What's gonna happening if we run.windows on 2 different drives

I know it may sound dumb, but hear me out, SDs are just like a SSD, but smol, so I bought this 1TB SD card for 5 dollars and Im thinking about installing some games in it like COD Warzone, does the SD card performs worse than a traditional SSD or HDD? and if it does, how worse are we talking about? is it a good idea to install my games on it? (also im moving my videos and my video editing software's cache to the SD card, is it a good idea aswell? pls drop some tips to properly use this SD card) Thank you.

Let's see if I can solve this in one... Magnetically attached slimline battery case that transfers power to the phone via wireless "charging". The wireless power transfer tech is there already. So now you'd have a waterproof sealed battery and a waterproof sealed phone. You could even pick how bulky you want your battery / case to be depending on how much juice you need. As well, I'm pretty sure this would mean you could place the phone on a wireless charging station with no battery and just use it that way in a pinch. Thoughts?

Crazy idea: Can you use a car battery to run a desktop PC? I mean, well, like just plug in the positive terminal and negative terminal of the car battery, design some buck converters for 12V, 3.3V, 5V, and the rest? I have a big car battery (12V 68A rating from my 4 wheel drive truck), which is still okay (just maybe to weak to start the truck even at full charge) and I'm wondering, could it be turn to like UPS where it can still give me better time to shut down the system? Or can it be plug in to some old inline UPS and use it (I know most UPS only use 7.2V, I just need to buck the voltage down? Also, their battery sucks!)? Anyway, just a little crazy idea I had, but it'll be good. I can save lots by buying a 1500VA UPS that only last for 5 minutes.

Ok hear me out, cause this is a weird idea and I want to know if it will work. I've always wanted to make a water loop cooled shirt to keep you cool when you're out doing stuff / dancing / working out, and I just had a brainwave that I could use PC watercooling gear to accomplish this. Below is a really *rough* sketch of what I want to make. There would be no CPU water block cause I only want the water circulating though the plastic tubes which would be sewn on the inside of the shirt. I should be able to create a mount/platform and attach / mount the Rads and fans either to the front or back of the shirt and have the reservoir pumps mounted on the shoulder or upper arm. Parts I had in mind were 2 x EK Classic 160 SPC PWM D-RGB Pump Reserviors 2 x EK Coolstream PE 120mm Radiator (expensive) / Bykski 120mm Radiator (cheaper) 2 x EK Furious Meltemi PWM 120mm Radiator Fan (expensive) / EK Furious Vardar EVO 120BB 120mm Cooling Fan (cheaper) 3m Corsair Hydro X Series XT SL (10/13mm) PVC Tubing Main thing I need to know is will the pumps be powerful enough to pump water around the tubes? I've separated it into 2 parts for this reason so 1 pump doesn't have to do all the work. As for power I would power this crazy contraption with a high capacity usb power brick in the pocket and get a simple 5v usb to 12v DC converter. Each pump/res combo is rated at 6 W/h and the fans are rated at ~9.5 W/h so that's about 32 W/h, the current battery pack I've got for example is 12000mAh / 44.4Wh so that could power a system for about 1hr, and you can get higher capacity ones as well. So yeah crazy idea or what? will it work? It would look really cool at night with the RGB lights and all.

Hey. i just came up with an crazy idea. I want to share it with you and i am counting for a small brainstorm. i look forward in to all your thoughts and ideas about that. So i am an electronic engineer. right now i will be building my own house for me and my family. I am looking for a lot of ideas how to resolve some of the problems that i will be encountering in my house. So i am sure that i would like to have a domestic solar farm to get electricity to my house. I have a lot of land so i have no limit to how many solar panels i can have. Next thing is a heating of my house and heating water. Since i will have basically free solar energy than i cane use it for heating water in my house too. I could use a heat pump. And here is an crazy idea. There is a lot of old computers on the market with are working but they are just scraped because they are to slow or they are not efficient enough. So why not to take some of this old scrap and water cool it. Then use that heated water in bath and washing and for heating my house. I could use that compute power to folding@home or mining crypto. I know that heat pomp will be more efficient. But the thing is that i do not need efficiency. What i need is to flat out power curve of my solar power station. So i could use it earlier in the morning and later afternoon. I will transfer some of my energy back to power grid and use it later at night but there are big limitation of how much power i can transfer to the grid. Beyond that whole my solar system will stop working. Basically I want to use those old PC parts as an water heater for my house. I could get a lot of it just by visiting some IT stores. Only problem is making them water cooled but that also I could do by my own. I have a milling machine in my workshop so I can made simple water blocks from copper or aluminum plates and acrylic plates with some rubber sealings. Also since all PC’s basically working on 12 V DC than I could just use simple step down converter and power the PC’s direct from DC panels so I would not have to use more powerful and expensive inverter. So I got thinking, thermal paste is pretty good at conducting heat.... soooo.... What if... stay with me... You took a computer, fully functional with a graphics card and cpu, took off the coolers for both of them, and just filled the case to the brim with thermal paste. I Know, I know, coolers depend on surface area with a great many number of fins to dissipate the heat, but I think with that much thermal paste, a filled case would at least compete surface area wise with it depending on the case. Just thought this would be a great crazy idea that id love to see the channel do or at least would love to have a conversation about just to emphasize how silly an idea it would be outside of the obvious unwieldiness. A define r5 is 22x46x53cm meaning its 56000cm3 so it would take 35046 packages of thermal paste at 11 Canadian rupees a pop to fill this case. AKA 386000 Canadian rubles At least the shipping is free though. EDIT:2. Perhaps a more level headed idea would be making a cooler out of thermal paste in a specifically shaped 3d printed shroud. Even then though, thermal paste as ti turns out is prohibitively expensive so this idea is even more impractical and illogical than I first thought.

So I need to print 4 of the same model on my makerbot replicator 2. Each build takes up all the bed space (it needs to be printer flat), but is only 1 inch high (so I have plenty of vertical space). Is there a option to print a build, than somehow print a raft on top of that build, print a build on that raft, than print another raft on top of that build and print another build on that raft? The raft should line up perfectly with the model underneath it since I'm printing the same model on top. Effectively so I can break the pieces up separate once its done, since rafts come of easily. I need to do this, because each individual build takes 4 hours, and I have to start this print soon, and I won't be able to come back to printer for 2 days. And I need these pieces done the second I come back in two days. And no I don't have anyone else that can start the new builds

Hi everyone i've been thinking of this for a while and i was thinking you could put two or more of the tall Cooler Master: HAF stacker 935 and i was wondering if you could link up one motherboard in each stacker then over kill it with one motherboard with a core i7 with sound cards and some HDD's then another the same but with graphics cards then the other one with video cards but i have no idea if it is possible i honestly hope it is.
