I'm looking to use a pair of Corsair Hydro Series HG10 N970 to cool my GPUS. (I have an extra H60 laying around and one my buddy is no longer using). I figure the air 240 is a tight fit (It can be done http://www.corsair.com/en-us/blog/2014/november/dennis_build_log) so I think im going to get the Corsair air 540. While I'm at it I think ill get a new MOBO so i can space out my 970's. Any thoughts on this upgrade, anything you guys recommend? (different case, just using a single gpu with Water cooling, etc) Thanks a lot, Cheers

Hi LTTs community, This is my first post ever on the forums even though I've been a fan of the Youtube channel for quite some time. My issue is that I want to utilize the drive bays of the Corsair 540 by placing a dual bay reservoir for a custom loop but as you can imagine I'm concerned about drive orientation and compatibility. So, I'm asking you the ever so honorable Linus community to help me by listing any dual bay reservoirs that you know will work in that orientation or any advice from personal experiences. Also, this is my first build with a custom full H2O loop. So.... yeah I've linked the main parts I'll be using in the build here just for the hell of it. *Disclaimer: I'm going for a complete enthusiast build so bang for buck isn't a priority. I'm open to any suggestions regarding the parts too. Thanks guys & gals!

Hello. So i been thinking about getting this case Corsair 540. http://www.corsair.com/en-us/carbide-series-air-540-high-airflow-atx-cube-case mabey some of you that already own this case can help me out!? i know there is no dust filters at the top and with the powersupply, is there any place i can buy these dust filters for minimal dust. if any of you know a very good case with good airflow please suggest it. Thanks.. sorry for bad english if any.!

Okay strait to the point, from my understanding I see no difference between the 240 and 540 cases part from that 540 has an 2 bay slots and 240 haven't. So, to save money and to buy fans (Be Quiet!) would I be able to cut out the slots on the 240 case series? I would later cover the whore case with white and black Carbon Vinyl, do you think that would work? Hello, I'm having a hard time deciding a case. [What I want] 1. Decent airflow I will use H100i to cool cpu I like to use reference GPU card because..... it just looks cool idc how bad it perform compare to after market.....it just loooks awwwwwwesome 2. Looks clean and cool 3. Not extremely huge ^ I bought a pre-built pc last year (I refund it cuz it was horrible) and the case of it was huuuge. I'm not familiar with computer building things (I know all the parts and stuff but doesn't have any actual experience with pc) I just want mid sized case that doesn't look extremely dumb and big. Dimensions (HxWxD) Inches: 22.4" x 9.64" x 21.92" Front Ports: 4 x USB 3.0, HD Audio, 1x SuperCharge Front: 1 x 230mm Rear: 1 x 120mm Top: 2 x 230mm <- removed and replaced with Corsair H100i (have 2 120mm fans) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This was the case i had on my prebuilt pc and it was too big for me. 4. room for future upgrades 5. PC that can handle following spec i7 5930k Asus x99 deluxe motherboard Gtx 980 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Just put it simple because these are the main parts that "HAVE" to fit in side the case 6. Not extremely noisy I'm not really sure how loud the fans are so yeah... In my opinion, the noise from my prebuilt pc (230mm fan on the front) didn't really bothered me. <- My prebuilt pc had quiet a lot of fans running in full speed with after market video card in idle (Not really sure in under load because I refund the pc as soon as I turned it on once) [Anyway] I'm thinking about Corsair 450D, 540 and 750D. I am not sure if 750D is smaller than case from pre built pc. Not planning on doing any insane liquid cooling beside using H100i for the CPU. Also, what's better on airflow + not that loud under load 450D vs 540 vs 750D? I am planning on filling out all the fans that case can handle and I'm not sure how loud it's gonna be. I'll be fine if it's loud as 1x230mm and 3x120mm fans running in full speed. What's the best case for High airflow + future upgrade + mid size + clean looking? I'm open for any cases if it has following stats. Price doesn't matter for me.

Hi guys, I build myself my first Pc ever maybe 9 - 10 months ago and made some mistakes back then when buying the components. So I decided to slowly upgrade my Pc, first starting off with the case.. My current rig: Cpu: Intel i7 3770k Mb: Asus P8B75-M Ram: G.Skill Ripjaws 16Gb @1600Mhz Psu: 530 Watt Thermaltake HDD: Some random I found laying around Fans: Same here SSD: Adata Premiere Pro S900 128Gb Gpu: Zotac Gtx 670 Overclocked Case: Aerocool XPredator X1 The performance of this rig ain't bad, but i don't like the little details, for example the horrible cabel management in the X1, also I will prepare for SLI: I need a new Psu, Mb and a second gtx, even though i will buy that one in the end, hoping for some more price drop. Further, I will add a 1Tb HDD and another SSD for Raid0, as some better fans. To buy list: Mb: Gigabyte Z77X-DH3 Psu: Corsair HX850 HDD: WD Blue 1Tb SSD: Adata Premiere Pro S900 128Gb Gpu: Zotac Gtx 670 Fans: 3x AF120 Case: Corsair 540 Air RAM: G.Skill Ares 16Gb 1600Mhz Update 1: Today I bought myself the 540 Air, it's kinda strange to get it here in Germay.. My trusted retailers won't start shipping until October, so I was looking for some sites. It will be shipped in 6 Days, so i hope to get it in 10 days. I will give you guys some pics of my current rig before putting everything in the new case Update2: I think the next I'm going to do is the sleeving: I thought of going for black/blue Theme, since my case is black and the Mb i want to buy is main blue. I'll order them this evening, hopefully they arrive in the next two days!

Here we go guys, after thinking about building a black/yellow MPower+Lightning rig I have decided to save some bucks und go the less colourful path with my machine. Here is what I have ordered today: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 ASRock Z87 Extreme6 Intel Core i7-4770K Corsair XMS3 Dominator Platinum 2x8GB DDR3-2133, CL9 2x Samsung SSD 840 Evo Series 250GB for RAID-0 EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Classified ACX Cooler I will use this topic for my personal log. Suggestions are very welcome. Other parts, that are not listed will be reused from my current machine: Corsair 760i Power Supply, some Noiseblocker Fans and, for some time until I manage to watercool, my H80 Hydro Series Cooler. Also HDDs and 2 more SSDs for storage.

Does anyone know any official dates for the release of the new corsair 540 case? Thanks in advance :)
