Hello! So first I want to mention that I am new here and also in the PC stuff but I am learning fast. So with that out of the way,I want a opinion on what RTX 407P SUPER to get, like from what brand? I came down to these options since they are in my budget so: 1.Gainward GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER Ghost OC 2.MSI GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER 12G VENTUS 2X OC 3.ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 Super Dual OC 4.GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER WINDFORCE OC So I wanna know which of these is the best in all aspects, but mostly performance, but by that I actually mean best overclockability cuz yea, they all got the same nvidia chip inside =). I am also open to other variant as long as they dont go with like 40 dollars over the most expensive one which in this list is the Gigabyte. I also need to mention that I am in Europe so prices may differ a bit but yeah. Thank you in advance!

When I tried to honor my warranty on my 3060 ti which broke after 5 months. When I went on their support page all they said was they only provide support for the distributors but the place I got the card from is gainward. Is there anything I can do to help.

Hi, A couple of months ago I finally after many months of waiting (9 months) got my RTX 3080 that I ordered and recently I've noticed that the memory clock speed does not match the spec. It should be reading 1188/9502Mhz depending on the monitoring software being used but some times not every time it shows 1156.5 or 9250Mhz, some times a restart fixes it other times it doesn't, seems to have a bit of a life of its own. The gpu that I have is an LHR model if that is of any use, I don't personally mine and honestly wouldn't have the guts to considering how difficult it is to find a gpu at a fair price. Has anyone had a similar experience with other cards, is this a one of and could it go under warranty? Seeing as it isn't preforming to spec. I first tried contacting Gainward support about the problem and haven't gotten a reply as of yet, its been about a week. Are there tests that I can do to see if the problem goes away, it seems stable in the games that I play and the stress tests that I've performed. Other important info: Ryzen 5800x Asus ROG STRIX B550 Gaming-F (WIFI) EVGA SuperNOVA G3 850W 80+ Gold Sincerely Zubre

Found a Gainward GTX 970 4gb on Facebook Marketplace listed at ≈150USD, is this worth it? If no, what'd be a reasonable price?

Hi, i have luck today, and I ordered RTX 3080 Gainward Phantom GS. But then I searched for some reviews and I didn't found any legit YouTube, Tech site review. I just found some user comments and this small review on reddit Is here somebody who had this card or has it now, can you agree with this review. I noticed they released new BIOS 2.12.2020, maybe they are trying to fix those issues. If someone has this card, can you try this new BIOS and tell temperatures and fan noise. I have same case as the guy from reddit, Phanteks P600s with 3x140mm Be Quiet intake fan's and 1x140 mm out take fan. So airflow in my case should be very similar. Thank you.

I recently decided to upgrade my gtx 970 to something better. Currently i'm split between the Gainward RTX 2070 (450 USD) or the Gigabyte RTX 2060 super (480 USD) . The Gigabyte 2060S is the cheapest one you can get in my country and so is the Gainward RTX 2070. The Gainward RTX 2070 is cheaper than the 2060S but i'm afraid i'll be too loud or cheaply built compared to the Gigabyte 2060S. Noise isn't a huge issue for me but of course the queiter the Better. Sorry for any spelling errors. English isn't my 1st language:)

So I manage to snag a Gainward 1060 Phoenix edition (non-GS) this recent holiday season for around $250. Was wondering if anyone is also running this card? I would like to know what range of fps are you getting for Overwatch. I'm currently on a i5 2500 8GB 1333 and the mentioned GTX 1060

I have a Gainward GTX730 (1Gb Gddr5) and when i pop it in a system (no matter what the system), the fans ramp up to 100% and the system never posts. I have checked without the GPU and everything is perfectly ok. It's not the PSU, apart from trying out 3 different units and every single one of them was ok, the Graphics Card doent even have external power connectors. What could it be? Thanks to everyone in advance!!

Hi folks! So, after having built my computer about a year before the 10 series of nVidia GPUs came out I'm thinking of getting a gtx 1060 6gb. The MSI GTX 750 Ti currently in my system (yes, I had a tight budget) is serving me well, but it does occasionally struggle with recording and livestreaming applications. So, while browsing the stores here (I'm in Romania) I've noticed brands that you don't see that often, which have really good prices. I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with GPUs from brands other than the "big boys" (EVGA, Zotac, Gigabyte, Asus, MSI etc). The ones I'm looking at are PNY, Palit, Gainward and Inno3D. I've heard good things about them but I'm just looking for some more opinions TL;DR: What do you guys know about GPUs from Palit, PNY, Gainward and Inno3D

Sorry if this is the wrong area, couldn't see a help part while on my phone. There is a strange clicking sound coming from my GTX 770 when the fans are at 100% (video is here the fan makes this terrible noise. As tags suggest, the first person to give me a solution that works will get a gamma 2 case (sorry I am poor). Any help is apprieciated

Hi! Lately I started using my pc for couch gaming so noise levels became important to me. I have a gainward phoenix 1080, which is supposed to be a quiet card, however even if I set the fan speed to a fix one in afterburner the fans ramp up under load, sounding like a jet engine. The strange thing that none of the rpms, actually change in monitoring. So if I set it to 1000 rpm fixed the noise is much louder while under load (I tried with superstition and furmark) I checked every other fans, and it’s the gpu that makes the noise for sure, as cpu even while stress tested is much quieter and my case fans are fixed at 100%. How could I fix this problem? Thanks!

So I had to RMA a old 980ti. And got. RTX 2070 well that card did last a day before it caused Nvidia driver to crash windows. Got then a new 2070 and well hello artifacts Both the 2070 cards have been "Gainward GeForce RTX 2070 Phoenix GS" just wondering what other people's experience have been with it. in the timeframe from the 980ti dieing and up to now I have used a 970 that have had no issue, my PSU is 850w, since I have had other people blame the PSU being to weak (until they know the W) I have only used software to monitor, not to OC or adjust any setings

Hello, I built a PC 2 months ago with an RTX 2070 and the following configuration : https://imgur.com/a/akirPEF I have noticed a problem with rendering of objects and textures in virtually every game. There is a lot of popping, and in-game objects regularly appear and/or disappear as I approach or distance myself from them. There are examples in the videos below : https://vimeo.com/user108164184/review/388835975/cbfd7153ae https://vimeo.com/user108164184/review/388835871/10ebf03f4c https://vimeo.com/user108164184/review/388835788/4b8e0ea306 https://vimeo.com/user108164184/review/388835713/a220d3b592 https://vimeo.com/user108164184/review/388835654/4d801ac5f9 I could upload a lot more examples if needed from various games (Crysis1,2 and 3, Batllefront, Battlefield 4), such as foliage appearing/disappearing, texture changes etc. I found a topic where the seemingly identical issue seems to be discussed in detail but no solution is offered : https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1118699-bad-texture-pop-intexture-rendering-of-shadows-foliage-and-close-objects/ I haven't overclocked anything, I've tried reinstalling windows and drivers but no solution so far. Any help would be hugely appreciated

So after a day of regular computer usage I woke up and tried booting up my PC. Just to be surprised with a black screen. I can hear the sound of windows booting up, so there is sound date being transferred through the DVI cable I use. But there's no video output for some reason? Does this mean my GPU is dead or is this a common issue that can be resolved, or should I bake it? Please help me guys. I'm losing hope :(

Hey :) So I own a GTX 970 made by Gainward (a company I've never seen anyone talking about and pretty much no idea how I got it) but this GPU has started underperforming insanely bad lately. After I've replaced the thermal paste on the heatsink (which this card's specific heatsinks are too small to be effective) it performs even worse. I've applied the usual amount that is also used on CPUs and it made no difference and as I said made it even worse. I've just recently change the case, fans and CPU heatsink so the PC doesn't overheat but this does. a benchmark for reference which will explain why I'm a bit worried. Any ideas/tips that I can try to improve it?

Hello, straight to the point: Is there any way to fix the fan header seen in the photo? I already contacted Gainward about it and they don't have any spare parts. Is it possible to buy the entire PCB seen in the photo somewhere like Aliexpress? If not, I guess my only chance is to solder the header back on. GPU: Gainward RTX 2080 Phoenix GS Thanks for your help!

I am building a pc and have come across "Gainward GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Ghost OC", which is 50$ cheaper than other 1660ti cards where I live. I have never heard of this brand so I am asking you: should I buy this card or spend more for a different brand? Will it have lesser performance than more expensive cards with the same gpu? Thanks in advance!

So I recently just bought this card with this spec:- Brand : Gainward Model : GTX 750 Ti VRAM : 2GB There's this switch at the back that has an option B and M which is still a mystery to me because when I tried to Google it up,I have no result. So I thought maybe by asking this here maybe some Gainward staff would help me out.I'm attaching the picture of the switch so it can be clear to you.

Hey everyone! I have an 1 year old Gainward GTX 1080 Golden Sample. After the install of the new NVIDIA driver (398.82) I’ve got some big problem. I’ve been try to solve it for 2 weeks, no luck. My problem is the following: When I open anything (Search bar on Windows 10 tray, Google Chrome etc.) my cursor starts lagging. It moves a bit, then it stops at a place, and a few moments later it jumps to the place, where it should to be, if it moves continuously. Google Chrome opening is also lagging, Sometimes after the laggy cursor comes a few seconds black screen at random intervals with one or more 4101 event (Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.) Then the screen comes back. 2 day ago there were 10 black screen witihin a minute. One time it caused this: Normally it is like this: On the original system I've got this: Things what I did in the last 2 weeks: -run different tests: Prime95 (OK), FurMark (OK), Memtest86+ (OK), Heaven Benchmark (OK) -about 50 clean install with different Windows 10 versions, with full storage format and with the latest firmwares -try 10 different NVIDIA driver (problems are still here with all of them too) -a lot of DDU in safe mode -Core and Memory clock reducing in MSI Afterburner -try hard performance in Windows 10 and NVIDIA Control Panel -ignore DriverSearching in Registry, ignore and stop Windows Update -try it with only NVIDIA driver installed on my PC -try it with different HDMI cable, and with Display Port cable -try it with different display (Sony Smart TV) -try it with 3 different mouse -Windows 7 try: no black screens, but cursor lag is still there -Linux Mint try: no black screens, but cursor lag is still there The problems do not occur when I use the Intel HD 530 integrated GPU. AND: the problems do not occur when I run stress tests, like FurMark and Heaven Benchmark. The GPU’s values are in the normal zone: 43C-67C, avg. 85 fps. How is this possible? The card is dying when I browse, when I click a simple Windows 10 Search Bar or open a browser etc. But it can handle a 10 minutes long FurMark test, without any problem, without any lag or black screen. How? I suspected to hardware problem, but I can’t believe it in the knowledge of these facts. May the PSU (EVGA G3 SuperNova 550W) can’t cause this, because then it should affect the integrated GPU, too. All parts of my PC are about 1 year old. I heard about a secret storage on the newest graphics cards, which can not be cleaned with Windows clean install. It was a thread on the https://forums.geforce.com/ site, but it has already been removed. Maybe that is what it causes my problem? Or what causes these problems? Have you ever experienced something like that?

Hello, I've just upgraded my pc fans due to the airflow being low and making my gpu run hot. I added 3 more fans making it 4 in total. I've put the case fans on their maximum speed and the fan curve of my gpu is also really aggressive ( as soon as I start playing a game they start running on 100%) even with all that I get high temps about 75 degrees C average during normal gaming (non synthetic) the game I am playing is paladins . Is that normal with so much cooling? and yes I have checked that the gpu and case fans actually work on 100%. the air coming out of my case isn't hot at all. The gpu un modified. The case I have is the cougar mx330.

Hey guys! I think that this might interest some people and make us “more aware of things.” I honestly did not know that something like this could happen. If I am wrong just tell me because I am not really sure. So I am looking for some kind of temporary solution for gpu and I came across some Gainward gtx 1060 cards(not phoenix, regular). They are quite cheap here and I have just seen some very different opinions on these cards. So i started digging. Gainward probably made a revision of that card somewhen. I do not know about market elsewhere but here it is just chaos(EU). Retail sellers are selling the revision card and using pictures of the original one for example. Here are some pictures: This is the original card This is the card after revision So as you can see in the pictures the pcbs are totally different. Also the cooler on the original one is larger. You can see the fins on the rev card starting somewhere in the middle of the fan. The two problems that people have with rev cards that I noticed are: they are hotter, they do not have the 0rpm fan function when idle. So why not just continue producing a good card? Instead of that making the card worse and sell it like that? I do not get it.
