Gigabyte z790 aorus pro x white. Paired with intel 15 13600k. The hdmi works but the DisplayPort on the motherboard doesn't seem to show any display. I am currently using 4 screens in my set up. A small one in my pc, my 49 inch g9, and two other 1080p screens. I want to use the display port for one of the 1080p monitors and the hdmi on the motherboard for the small pc screen whilst the other two main screens which i will be using for gaming is plugged into the gpu. Now i am able to run all 4 screens with the small pc screen using the motherboard hdmi but i paid £400 for my motherboard. I sure as hell want everything working even if i wont use it. I want to know whether i got a faulty one with a botched dp or whether im missing something. Rest of the specs are ddr5 t force 32gb (2x16) running at 6000mhz. RTX 4070ti. 1000w corsair rmx psu.

I know there is a lot of text, but please help your fellow PCMR guy. If someone can please explain this to me: I have a Gainward rtx 4080 panther on Gigabyte Aorus elite ax b650 with 7800x3d, GSKILL Trident Z5 Neo 32GB and a gigabyte 850w gold PSU (not the model which are known to blow up) and i tried furmark. After some time i closed the furmark, did a benchmark, everything was perfect. Then i started TLOU part 1. The graphics were full of artifacts. I have restarted the game and everything was back to normal, except the red VGA status led on my motherboard lit up. I tried restarting the PC and the GPU did not output anything. Reseated the GPU and power cable, restarted again, and the GPU works fine again. What could cause the red VGA status led, and should i be worried that something is wrong with my GPU? I really want to discover the faulty part asap if there is one, so i can still RMA in time...

Whenever I enable xmp on and reboot from gigabyte control center, my pc just goes black and doesn't boot at all while the RGB lights and other parts keep running. I have let it sit up to five mins and had no change whatsoever although if I just manually force shutdown and startup it boots and has the 3600 mhz it supposed to run at. Any idea why is this issue

How much memory and at what speed will be enough for video editing and gaming? -
So I bought a new motherboard Gigabyte Aorous B550 Pro AC today and now my ram won't work in dual-channel. I know these sticks work because I was using them hours ago. Both sticks work individually and in any slot, however, once I insert 2 sticks, I get no boot and the leds on the motherboard signal a DRAM problem. On the latest BIOS version. Any help? -
I have wasted a lot of time trying to find the front panel port on my motherboard and i can’t seem to find it i’ve looked at many Youtube tutorials but they seem to not help me with anything, maybe my Motherboard had a strange layout or something i did seem to find a cable with Front panel written on it but cant seem to find where to put it in. Right now i have in a brown highlighted cable which is coming out of that cable which splits to like 5 bits (sorry first time builder). When i try to turn it on only my ram turns on, here is some pics.

Hello, PC Health check for Win 11 is pointing that the Secure Boot isn't enable. How to enable it at the BIOS? My BIOS version is F20 Every time that I disable CSM Support the bios doesn't boot from my NVMe 2.5 where is my system is and doesn't offer option to change the boot order also, therefore I got stuck in a loop going back always to BIOS settings. Appreciate any help Thanks.

I've build a new AMD PC and recently come across this problem where Windows thinks all or some HDD/SSD as a removable device and saw some places where you have to fiddle around with the Registry settings to make them 'Disappear'. BUT! There is another solution I've found. Go to the BIOS and look for SATA Configuration or settings. If Hot plug/SATA Port Hot Plug is enabled by default, Disable it. Save setting and restart and Problem solved. Hope this helps!

I recently got the Gigabyte M27Q monitor which works fine when connected to my PC by HDMI but when trying to connect it to my laptop (Asus Viviobook n580vd) by the usb c port it doesn't work. When I plug the usb c port into my laptop I get an error message on my main pc "display connection might be limited" On my laptop if I look at the usb c device under device manager it says "port reset failed" when opening the properties I get an error message "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43) A USB port reset request failed." To troubleshoot I have tried 2 different cables, checked the usb c port on my laptop works by using a hdmi to usb c cable. Any help would be greatly appreciated -
Hey guys, I met a problem when installing memory. Thanks for any help. The old motherboard on my girlfriend's desktop was broken and I bought a new one: GIGABYTE Z390 UD. When I install the memory: CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB), the desktop could not boot, no matter what slots I installed. I tried 1st, 3rd slots and 2nd, 4th slots, but it still could not boot. And if I only install one memory card, the system boot normally. Then I found that my memory is 1.36V but all 4 slots on the new motherboard are all 1.2V. I am wondering how I can solve this? Is there anything in BIOS I can change? SInce installing 2 memory cards at the same time does not boot the system, I do not know how to configure the system with two cards installed. The system works fine with one memory card now, but I do not want to waste another card. Thanks for any help. -
Hello everyone, this community never fails to amaze me, I am here again, asking for your assistance. I have some problems with the rig I built this august, and one of them is the gpu it seems. I bought an MSI Ventus RTX 2060, it had coil whine, so i RMAed it and got myself an Gigabyte GTX 1660s 3 fans, and it had coil whine again so i said alright, I don't have time for switching another gpu due to school work and such, so i bought an amazing PSU, and that didn't solve the problem, but I have a bigger problem than coil whine, temps and fans. So I have a big problem with the fans and the software of this card. Aorus engine is just utterly bad. Besides that, the fans are constantly revving when I play a game, make some whining noises as well, and I cant set a custom curve with the aorus engine, not even with msi afterburner, it just doesn't react to it. Also, the temps started to be 60 on idle for some reason, about 5 days ago, they just ramp up from 40 to 60 even if doing absolutely nothing. And I am really tired of this. I am constantly encountering problems with a "new" build.. Huh, I guess, 3rd time is a charm. I can maybe RMA the card so that's an option, but there is a big shortage on gpu's in my country so i would probably be able to get an EVGA or an ZOTAC model of this same card. If any of you guys could help me in some way I would be grateful, even a single tip is helpful, thanks. -
Hi I recently used one of gigabytes utility softwares called @bios this updates the bios, i recently updated this software which added a new feature called face wizard, this slows you to change the BIOS post image. On seing this option i changed it to a corsiar logo .gif, this worked completely fine for about 3 days booting successfully several times. However yesterday my pc crashed whilst uploading a file to ms onedrive, pretty odd i thought, i then restarted my PC which just left me on the POST screen, showing me the option to enter BIOS with Delete, F9 for system information and F12 for boot options, but to my surprise done of these worked, i am using a corsair strafe mk2 with a USB 3.0 connection so i tried a USB 2.0 keyboard still nothing and even a PS2 keyboard which came back with the same result, ive tried to reset the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery which i believe worked as the on board LED has switched on which i had previously switched off, but im still left on the post screen with no way to get past it! Im not sure what to do so i am turning to the LTT forum for help. It would be great to see what a more experienced PC builder would think of this. Archie

I recently got a hold of a gigabyte graphics card with RGB controllable through RGB fusion 2. My question comes because of the Asus motherboard I was planning on using, does RGB fusion need a gigabyte motherboard to work, or is it a standalone RGB program more like Corsair iq? If I were to use my gigabyte graphics card on my Asus board, would I be able to download RGB fusion and control the lighting or would it just be on a cycling pattern with no control?

Unable to select reboot option using keyboard

I have gigabyte fm2a55 ds2 motherboard after restart it is showing Bios reset : please select restart option and there are 3 options but I m unable to toggle in between them using my keyboard and now it can't boot up and enter in windows. Please help. -
My gpu fan is spinning but unable to get any display signal from it . To confirm that my gpu is working i plugged it in my friends pc and it posted but it is not working in my pc. Please help.

Motherboard: Gigabyte G1.Sniper B6 GPU: nvidia 660 CPU: Intel i7 So I bought this computer and after some troubleshooting got it working. It was working for about a month, and suddenly it’s stopped booting the OS (Windows 10). I’ll get stuck on a black screen with the windows logo and the spinning dots (dots will freeze, computer is frozen), or the “Windows had a problem and will now restart” blue screen, but nothing happens. I’ve tried unplugging the start drive and booting from the original Windows install flash drive I had, but that didn’t work either. Hello guys, I keep getting this error, doesn't matter what version I try to update. I am currently in the F20 bios version for my X570 UD Rev 1.0 motherboard. In my Bios setting I just have minor changes such as FTPM enable and XMP Profile. Any Idea? Thanks

I have tried many different ways, AMD adrenalin, just the driver, many different versions of each. I reset Windows 10, didn't change anything. I'm not sure what to do now. Windows recognizes it in device manager, but it has a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark. every time I try to install drivers, it gives me an error, or tells me i need to restart to continue, but when i do nothing happens. So I have this problem where if I set my refresh rate to 165hz, my monitors restart/prr cycle every 30-60 seconds. They support 165hz according to gigabyte. I am using the display port for both, and I have HDR.full specs below. 2, Gigabyte G32QC A Curved Monitors (connected via 8K DP cables) AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Gigabyte 3060 GDDR6 12GB Asus Prime B550-plus MB XPG 3200 ram Windows 11 home As far as I can tell, the monitors are up to date, but I am honestly not sure as I am not 100% certain on how to update them outside of through to system settings. I only have this issue at 165hz. I do not have this issue at 120 or 60hz

I am trying to decide which of the following laptops to buy. They have roughly the same specs but I don't know whether getting a refurbished Gigabyte laptop is worth it. It only comes with a 90 day warranty in contrast to the 1 year warranty offered by Dell. These all have 4k displays. Refurbished Gigabyte AERO 15: i7-9750H, GTX 1660 Ti, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD - $1250 direct from Gigabyte Refurbished Dell XPS 15 7590: i7-9750H, GTX 1650, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD - $1450 direct from Dell New Gigabyte AERO 15: same specs as refurbished; from amazon - $1500 from Amazon (easy returns within 30 days) New Dell XPS 15 7590: same specs as refurbished; currently $~1650 but will probably be lower if there's a sale These are significantly cheaper than the comparable thinkpads or the Yoga C940 that I was also considering so I eliminated Lenovo from the running. I really don't care about the performance delta between the GPUs of the two laptops as I'm not primarily going to be gaming with it. I'm more concerned about dealing with issues with the laptops if they arise and getting adequate support. If anyone has had experience buying either a new or a refurbished Gigabyte laptop or can otherwise advise me I would really appreciate it. -
Hi, I have a gigabyte b450 aorus elite and recently updated the bios to the newest version as it was on a version from 2018, After doing so my rgb lighting control for the TridentZ rgb nolonger works and is stuck a static orange. Any help would be great.
