I have been experiencing this for about 4 months. It happens while I play games or launch any other application that puts the GPU to work. 5 minutes(or less) in the app, and my PC goes into a black screen state while the audio is stuttering, after about 10-15 seconds it restarts, but goes directly to the black screen, unless I change the PCI-E slot it won't display anything. The only temporary fix I've found so far to be effective for a short period of time is swapping the PCI-E slot everytime I encounter the crash. It then works normally for around 1 week at most and it starts crashing again. I tried reinstalling windows, tried a different game, I've reset the bios, nothing works. Currently my components aren't overclocked, they are running at stock values. PC Specs ------------- OS: Windows 10 Pro x64-bit BIOS Version: 7A37v17(same bios before the crashing began) MOBO: MSI B350M Mortar CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz RAM: 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance PRO 3000 MHz GPU: Sapphire NITRO+ RX 580 PSU: SeaSonic S12II-520W SSD: ADATA XPG SX6000 128GB(boot) HDD: WD Blue 1TB(storage) -------------------------------------------------- I've also attached the dump file. Memory dump can be found here 032520-16468-01.dmp 032620-18937-01.dmp 032620-19000-01.dmp

I have been getting Kernel-Power ID 41 critical error restarts and ESENT errors like crazy, I have posted about it three times but have never gotten help, I figured that was from a lack of information, so I decide to compile even more and maybe someone can help... At this point even just someone telling me what parts I need to replace would be helpful. Sorry if I sound desperate... but I am. Thanks for the help. I have posted twice (Now three times) about Kernel-Power ID 41 on this forum and so far after a few posts back and forth the thread dies. This time I have collected everything and hopefully this will get fixed/solved. So here goes nothing: Full Specs: OS: Windows 8.1 (64-bit) CPU: Intel i7 3770 (Taken from Pre-Built in late 2014. Came with pre-built in 2012) CPU Cooler: Corsair H90 (Purchased in late 2014) (Thermal Paste on Corsair H90 used) GPU: Asus Strix 970 (Purchased late 2014) MOBO: ASRock z77 extreme4 lga-1155 (Purchased late 2014) HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB (Moved to new PC late 2014. Came with pre-built in 2012) Ram: Pny XLR8 16gb (8*2) 1600mhz (XMP profile turned on) (Purchased and installed 2014) Monitors: BenQ XL2420Z (Bought April 2015), Asus VN247H-P (Bought late 2014). Mouse: Corsair M65 RGB (Corsair Utility Engine installed) (Bought late 2014) Keyboard: WASD keyboard’s 104-key w/ Cherry MX Browns (Bought late 2014) Headphones: Beyerdynamic dt 770 PRO 80ohm (Purchased late 2014) Audio Interface: PreSonus AudioBox iTwo (Purchased early 2015) Microphone: PreSonus M7 (Purchased in early 2015) Webcam: Logitech C270 (Purchased in 2012) No overclocks have ever been applied. Solutions I have tried with no success: Some people have talked (and I have done) about disabling some things with java and flash player, I don’t remember what they were but they didn’t work.
