I've recently purchased a Cooler master seidon 120V version 2 and with the installation i ran into a problem that the pump made a lot of noise, simply fixed that by using a different fan port and managing the speed of it to a lower RPM. it was very silent But i started my pc up today and it made a different noise than it did before. I know it is the pump because when i change the RPM, the ticking sound goes faster or slower. When i turn my pc 90 degrees, so that the cpu socket is facing up into the sky, it doesnt make the sound anymore. any1 has had this problem before and/or knows how to fix it? thx

Hi guys i have had this AIO for a while now like 4 years and it's starting to perform bad.. when i first got it my i5 3th gen was working at around 25 degrees at idle ,today it's like 45-50degrees idle and the pump is making bad noise like there is a lot of air inside the system.I tried to open it by detaching the pipe going to the pump and replacing all the old fluid with premixed 50/50 antifreeze i made sure to evacuate all the air and then closed it. after i placed it on the rig and started it it was running very well like no sound at all . just like when i got it but the temps were the same for a couple of minutes like 50 degrees after like 10 minutes of idling it started to drop to like 35 degrees and stayed there and hasn't changed since then. my question is should i replace it with a new one or is there anything i am missing or smth to make it run like it is new ?

Ok, first I'd like to just say that I am not a modder... if you're looking for that kind of build log you may as well stop here as I am not artistic, I might be a bit autistic but that's another matter entirely This is just a build log of me putting together my newest PC, with some fairly nice parts, whilst not being over the top... this build is just to make my life a bit easier with it being a little bit more portable than the behemoth I have been using for the past 18 months. I am mostly doing this build as I need a bit more grunt than my laptop can provide whilst I am away from home base. I'm not a big fan of AIO watercooling, but wanted to at least give it another go with a cheap one to see if it can come anywhere near the same performance of the beast that is the Noctua D15 air cooler that I have. If it doesn't measure up then the beast will be swapped to the new build and the seidon 120 will be burnt at the stake for being a witch, or sold along with my old parts. As this is a very straight forward build and have done dozens if not hundreds of builds/upgrades/downgrades etc... then I should be pretty much done by tomorrow when my case finally turns up, for now All I've done is got the main parts together, frankensteined my old build for parts that I need for this one, whilst still keeping that one useable I might add... then putting the backplate on, chucking the horrible TIM on the CPU and bolting it together and giving it a test POST and boot. And taking a couple of photos for now. New Parts as in tags^^^ Older parts that I am re-using:- Crucial M500 240GB M.2 SATA drive... might upgrade to NVME in the future, mobo supports both types Keyboard(s) and Mouses, various logitech ones ranging from a k750 solar rechargeable/k360 to the crappiest wireless m185 that is my daily at the moment as it's dependable. Noctua fans (if needed) - have about 4x 140 spare at the moment. Ahhhhh you get it, basically all that crap I have in my signature pretty much what I have gathered in the past 20 years (if it still works and isn't outdated/defunct) - and re-purposed as needed. Just the Hardware still in, and taken out of the boxes for this post. Will try and get better pictures tomorrow when I actually have some daylight building I can do so that I don't have to use the flash and get horrible pics. In the boxes... except seidon 120 as I did a test build already... and except case as not here yet. Just new parts of course. And... out of the boxes. see above about new parts. OK guys, that's it for this session as I am beat... will post more, if not all, tomorrow. Will try to include POST test etc etc if I remember, sometimes I get in the zone and then go "Ahh damnit, I was supposed to be taking pics" - followed by the sound of more cursing and possibly a few bashes of my head on the wall depending on how long it took me to realise

Hey guys. I have a cooler master seidon 120v that I fitted to my R9 290. I then decided to do a tubing mod to it and I've now ruined it, I use to get good temps (stock tubing) but now I'm back to 95 degrees Celsius... Balls! My solution to the problem is to get the cooler Master eisberg 120l https://m.takealot.com/#product?id=30764467 and expand it to cool both my cpu and gpu So what I actually want to know is if I can remove the rotor inside the seidon 120v and use it as a gpu water block with the cooler Master eisberg 120l as the cpu block and pump. The reason I want to do this is because a proper xspc gpu block costs 999 rand (zar) while the whole cooler Master seidon 120v only cost me 700 rand. To put it in really simple terms: convert aio pump/block to only a block

I'm stuck with choosing a cooler for my pc. I have an AMD FX-8320 and the stock cooler sucks. I'm planning to buy an aftermarket cooler but i can't find if the coolers will fit in my case. My case is the Sharkoon vg4-w and i'm having doubts between the cooler master hyper 212 evo and the cooler master seidon 120v ref 2. If someone has this case and one of these coolers in it please answer my question. Thanks
