Hi. Could someone please help me figure out which hose of the Kraken Z73 is the intake? My build requires me to position the rad vertically on the short side and it’s only marginally higher than the CPU (Desk PC). I have to make sure the liquid enters the rad from the top to avoid air going into the pump. The rad orientation will be just like the attached photo but the pump screen will be facing upwards. Any help would be really appreciated.

So I've purchased a H115iv2 cooler, and will be placing this at the very front of my case, but I'm confused about fan direction and air direction. I'll be placing this towards the front of the case, with the radiator closest the motherboard, but I'm confused as to whether I want the fans to draw air into the system, or to pull the air out of the radiator and push it out. Some help would be greatly appreciated!

Long story short: I did some changes to my custom water loop, didn't pay attention to the cpu water block flow direction, noticed today (after weeks) that I have the flow going backwards, decided it's a great chance to do some water cooling science! Lets just cut to the results. Ambient during tests 22~23C, other details below: And 30 mins later: System: CPU: Intel i7 3970X @ daily 4.6 GHz ~1.37 V GPU(s): 2x Gigabyte R9 290OC (Water cooled) Motherboard: Asus P9X79 RAM: Kingston HyperX 32 GB 1866 MHz DDR3 PSU: Corsair AX860i Water Cooling: CPU block: Alphacool NexXxoS XP³ Light - Acetal (it does have "IN" carved at the center port and "OUT" at the top port) GPU blocks: EK-FC R9-290X - Acetal+Nickel (Rev.2.0) Tim: GC- Extreme Pump: EK-5D Vario (X- RES 100) Radiators: Phobya Xtreme NOVA 1080mm (9x Bitfenix Spectre push) + 480 mm (4x Alphacool NB-eLoop push) + AlphaCool UT60 360mm (3x noctua fans push) Notes: - Only the CPU was loaded, 1st GPU was at idle and 2nd GPU was powered off. - Prime95 small FFTs (with AVX) was used to load the CPU. - Pump and fans were run at the max speed. - AX860i with Corsair Link software was used to log the most of the data, GPUz was used for GPU temp & VRM1 & VRM2 temp. - Ambient temp was read from a cheap thermometer... It showed around 22 C for the "reversed" test and 22.5 C for the "correct", but is unreliable. - This was just a quick test to see how much of an effect does the flow direction have on the CPU temps, not conclusive on the matter or system performance. - To change the flow direction, pump inlet and outlet were swapped, which reverses the direction of the flow in the whole loop, so technically it could have affected the temps in other ways than just the flow inside the CPU block. - The loop had still small air bubbles in it after swapping the tubes, but nothing that should have impacted the performance. Well after analysing the results myself, I came to the conclusion it doesn't matter a whole lot. Maybe, maybe (if you believe hard enough) 1 C better with the "correct" flow direction, but it's well within the margin of error. Other things I observed: "MB CPU" temp came down with the "correct" flow direction, but I don't know what that is and it looks to be a bit random anyway. Looks like the GPU VRM1 temp came down ~2 C, probably because the flow divides more easily into the VRM channel inside the GPU water block with this flow direction (or it's just random variation). What we learnt? Once again, don't sweat the small details, just add more radiators!

The NZXT Kraken x62 comes with 2 fans that you are supposed to attach to the radiator. Which way do I put the fans if I have to put them between the case and the radiator?

Hello, I'm building a new pc and there's a problem, I don't know how to put the fans in a good position, giving the best air flow. I have a Q300L, 1 fan in the back, two above, 1 below, 2 in the front and I also have a cpu with douple fans.

Readers digest version: I'd like some nice sounding, durable headphones. <$400 Preferable metal construction or a durable plastic, like my current cans Oval earcups Removable wire Capable of outputting strong bass, and crisp highs. (multi-driver maybe?) I can only guess that powered headphones would be best for this, if it isn't rechargeable, I'm not interested. Weight is not a problem, neither is general look, I'm all about sound and durability. Long Version: I'm a highschool student, I listen to music all the time, everywhere, my tastes and genres very immensely. My current set (pictured) is a pair of Skull Candy Hesh 2 Wireless, I normally use them plugged in, with an old aux cord probably from my grandma's 2005 computer. I replaced the standard earcups with the old oval earcups from my Turtle Beach x12s, because the leather, circular earcups were really uncomfortable. Anyways, these headphones are probably the most durable things own, and my life can definitely be quite abusive to my cans. Between being dropped, slept on, and crushed by luggage, these things refuse to break. The only drawback is that they sound... Bad. So I need some guidance. I'd like some nice sounding, durable headphones. These headphones don't get very loud without clipping, and any bass at all kills my mids and highs, if it produces any bass at all. My LG V20 claims to be able to drive up to 250ohm If I remember correctly. If these Mythical perfect headphones don't exist, that's fine. I'm just looking for help from people who know a lot more about this than I do.

I have a small question. Does it matter which side of the radiator the fans are on? I have them pushing air into the case through the rad. Does it matter which side the fans are on? Thi sis my current airflow pattern

hello guys, newbie here in LTT i recently bought a Seasonic M12 520 EVO and i noticed something, the fan is on the top part when i put it inside the case. is it okay to put it like that? cause someone told that it will cause more hotness. now, i rotated it upside down and the writing on the psu became upside down too, but the fan is in the bottom part now and it sucks air outside the case. please help me

Hello I was wondering which direction I should place my CPU's heatsink fan. It can either pull air from heatsink onto motherboard, or blow air from motherboard onto heatsink. Thank you.

Ok, so i have one 120mm radiator, and some 120mm fans. Based on the picture, is there any advantages for A? If so, which fan should i use? (pressure or airflow) Also, is there any difference by using different types of fans (pressure of airflow) in both setup B and C?
