neither at the temps nor at the performance. the sliders go all the way to -1000 mV and the laptop won't crash... the XTU doesn't even open with no errors, just doesn't open 2. Windows 11 is pre-installed and I hate it, so I tried to downgrade to Windows 10, and somehow the SSD won't show in the installation process nor in CMD\DiskPart. Yet it shows in BIOS and in Windows 11 and everythis is OK, I even tried to create a VHD and attaching it during the installation process, and the VHD shows up in the installation (did this cause I thought my USB flash or the Windows copy were defective). Tried to google this issue with no luck. If anybody knows what could be the issue (especially the 2nd) I'd really appreciate it. SSD: NVMe WDC PC SN530 SDBPNPZ-1T00-114 Hope you all have a nice day

I'm trying to factory reset my acer nitro 5, and I keep getting this error, I already contacted acer about it, obviously they could not help, anyone else knows how to go about this?

Hello! I have a 2018 Acer Nitro 5 that is missing its LCD screen. The motherboard still works... so I would still like to use for something like a network media server, NAS, or remote desktop into it to run graphically intensive workloads. I know how to completely disassemble the laptop and remove the motherboard.... but I am unable to find out how to turn it on without the keyboard being attached (Power button is on the keyboard) and when I power it on while in its case plugged up to another monitor.... it will not show a BIOS post screen. When the display was still working on this computer I remembered that when there is no operating system or drive installed on the motherboard it will immediately display on post that "no boot device was detected" and will hang there until I pressed the power button. I noticed that the same thing was happening here. So I plugged in a bootable Ubuntu drive and was able to boot into it! However, I was not able to get far with Ubuntu.... since the GUI never loaded in. If someone could point me in the right direction here it will be much appreciated! I have nitro 5 2020 AN515-55-56R2 can I put Intel optane in it? I've researched Intel optane and I find it cheap and fast. I also learned that it's only available to use in motherboards that supports it.

Can I switch from 4 cores 8 threads to 3 core's 6 threads freely? Or any other threads? For temperature and battery conservation.

Hi guys, I am looking for a ssd that would fit into my laptop. ACER Nitro 5 AN515-52-70NF I want to replace 16gb of Intel optane memory with ssd m.2 disk. But i am not sure if its compatible with m.2 NVMe or m.2 Sata and i dont know which one to choose. Thank your for your help.

i was 18 when i started saving cash for buying a Gaming rig, After 3 hard years of part time jobs and building rigs as a side gig and literally using public transit to save money on Petrol (gas) and some money from my mom (yup you would have guessed it, im Asian). I Bought the ACER Nitro 5 AN515-42. Linus dropped a video on it and it looked good i am a viewer since my school days. PS. I aint gonna say Linus is BAD, he was the reason what i am now and i am still a great fan ...but i trusted him wholly. but this is something that comes with time. AMD was killing it with Ryzen and thing's were going good. It did cost more in my country but whatever, i did it . (Picture for reference, not mine) Within One Month of usage, i notice 2 identical lines on the bottom Lower back of the lid since it was symmetrical i just shrugged it off thinking it was some design. Then after 2 months i started hearing small clicks sometimes when i opened the lid i was confused and now the 2 lines has become very noticeable. I take it to the service center all i was told was "change lid, Hinge, and Warranty not covered since its Physical" BUT Here's what triggers me I hardly take my laptop off the table No movement was given to in other than CLOSING and OPENING the LID, i always do the ritual i.e no one sided opening, soft lid closure.. well it was 3 years of savings you can guess how i would have cared for it. I leave the place smiling.. Thanks to introvert meself. Months passed i rarely close the Lid and suddenly one day the hinges GAVE AWAY it was like POP and a crackle...... well my warranty expired, I felt so bad "i bought this upon myself, i should have researched more while buying, orr....did i not handle this properly, did i do something wrong" Thanks to my fate LOCKDOWN happened i moved back to home town, and MY mom was so close to disown me when she saw it. Hi, I want to upgrade RAM on my machine to 32gb or if got a good deal then 64gb. It's ddr4 3200mhz. I am looking for low latency ram. Which is difficult to find for high speed laptops. I'm using windows 11, bios update 1.10 (latest). The professor is AMD Ryzen 7 5800h (AMD Ryzen master) is not opening showing error processor is not supported!! I've tried a lot of combinations none of them worked. If you can give me some tip to get overclock menu in bios that will be extremely useful. Let me know if you need anymore info.

Forgive me I'm a total noob but this is my laptop:- AMD Ryzen 5 3550H GFX 2.10GHz 16gig Ram Windows home 10 64bit I know this may seem small to some however I suffer from a little OCD which then types my anxiety through the roof and I don't think I can take this much longer without at least trying to find a way to change it. The laptop is great apart from this sentence cursor (I don't even know what this line is called "|" that flashes as your idle before typing) flashes in the bottom left corner of the screen when the screen is dark there or in full view while watching YouTube or a movie. I have attached a screenshot, I tried to Google for it but I couldn't find anything ><. As I said I am a complete noob so please be gentle with me lol.

So i just got a ntro 5 with a ryzen 5 3550h and a rx560x, and i updated the amd software to adrenalin 2020, but rn while playing league i found that it hasnt even touched the dedicated graphics. ic had the laptop pluged in, on high performance, even added the game in the adrenaline software but no help :\

Hello everyone, am looking for a new, all purpose laptop, (Light gaming, some coding, video editing *non color critical*, some networking stuff) I was wandering around sites looking and stumbled across the Acer 5 nitro, on their page it has a new, ryzen 3550h with Radeon 560x at 669$ USD. Was looking for more info, and thoughts from nitro owners and general comments about Acer build quality (have had Lenovo, fell and hp) in the past. Looking to stay sub 700$ USD, and my almost first choice was Asus vivobook ryzen 3500u, I know it's not as good. But I think it might work and is more portable. Thanks all.

So I bought an Acer Nitro 5 last year and everything was fine until one month ago or so. The battery last less than an hour if Im seeing a series or something like that, I ve already tried to recalibrate the battery but it stiil doing the same thing. Should I call for the warranty or what do you guys recommend me to do? Thanks

Im currently looking for a laptop to use for my study engineering. The budget is around 900€. The requirements are that i can do 3d modeling, write essays, easily take it from home to school and maybe some light gaming. I currently still have my pc with an gtx 1070 and i5 6600k so the laptop isn't going to be my main rig for heavy workloads. The maximum size is 15,6 inches as thats what fits into my bag. I still have 8Gb sodimm ddr4 lying around to put into a laptop of needed. The laptop that i have found that fits these criteria the best is the acer nitro 5 AN515-54-51M5 With the gtx 1650 it should handle 3d/cad pretty well. There are however other configurations and im here to ask if those might be better or if there are other laptops i should be taking a look at. Thanks for taking the time to read

Ok so i recently bought a acer nitro 5, it's good to use but recently i ran into a bit of a problem. When ever i start to use my GPU ( Mobile 1050Ti ), my laptop shuts down automatically and takes a few minutes to restart the screen just goes black no BSoD no crash reports directly just shuts down. This happens only if i use my Nvidia gpu the laptop works well if i use the intel integrated graphics. I thought it was a heating issue so i cleaned the fans and applied new thermal paste but the issue stays the same. Anyone here has any ideas ? Also its been only 7 months since i bought my laptop. TL;DR :- Laptop keeps shutting down when the GPU is used.

So I had question regarding my laptop's ram upgrade, my Acer nitro 5 has a default 8gb cl-17 2666 MHz stick but it is locked at 2400 MHz so i was wondering would it be ok to put a 2400mhz cl-17 or 2666mhz cl-19 as my ram upgrade
