Hello, my friend unfortunately had an issue with a BIOS update which bricked the motherboard. Bought a new one, all gucci. Downside is she has two monitors. If she has her first monitor plugged in, all works. If she has her second monitor plugged in, all works. If she has them both plugged in, first one stops and only the second one works. We've reinstalled graphics drivers for nvidia via a clean install, didn't fix it. We're now having a food break cause pissed off, but if anyone has an idea into what could fix it I would forever be in your debt. Thanks again, James.

I bought an HDMI splitter (1 input, 2 outputs) to project my laptop's screen. It had a port that directly connected to my laptop and connected to two separate HDMI-to-VGA cables, 1 per monitor. Basically, the splitter worked fine when I just had 1 monitor plugged in but both monitors turned off when I tried plugging in the second monitor. I tried switching the ports so it's not a matter of one of the outputs being broken and both monitors have worked fine for me otherwise (this includes the HDMI-to-VGA cables). The first monitor is a HP V221 and the other is a Dell. If it helps, here's the splitter I purchased: https://www.ebay.com/itm/293757405640 Thoughts? Edit: when I plug in both screens, Windows settings seems to not detect either screen. If I just have one plugged into the splitter it always shows that screen no problem. I am using an Acer Nitro 5 2019 model, don't know what's wrong with my laptop display it starts blinking when drawing something using mouse. I tried Uninstalling and Re-Installing my Display Adaptors ,still same. Then I tried Resetting thinking that maybe a fresh installation of windows and all the drivers would do the job, But no change in this problem. i have been using this laptop from August 2020. Please help Me Out

Hello everyone, so recently I have bought a new screen lg 34wp75c-b and there is a problem with washed / blurred colors. Tried to enable chroma 444 or full colors but there isnt availible option for none of them. With HDMI which lg sent me its fine + HDR works and all things are good (colors) but its limited to 85hz and screen's full potential is 160hz - it can be achieved only with dp cable. I have a suspicion that lg either sent me a 1.2 dp cable and it doesnt support all the things (2k, 160hz and chroma444 cuz its only 16gb/s and it needs around 22gb/s) or cable/ screen is broken. Hi all, I'm looking for some advice regarding displays. I'm currently running LG's 32" 4k display (32UN500). It's not a bad display by any means but I made the mistake of believing in that HDR 400 certification. I've been looking at getting an upgrade and I've wanted to go OLED but I've found there's a huge gap at the 32" margin. I'm finding that companies like Asus or Samsung make OLED displays at 27" or as large format gaming displays that are 42" or larger. There are a few displays that are 32" like LG's lineup of ultra fine OLED displays but they cost significantly more and don't seem to be marketed towards the casual video editor and gamer that I am. So I'm curious as I haven't found any good suggestions out there, is OLED worth the investment enough to go to the larger format display or should I settle for a display with local backlight dimming for what seems to be significantly less investment? So every time I turn my PC on the monitor won't display anything. And after like 30seconds a minute the pic just turns off sometimes sooner. I've check all the wiring. I even used a different monitor still won't work. Can u guys helps. Brother out.

So I am doing a new build and eventually would like to get a few 4k monitors but for now the cost is to much. I currently have 2 monitors(listed below) but I have found that there are many times working that I wish I had an extra one. I currently have a Asus VG248QE 24" led 144Hz 1ms https://www.amazon.ca/ASUS-VG248QE-24-inch-LED-lit-response/dp/B00B2HH7G0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1498872681&sr=8-1&keywords=asus+vg248qe+24 My second monitor is just an old 19" vga (looks horrible and moving the mouse between screens is a pain to line up) My new build will have a gtx 1080ti. I was thinking to maybe getting a second VG248QE and an ultra wide for the middle. Ultra wide monitors are normally to expensive but I found one from LG LG 25UM58-P (http://www.ncix.com/detail/lg-25um58-p-25in-ultrawide-ips-a4-126877.htm?promoid=1639) I saw some videos on it and because it is small I don't know if it would be work getting. I plan to use it for gaming as well as work. Any one have any ideas on a good 3 monitor setup that would be good for gaming, and wont break the bank? I only plan on using one of them for gaming and the other 2 for work. If the pixels are the same would the screens line up (as in when I move the mouse on either the top or bottom of the screen will it hit an edge on the other monitor or will it be lined up)? Hello I'm having issues with my GTX 1070 displaying on both my monitors. I have a Acer 27" and a Samsung 27" I had a GTX 1060 in it before and it worked just fine. Every time I plug both monitors in they will both try and find a output. Any help

Unable to turn on HDR tried with 2160 and 1080 on both 60hz and 30hz it keeps toggling back off instantly.Windows 10 Build 1903(18362.449)Display- TCL iFFALCON 55K2A(I can play HDR10 videos via pendrive directly on the TV and it looks great)PC(RX580 Red Devil Golden Sample 8GB) to Display(TCL iFFALCON 55K2A) via HDMI 2.0 cableNote: When playing Resident Evil 2(2019) and Devil May Cry 5 HDR turns on automatically and the TV says HDR10 is ON but it makes everything look worse colors are washed off and looks foggy DMC5 I have to change the resolution to 1440p/1080p and then back to 2160p to turn off HDR to play without HDR(which looks better-normal) in RE2 I have to turn off HDR in game settings to turn off HDR and play without HDR if I play in windowed mode in any resolution on those games HDR won't turn on.Sometimes if I play in 1080p HDR ON and in full screen and then if I switch to desktop using alt+tab or win+tab then in windows settings it shows HDR ON automatically but even my desktop looks way worse with washed off colors and a foggy screen and even the texts are unreadable, So I have to turn off HDR in the settings.Radeon Settings Advisor keeps telling me to apply HDR and WGC when I hit apply same thing happens the screen flashes for a sec and then if I hit scan again it will show the same message.will attach the pics of my radeon settings I never changed them it's all defaultWhat might be the problem is there any way to fix it?Please help me out. I have a self-built computer,Ryzen 1600 OC to 3.8GHz -Runs at 35c idle and 50c-60c under load2 SSD and 1 HDDAB 350 Pro boardRX 590 - Latest driver2 HP 25x 144 (Connected by Display Ports)750w power supply (Increased from 500, because I thought it was low power)16 GB ram (3000Mhz)When I try to use two monitors to watch a youtube video or a movie while gaming both screen flicker and lines happen. When I move it to 144 Hz it happens more frequently and I need to drop it to 100 Hz refresh for both. The Gaming has Freesync enabled and the movie is set to high quality. I cannot figure out why it would do that. I thought it was a temperature issue since it is always at 50c-70c, so I put thermal Grizzly(Kryonaut) on the gpu die and it keeps it pretty cool. What am I missing? Also, the computer beeps when the GPU is at 70ish centigrade.

im not much of a tech guy but i like to game on my pc. and best buy wants to charge me an arm and a leg just to see whats wong with my pc. it lights up but nothing comes on the screen. the day it stoped workking it crashed. its only 3 years old. i paid $1200.00 usd for it; it should of lasted longer than 3 years. im not that good at talking specs i know it has a i7 and a isus grapics card in it and 16gb ram thats all i know.

yellow i did look for a new screen for my pc and found the samsung s32d850 for 551$ i do now have my two asus pa248q i love the rich colors from an ips/pls pannel. how bad is the blacknes bleed? if any at all have any user from linustechtips form had some problem with it? is it any better options? for 500 - 600 $ and 1440p/1600p is somting i want ips/pls is to 27-32 inc would be nice thx // ante
