Hi so on january 1 my pc desided to stop working. I found dark shiny spotd on the motherboard. So i asume its broken? But how idk. But i bought a new motherboard and ram. And replaced the old parts. But now im having a ton of bluescreens. Windows coruptions. Infinant blackscreen with a loading icon. My pc dosent display any errors on the motherboard. And ive ben trying to install a clean windows install. But when windows reboots during install it bluescreens. Can it be the cpu having issiues? I bought ram that is on suported category for the mothberboard. The cpu is suported for the motherboard to. After installing and opening Minecraft mods from Curseforge (application not the browser), my pc kept blue screening. Even after going to Microsoft Support twice, both told me to wipe and reinstall W11, and getting a new M.2 ssd to install W11 on. However the problem keeps persisting, even after the installs and the new M.2 SSD. I've had this PC a month before all before this all these issues started. Note: Also between replacing an ssd, i did also switch my old GPU with a new one. I updated the bios and cleared the CMOS, still blue screen. My pc has been to repairstore but the only thing they concluded is that it could be the motherboard being faulty or the graphics card (or that i accidentally have caused the cpu short circuit.) According to the guy that checked, he tested the motherboard without my GPU with another one, the BSOD did became less but did not go away. I send the motherboard back to store where i bought it from for repairs, they said the motherboard had no issues when testing it and they also updated the bios. (However when i got it back, i couldnt install windows 11 anymore. doing every test in W10 now) In the beginning it was fine but after running for a few hours and updating W10 + drivers. It started blue screening again. I still get bluescreened even when im just starting up the PC. I put a different cpu (12th gen instead 13) to test if it was the cpu causing the issues but then i get met with a black screen. So im stuck and I dont know what to do, any advice or tips is appreciated. So my pc has been crashing since I got it in 2018. I think now I might be a ram dimm because I've replaced my GPU, Motherboard and I've wiped my current boot drive once already and I still get these hard crashes. After my upgrade to a new GPU I stopped getting bluescreens for almost 2 weeks. Now they're back. Event viewer is out of my knowledge base, but maybe someone here can tell me something from this info? I might just have to bring it to memory express, but I wanna bring them some info if I can. In the system during last crash it says driver\WudRd failed to load for a device? Application crashing was Valheim. Faulting module name: Unityplayer.dll, exception code 0x0000000000013ffa0f ID: 0x3100 I can't figure out why some games crash and others don't but it's frustrating bluescreening mid game with friends. So just to say I am a long time viewer of LTT, but this is my first time in the forum's so if I've missed something or if this is the wrong place I do apologise. So I have a Lenovo y70-70 windows 10 laptop, 16gb ram, core i7, 1tb Samsung Evo SSD (fitted around 1 year ago). So starting around May I got the occasional blue screen, but I didn't think much of it. I was moving and stuff so unusually my laptop was hardly used for a month or so. The blue screens are getting worse though. Sometimes it's multiple per day other times I'll get a week without any. Sometimes it's when I open a program other times its when I wake the laptop from sleep. All help and advice is really appreciated. I don't want to replace the laptop if possible as except for this admittedly large problem it's going great.

Hi guys, I've recently built this pc for my girlfriend (https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/ZcRvqp). When I've installed windows and all the other programs, everything was fine, however few days later bluescreens started to pop up after few hours of using the pc (not heavy usage just web browsing, YouTube and some casual games like among us and so on), but with every day it gets worser, for example today when we have turned on the pc as soon as the pc boots to desktop bluescreen pops up then again same thing happens and then the 3rd time it boots normally and we can use the pc with no problem but this issue is very annoying and I was wondering if you guys could help us with fixing it. Hello I recently upgraded my cpu, motherboard, and I would continuously get blue screens and crashes. I managed to establish the problem, and that there wasn’t enough power getting to my CPU from my measly 450 watt psu, so I upgraded to a 600 watt, and that appeared to do the trick. However, after 3 or so weeks, it’s back at it again, bluescreening and completely shutting down and not allowing me to turn it back on for a few minutes, and it’s left me stumped specs AMD Ryzen 5 5600x CPU AsRock x570 Phantom Gaming 4 Wifi ax Kingston value ram 16gb (2x8gb) 2133mhz Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1650 mini itx OC GPU Samsung 860 EVO 500gb SATA SSD Seagate 1tb HDD EVGA 600GD 80+ gold PSU (600w) Coolermaster Masterbox K501L case I think it’s because the RAM is too slow, because the stop code is MEMORY_MANAGEMENT but I’m not convinced. I know it’s not faulty, because when I put in my old i5 6600 and Gigabyte motherboard, it works completely fine. I’m also very curious as to why it shuts off randomly (sometimes when I’m not even using it), and won’t turn back on no matter how long I press the power button, so I have to pull the cable out of the psu for 30 seconds or so to get it to work again many thanks to anyone who has a solution

The error above is one of many I've gotten since first getting the computer several months ago - it's an Artesian build, so I guess I'm not surprised given what went down there. Nothing is overclocked; everything should be at factory settings. Local tech support is stumped, as stress testing produces no errors and internal temperatures all read fine. Could be a faulty part, but it's difficult to check because it can take a while to produce a crash. Any suggestions?

Ran Memory Diagnostic(MDSCHED) no prob, Ran MemTest86 like 3-4h no prob. Tried Driver Verifier, got 2 error, first was the mouse, change it didn't fix it. Second was asio3.sys but that's AMD driver, and its up to date, and now it's just that.(if anyone has a fix on that pls send it, that maybe the problem) Ran SFC, Ran CHKDSK, Ran DISM, DID A NEW WINDOWS INSTALL(2 times) didn't fix it.... No rule when it happens, so idk what else to do. Upgraded bios half a year ago. Switched to W11 1/4 year back. When i switched to W11 i started to have blue screens. In the begining it was one blue screen, two times a week. This week it was already 5 blue screens every day... I decided that i will reinstall my windows. I was not able to finish instalation of W11. freezed every time after computer was running for 1-2 minutes or autorestarted (crashed) during the different parts of the instalation. Sometimes when files were being copied. Sometimes when i was naming my computer or trying to log into my microsoft account. I was never able to finish the instalation. Freeze ment i was not able to move my mouse or disable enable numlock key on my keyboard. crashed ment unexpected auto restart I was not able to finish instalation of W10. same behaviour I was not able to finish instalation of Ubuntu. same behavior I tried to install 6-7 different bios versions via USB flashback bios. No change I decided to unmount and mount my RAM and CPU. No change I tried it running with only one memory stick. With first No change. With second No change I tested my CPU and RAM in my friends computer. We tried benchmark for several minutes and everything was fine. So we though that CPU and RAMs are okay I bought new MB ASUS ROG STRIX B550-XE GAMING Wifi hoping that the problem is in MB. Did not help. Same problems. From now on all testing is happening on new MB Tried multiple Bios updates, no change I tried to run it with different GPU card. GTX960 borrowed from my friend confirmed it is working on his system, no change I started to suspect my SSD so i removed it from MB and tried to install OS on different SSD which i know is working connected via Sata 6. no change At this point i disconnected all front IO, front USB and Case fans headers from MB, left only CPU fan and i was starting my PC via screewdriver, no change Last resort. I tried connect 24 Pin and 8 pin for CPU from different PSU. jumped one PSU before and run this new PSU normaly and again, freeze during instalation. (I know, very sketchy, but i'm desperate) The other thing is that im not able to run computer with D.O.C.P (XMP) on both my Asus boards but i was able to run it on my friends MB. It will not start properly on Asus boards. Always started in safe mode with RAM 2488Mhz Im always able to enter my bios. Any ideas? Im starting to incline again towards the problem with CPU or RAM. Tomorrow Im running again to my friend to borrow his RAMs and try it with them. If you have any more questions, dont hesitate to ask. Im really struggling here...

I need help ASAP. I have a pc I will be giving to my brother as a gift in the next 3 days. I need help now! So I installed "Windows 10" & everything was going smoothly until I setup the drivers and got a error by AMD saying "Windows update in progress" I went to task manager and noticed my GPU had not shown up. A couple seconds later loud fan noises then boom blue screen! I had connected my monitor to my GPU but it still works I was unsure as to what had happen. Please help me!

Hi, I just built a new pc and when i play from steam games like Deadside, CSGO, Black Dessert and other games it crashes and it exits the game randomly and im getting frustated when it happens. Sometimes the game freezes and it restart the pc with a blue screen that says restarting with a % that says from 10-100% of restarting. I placed the mini dumps below cuz someone told me its useful. I dont know what to do please give some solutions. I've posted about this on different forums but rarely get any answers, the main ones I have been getting is concerning drivers but I'm quite sure they're all updated. Specs: Motherboard- H81M-ITX GPU- GTX 970 CPU- intel i5-4590 RAM- 8GB OS- Windows 10. I'm currently updated with the current version of nvidia drivers and I've used the app shop to get drivers for the motherboard since that seems to be the only way to get the correct ones. The blue screens are rather rare but with them popping up different errors all the time I can't figure what the hell might be wrong. Now i do have an old Windows 7 and windows 8 folder sitting in my hard drive as I was going through upgrades hoping to fix the bluescreens. They decreased dramatically with windows 10, maybe once a week generally, but either way i don't must like it! Hello, I recently built a new PC but I keep getting blue screens, graphics card driver crashes, and boot loops. I have reinstalled different windows versions (Home, Pro, Pro N) several times but it didn't help. My system components are: Asus ROG STRIX B450-F Gaming AMD Ryzen 2700X Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200Mhz 2 x 16GB 2x Samsung 850 Evo 250GB Gigabyte RX 580 Gaming 8GB be quiet! Straight Power 11 650W The blue screen errors are: irql_not_less_or_equal pfn_list_corrupt kmode_exception_not_handled kernel_security_check_failure I use Windows 10 Pro N and the latest AMD drivers 20.1.3, I also tried 19.2.2, but there are the same problems. If I install the latest chipset drivers, it gets even worse, the picture often freezes, and the graphics card drivers crash even more frequently. I have boot loops relatively rarely and if I can end them with a reset. They arise when I am in Windows, then the computer suddenly goes out and boot loops IMG_2752.mov I don't know what to do, so I'm grateful for any help

First my windows is giving me bluescreens when i render something in premiere or 3dmax studio. I found the problem I think. My overclock was not set correctly, so i decide to put it on default with 3600mhz . But in premiere pro i need to render with my CPU not with GPU , and it takes to long to render some clips. If i render with CPU on 3600mhz with default setting on overclock , it works. So if u can help me with some good and decent setting with overclock. And why i get this? Why my PC is freezing and the bluescreen? Maybe it's not correctly overclock .. i dont know .. and btw. I bought this PC 1 year ago. But now i change my windows boot on M.2 and from there i got bluescreens maybe. Is there any simple fix to fix the bluescreens? my pc specs are: i5-4670k 780ti corsair vegeance pro 16gb 2x8gb 2400 MHz 1.65v CS650M (total power draw is max 380W when gaming) asus z87-pro samsung 840 evo 250gb ssd H60 cpu cooler, i think thats the important stuff. Could there be something wrong with the ram? i heard i5-4670k supports only 1.5v ram... If you guys need me to upload the minidumb files ill do it.

Hey everybody, this is a re-post from a previous post with way more info and progress. Previously, I had been getting random BSOD and crashes with the game and had no idea what was causing it. I recently re-installed windows on my PC and still am having the issue, but its come to a way more solid point. When ever it bluescreens I get the error below and no different. So I've come to the conclusion that this game just doesn't like my graphics card. I wanted to ask for your guys info before I go and spend $400 and end up wasting it. Is this going to get patched? Because my graphics card isn't faulty, it runs BF3-4, all the cods, and anything else without issues.
