Okay, so I am probably not the first to ask this. Is there a way through an adapter or some sort to connect the USB Type C cable from the front panel to power rather than to the motherboard? Most ITX boards don't have a USB 3.1 Type E connection on the board unless you want to fork over a bit more money. I am currently looking a inexpensive ITX for a build in a H210. To get a Type E connection on the board, I would have to nearly double the price of the board. Researching shows that you can connect it to a PCI-E card, but because it is an ITX mobo, that really is not an option. I have also seen a video where a guy built a computer with an M.2 adapter with a PCI-E card and sata power, but it was REALLY JANKY(see video below). I am wondering if there is a way to connect the cord to sata for power. At the end of the day, I could care less about the data, but power delivery would a benefit just so the connection does not go to waste. Alternatively, I would consider if there a test USB 3.0 20-pin splitter where where one end goes to the USB Type A cord and other end goes to a 20-pin to the Type C cord. Has anyone tried that?

Hi everyone, I am trying to install NH15S to the H210 case. But because the room on the top is too small, I can't fit the fan to the cooler properly. So, for anyone that fitted the fan to the cooler, how did you guys do it?

Lots of builds using H210 (at pcpartpicker.com) has these as go-to-boards: - Gigabyte X570 I AORUS PRO WIFI Mini ITX - Asus ROG Strix B450-I Gaming Mini ITX - ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac Don't think those boards have connector for that USB 3.1 Gen 2 that sits front panel of the case. Or am I just reading something wrong? Would welcome any improvements.

My latest SFF-ish build! Love the H210 and amazed that its all metal construction. Really, really solid case - just that glass side panel that difficult to get off. I spent ages on the cable management and really enjoyed building a SFF-ish form factor. I've been really wanting to do a compact-ish build for a long time and finally I saved enough, and with COVID there seemed to be no better time. My previous build was a full tower LGA-2011 build with a 6850K in a Corsair 750D, which, although lovely - was just too big. I sold all that off over a year ago, moved down to London with my partner and after over a year of no PC gaming I couldn't do it anymore and built my dream machine. I had a really strange issue where I got a VGA POST code and had to use an old 660Ti to boot from initially. The 980Ti worked fine in the OS and after putting it back after one successful boot with the 660Ti, but the issue came back after updating the BIOS to the latest 1407 build. Turns out there was a not well publicised firmware patch for nVidia cards back in 2018 that my card required to run on DP1.3/1.4 (which is the default on my monitor). This information was burried in the backend of a ROG forum post, a quick google will reveal the FW patch and it only takes a few seconds. After that, the BIOS splashed correctly and even resolution matched which was nice! Update: Unfortunately, I've had to RMA the Asus ROG Strix X570-I board after just a few days thanks to the lovely magic smoke popping out and it appears the RGB controller has died. Luckily it didn't take anything with it, the system still works fine, just without any RGB on the board or Aura. I don't make use of any RGB strips or anything, was just going to leave them white. But as of tomorrow, its in the post and I assume its going to be a few long weeks until a replacement arrives (as I am within 14 days of purchase). Meet Torrent, named after Torrent Company, one of the first special divisions of the 501st legion, composed of 144 Clones and led by Captain Rex (I won’t nerd out any further). Right now this build is in its early stages. Made up from parts from my previous mATX gaming build, and the CPU out of my main system. With a few new parts (case, mobo, storage, ram). CPU - R7 3800x GPU - EVGA GTX 1080 SC2 iCX Mobo - Asus Strix ROG B550-I RAM - Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro (white) 2x8GB 3200MH CL16 Storage - WD Black SN750 500GB NVME, Seagate Firecuda 2.5” Hybrid HDD Cooler - Corsair H100i (push pull fans) Fans - Corsair ML120 Pro RGB’s PSU - EVGA 750W P2 w/ Cablemod Black/White sleeved cables Case - NZXT H210 This is an all gaming build and I will use this to game on my LG 75UM8070PUA 4K UHD IPS HDR TV (120Hz at 1440p). The CPU was a hand-me-down from my main system so I know it is not an ideal gaming CPU but this may change. If 4th gen Ryzen has a more compelling gaming CPU, I would look towards an R5 option for this rig. That or go all in and get an i5-10600k and OC the snot out of it if that still makes sense. As it stands the build is not modded or customized in any way. But my first mod is going to be the front panel, to accommodate better airflow for my push pull fans. Shown here is a modded panel on an Evolv, I am going for a similar effect but with a few changes. I am currently in the process completing my own CAD design. The front panel of my H210 has been taken apart and is going to be professionally cut out at a local CNC shop as I want a quality finish, so this is going out of my hands. The entire front panel is mounted with this plastic frame that will need to be cutout (in red), then the front steel panel can be cut to my design. As I have to sacrifice the front dust filter included with the H210 I found this 280mm DEMCiflex fine mesh dust filter that will mount right to the front panel on the inside to deal with this issue. I am also planning to have the glass laser etched, still working on/ deciding on a few designs. In the future my GTX 1080Ti will move into this system from my main system, as I will upgrade to a new Nvidia Ampere GPU for that system. Once the CPU decision is made for the long term I will be doing my first hardline custom loop. Hence my decision on the H210, I wanted ITX because anything bigger is unnecessary but I will use it as a showpiece so the slightly larger ITX footprint is okay and allows for enough room for a custom loop. This will likely happen in the new year though as I am waiting for new Nvidia and AMD hardware to release to make my final decision. Feel free to follow this thread for updates! Here are some photos of the build process, cable management is pretty good in the H210 but I have a TON of cables so even this still took a few hours to put together. The RGB hub connectors are stuffed underneath the PSU shroud for now, in the future I will 2-way tape them into place but only after I complete the custom loop.
