Have any of you seen an m.2 to pcie adapter that can accommodate a double sided heatsink? The m.2 ports on my motherboard are 8mm from the pcb to the top of the m.2 connector. They have plenty of clearance between the motherboard and ssd, which allows me to use a double sided heatsink. I believe they are either 6.7H or 8.5H as seen in this photo: I also own several m.2 to pcie adapters, but all of them use a much shorter m.2 connector. Most of them are 2.5mm tall. I have one that is 4mm tall, but is is for sata, not nvme. Background info: I recently purchased a Sabrent ssd (SB-RKT4P-2TB) and installed it into port M2_3 of my MSI EK Carbon X570S motherboard using the stock (single sided) heatsink. The drive would crash frequently (chkdsk would report it as RAW) but upon reboot, it usually reappeared just fine. (GPT partitions did not report any errors, Sabrent Rocket app tests would all pass). I purchased the Sabrent double sided heatsink (SB-HTSS) and the drive has been rock solid ever since. I really like that heatsink. I track the temperatures in Aquasuite, and that heatsink does a fantastic job keeping the temperatures stable and cool (43C). I would like to move this 2TB ssd to the PCI_E4 port of my motherboard so I can take full advantage of the 4.0 speeds. The chipset is 3.0 speeds, and the M2_1 port is already occupied with another 4.0 speed SSD. I bought the Sabrent m.2-PCIe adapter, but I was highly disappointed in it. What I would love to find is an adapter that can accommodate the Sabrent double sided heatsink, have you any of you run across an adapter that used one of these taller m.2 connectors?

Would a dark rock 4 fit in an RG4T? on the specs of the case max cooler height is 159mm, which is the exact height of the DR4. I don't want the cooler to scratch the tempered glass of the case.

Hi, Amazingly it took me _forever_ to figure out why the Samsung M.2 NVME SSD did not fit well in m2_1 slot on the Asus Crosshair VII. Turns out you need to swap out the 2280 standoff vs. the one in one of the bags that come with the motherboard AND that those 2 bags dont have the same height standoff included. Meaning you have to check out both of them. As this totally seems like an issue where you should find the info on the internet...here we go! (Hope to help other crosshair users.)

Hi everyone! My case, the Corsair RGB 220t Airflow has a maximum CPU cooler height of 160mm. The CPU cooler that I want to order is 158mm+3mm for the cromax heat sink cover. Normally,. I would avoid this because its too tall. However, On PcPartPicker, I saw a build with the same parts, and it looked like it fit. If someone could give me some advice here it will be much appreciated. It's kind of a strange request, but if somebody knows or has Rog Strix z370-G could you please tell me the hight of it, as I couldn't find it anywhere and it is important for me to know if my new 140 mm radiator will fit with it in my mAtx case; Thank you very much!

Hello LTT-Forum! I am a happy owner of an i5-3570k in an In Win 703 Case, and I've recently found a good offer on the Noctua NH-U14S, and I've been trying to google around as much as I could before coming here. Issue being: Some says (Noctua for example) it's 165mm tall with the fan, and some says it's 178mm? While the case says it only supports 160mm, but I know it can support 170mm cause of the bit of extra space the outwards bulging window. Anyone with same case and cooler, or better with google? Thanks for the help, on beforehand.

Hello, Does anybody know the height of the PCI-e slots on a motherboard? I've been searching for a while now and can't find an answer. Hopefully somebody can help me out.

I ordered a bitfenix pandora (set to arrive tomorrow 2/23) and I also ordered an MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GD5T OC today (here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127833&cm_re=gtx_970-_-14-127-833-_-Product) and the GPU height (not length) seems to be within the limits according to some sources but with the PCIE pin connected to the gpu (which will add another 5/8ths of an inch) I wanted to know if I should cancel my order and get something a bit shorter, although the card seems to be barely taller than the pci bracket on the back, making it reasonably low profile. I can't really find good information on case limited GPU height, any help is much appreciated.

Hi. So a while ago I've figured out that the Dell U2414H is the only 1080p & IPS monitor that has the full range of motions. If you know another monitor that does as well please let me know. I wanted two monitors that had those adjustments, so I originally planned to get two of those monitors, but I'm now thinking that since this is $250, I should find a cheaper second monitor. (To be clear, I'm still going to be buying on of the Dells, but a different second monitor.) So I was thinking I'll either have to comprimise and get a second monitor that probably won't be the same height as the first one or get a monitor of a different aspect ratio. So for this thread, I want to ask: Since other 1080p & IPS monitors don't have height adjust, what IPS monitors can I find that are 4:3 or 5:4 that have the full range of motions/adjustments? I'm not sure on the desired resolution yet. I'm thinkin' 1600x1200. (Also, if there IS another monitor that's 1080p and IPS that has height adjust, please let me know. I'm just not making it the main question of this thread because I've already asked it here before.)

Hi, I'm trying to decide what dxracer chair to get, but I'm having trouble deciding. I'm a pretty small guy (5'10" and around 120 lbs), so if you have any advice I'm all ears. P.S. I'm really interested in it either being green or being black with green accents.

So here's the thing. I've bought Corsair Graphite 230T case, and the case by itself is amazing, honestly. As far as I can read on the box, and the website even the maximum CPU cooler is 165mm. The thing is, at first I chose Cooler Master 212 EVO cooler - which fits perfectly in the case, but then I saw Deepcool Lucifer and I was trully amazed, so I decide to get it instead of the 212 EVO. However, I've made some researches, I read some reviews and what I saw was that, the dimensions of the Lucifer cooler are 165mm WITHOUT a fan, which is the max for my case, then I saw that the dimensions WITH a fan are 3mm more. So what I am asking is - will I fit the Lucifer in my case or not. Is there anyway that I can make him fit WITHOUT making holes, or cut the case, whatsoever. The other thing is, can't I just move the fan little bit down on the cooler so I can fit it in? P.S.Please, only people have an idea, or have done something similar to say wether I can fit it or not. I really want to know as quick as possible. We all know that we can read, and from what we've read, we see that we can't, theoretically... P.S2. (I am not being rude, it's just something that's important to me, so I have to be sure.)

I'm planning to build my pc next week and I have planned and researched every component for about 5 months now and I'm still not sure what memory to buy.. Mainly because of the height of the memory, the cooler will be a Scythe Mugen 4 PCGH and I was thinking to buy a 16gb vengeance kit. Will this fit underneath it and do you guys have other suggestions? Thanks! Hello friends, so lately i have been really self conscious about my height, as my friends are starting to ridicule me about being 165cm tall, or short or 5'5. At first I took it as a joke, but now I am really getting concerned, I started looking up on the internet if my height is short and if i will get taller, but only have been disappointed. It is now starting to take a psychological effect on me, as i am contemplating and thinking about my height all the time, getting sad, and getting angry. I really do not want to get into depression over this matter, but considering how much i have been thinking about it, it seems as something that might occur. I am 15 years old, have not grown since 12 years of age. where i had a huge growth spurt between 10-12 but then stopped. Only one growth spurt has occurred though. at age 13 I start shaving (my facial hair) chest hair at the age of 14 and now 15 still got facial hair. Still got the chest hair and tons of under arm hair. I am taller than both my parents, not sure of the heights of each but I am sure i am taller. I am unable to talk to this to my father as he left me at the age of 3, saw him at the 14 for only one hour, so couldn't really do much. Anyway will i get taller? Please tell me. This is starting to drive me insane, I have really started to notice me just constantly thinking of my height. I have had nights where i contemplate suicide, thinking i will never find a girl who likes me as most females like men taller than my height and consider my height "too short". But i just really need to know if i will get taller, I would love to hear that, however please also do tell me the truth. Sorry for such a long thing, I have no excuse, I just really need an answer. Thanks in advanced. Also I am on a europe trip right now and will be coming back home soon. Where i will be changing my diet around. Going to start eating a lot of tuna tins and sesame seeds and drink a lot more milk, will this allow me to grow taller? I mean a 15 year old couldn't of stopped growing right? Hell all I check the forum search and it seems there hasn't been a topic on it yet so i thought id bring it up because I was curios.So my question to you guys is do you like using the flip up stands on the bottom of your keyboard or do you run it stock flat on your desk. I would also like to here your opinion as to why you like it the way you have it. Thanks and I hope to spark some conversation!

Will a cooler with a height of 165mm fit in a case that supports a cooler with a height up to 165mm? Node 304 and Noctua U14S for example, I'm just wondering not buying.
