Good evening y'all... it's been a hell of a day troubleshooting, and with nothing but failure, I've come with my tail between my legs here. Starting with the specs: 5800X3D with an Arctic Liquid Freezer 240 (solid temps) Sapphire Nitro+ 7900 XTX (solid temps, latest driver, all three cables are dedicated separately from psu) Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite Wifi (latest UEFI BIOS, SAM enabled) G.SKILL Ripjaws V 2x16 GB 3600 MHz 16-19-19-39 (XMP on) Silicon Power P34A80 1 TB PCIe 3 boot drive/general use (good self test) Crucial P5 2 TB PCIe 3 game library/extra storage (good self test) be quiet! Straight Power 11 1200w 80+ plat Win 11 pro (latest update, repair installed today too) 2 1440p panels, keychron keeb, razer basilisk mouse, fifine mic, speakers, headphones, fractal meshify c case with plenty of airflow This thing is an absolute beast, getting fantastic framerates in games... for about 1-15 minutes, whereupon it'll inevitably hard crash with black screens and loud stuttery audio into a restart. Games include Baldur's Gate 3, Halo Infinite, Splitgate, Fortnite (just to see if it was Steam specific), Deep Rock Galactic, Hogwarts Legacy, etc, with Discord open, maybe a chrome tab or two. Nothing is overclocked, unless you count PBO (is that even a thing with the X3D?), XMP, and default GPU boost. SFC, memtest (100% coverage of all 32gigs), full OCCT suite, FurMark with Prime95, Video Card Stability Test, and 3DMark CPU profile all pass with flying colors. The only benchmark I've run that errors out is 3DMark TimeSpy... which exhibits the exact same hard crash behavior. All drivers on the system are as up to date as possible. Even disabled virtualization as a hail mary. CPU was replaced today from a 5800X, RAM was replaced last week from a similar kit with looser timings(that did help a little, hard crashes no longer deep fry my screen while my pc dies, and they gave my girlfriend's system a stroke when swapped in), video card was replaced a couple months ago from a 3090 (drivers were DDU'ed)... but none of that seems to have fixed the stability of this system. If anything, it's consistently bad at this point. tldr: I'm losing my mind trying to find the ghost in my machine. Any ideas, guys? edit: WhoCrashed doesn't pull up any error logs for the crashes

Ever since I installed the Sapphire R9 Fury (non X) graphics card I have been experiencing abrupt reboots to my computer when gaming. I have tried upgrading to the latest bios, reinstalling Windows, uninstalling drivers using DDU, and trying multiple drivers provided by AMD (to be specific: Crimson ReLive Edition 17.1.1, 16.12.2,16.11.4, and even the Catalyst 15.7) and still no luck. The games I normally play are Heroes of the Storm, Battlefield 1, and Dishonored 2. For Heroes of the Storm it normally reboots in the middle of the game and sometimes at the beginning. I have not confirmed this but when turning down the settings; the PC did not restart for the rest of the round (I will report back when I get the chance to play again). For Battlefield 1, it has caused my computer to reboot itself during the campaign but never has it done so when playing PVP (even on ultra). Dishonored 2 is the most disappointing one as it reboots as soon as the start menu loads up. I have also tried verifying the files and reinstalling these games but the same thing still happens. The normal temperature I’d get from Battlefield 1 on ultra is around 80C. I have just recently put it under Heaven (benchmark software) for four hours and it’s fine. However, whenever I use Furmark, both monitors would sometimes go black after 15 minutes and has caused the computer to reboot once. Both software have caused the R9 Fury to rise up to 80C-85C. I have also tried using a PSU testing device and everything seems to run fine according to the picture below. However, I am not sure if this a valid test as I believe it is unable to test the PSU under a heavy load as it's required that I hook the cable only to the device shown in the picture provided when using it. I am running out of options as this is the second R9 Fury I have tried and both have the exact same issue. So just last night, I upgraded to a Ryzen 3600 on a MSI B450 Tomahawk motherboard with DDR4 3200. My PC was gaming absolutely fine yesterday. However, today upon launching any game, sometimes my PC hard locks instantly, and other times I can play for about 5 minutes before my screen goes black and then my monitor proceeds to tell me that it is going to sleep. I'm given no error message, no BSOD, no nothing. It just hard crashes, I can hear the audio continuously loop, and the only way I get it to stop is by holding down the power button. I know this isn't detailed at all but I really have no fucking idea what is causing this crash. If anyone has run into this issue or has any possible idea please help, this has been the absolute upgrade from hell. I've tried updated graphics drivers and updated the bios. Thanks!

To start, here are my specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 MOBO: ASRock B450 Pro4 RAM: Crucial Sport LT 16GB DDR4 Graphics Card: MSI GTX 970 PSU: EVGA 80+ Certified 430W Storage: Intel 660p M.2 SSD I have a very weird issue with a PC I just built. I put together the PC and was able to install Windows 10. Windows 10 then successfully booted, but after a few seconds of running, the PC crashed. I've had this same problem with another PC I built in the past, but the only component I am using from the old PC is the GPU. Some more info: After the PC crashes, it will turn back on (lights and all) but it won't display anything. The fans on the CPU rev and derev in a sort of 2 second cycle. Very weird. The PC won't crash when in the BIOS Things I have already tried: Moving the SSD to a different M.2 slot Reapplying thermal paste to the CPU Stress testing the GPU in another system (it didn't crash) Using a different GPU Using different RAM Using a different SSD Using a hard drive instead Using three different power supplies (all with enough headroom Wattage-wise) Reinstalling Windows 10 (four different times, now) Using different RAM slots Based on the list up there, the issue can't be: The GPU, because I stressed tested it in another system, and I tried using a different GPU in the system. The SSD, because I tried using a different SSD and tried using a hard drive as well The RAM, because I tried using different RAM (and I tested my own in another system) The PSU, because I have used three different power supplies, and I've had the same issues across the board Overheating, I have a fresh coat of thermal paste on the CPU and monitored it's temperature in the BIOS (39C maximum so far) Incorrect RAM slot, because for one: it actually starts up, and for two: I tried every slot on the board What it might be: CPU MOBO This is a very weird problem, and I don't know how to fix it. I ordered a new motherboard and it will be here tomorrow. Any ideas?

Hi guys.I have my brand new computer and one day i tried to play Final Fantasy XV, but while it is loading and then goes into the game just 5 to 10 mins in it just hard crash like pc hangs and no response to keyboard i have to resort to hard resetting the pc via the restart button on the case ,after that the pc reboots with the famous kernel power 41 error id 63.I've played The Withcer 3, Overwatch and Crysis 3,warframe and i have the same problem. The System: CASE - NZXT S340 Elite (White) CPU COOLING - CRYORIG H7 MOTHERBOARD - ASUS Prime X370-PRO ATX AM4 GPU - Gigabyte AORUS GeForce GTX 1070Ti 8G CPU - AMD - RYZEN 5 1600 3.2GHz 6-Core POWER SUPPLY - Seasonic Focus Plus 850W 80+ Gold RAM - G.SKILL TridentZ Series RGB 3200 Mhz 16GB (2 x 8GB) (Running 2400 I believe) STORAGE - SAMSUNG 960 EVO 250GB M.2 STORAGE - Seagate Barracuda 2TB EXTRA - Gigabyte WIFI Bluetooth Adapter EXTRA - NZXT USB Expansion EXTRA - NZXT HUE+ SOFTWARE - MICROSOFT Windows 10 Home 64 bit The Preface: I want to preface this with a disclaimer for myself, I know very little about building my own pc and this was going to be the project in which I learned and built my own. GPU prices skyrocketed and I gave up and switched to NZXT and their BLD service to get it done for me since they still retained the msrp pricing for the most part and I was lacking the time to sit down and build one myself as well. I included just about every component inside the system minus the case fans and my wifi/bluetooth gigabyte pci-e card. The pc is running off of a surge protector power-strip as well, in case that is needed information for anything. So far the BLD service people have concluded my issue as a possible problem with a bent CPU cooler, which I have the replacement for and will replace as soon as I can, but I believe that the cooler causing the problem is very unlikely as the temperatures seem adequate and neither the CPU or GPU ever approach any thermal cutoff. The problem: I'll try to keep this short because I know long posts are a hassle. The pc boots just fine and on a good day it will run without any issues but when it doesn't is a hassle. From what I can tell, it doesn't matter what processes I am undergoing whether it be gaming or just monitoring LED lighting within the software, the system hard crashes or rarely it will full reset. It seems like the only component that loses power during this is the GPU because almost every time the lights shut off on it while every other light in the system remains on the previous settings, even my keyboard and mouse retain their lighting. The case fans and CPU fans typically increase their rpm and sound like a jet screeching across the sky. As far as I can tell, all of the components "work" and nothing stands out as specifically wrong. My bios is on an old version (0515 I believe) but as many of my drivers as I have been able to check have been fully up to date. I'm honestly kind of afraid of trying to update the bios because of this issue, I'd rather keep from chancing a bricked mobo. When the pc does this, the power button doesn't have any control to turn the system the rest of the way off and the only way to power it down is by switching the PSU off. Which I'm sure isn't great for it.
