So my sound and my microphone is working perfectly fine. I upgraded to Ryzen and the GIGABYTE AX370 Gaming 5. Everything works perfectly. However, when I go into the Sound Blaster software to do adjustments for my liking, it pops up with this error box: "The current selected audio device is disabled, not present, not supported by the application, or has unplugged jack connections." If everything is working fine, how do I get it to recognize my headphones? I'm using the Sennheiser Game Zero's. All updates are installed and all connections are plugged in correctly. Thanks guys!

I was wondering if the new Sound blaster AE-5 card would be better than the Sound Blaster ZXr Card.

I just moved my MB into a new case and reinstalled windows on a new SSD. For some reason, the sound card is lighting up but Creative Lab's driver for the card will not recognize the card. I tried the other PCIe slot and still having the same issue. I also updated the bios as well if that mean anything.

Does anyone get this problem where you cast a video from a website the TV receive everything from sound and music but then mute the speaker? basically I got chromecast and cast a video from a website from my computer to the TV. The video sound work coming from the TV, but then everything from my computer stop producing sound from the speaker. I tried reset my computer, reinstall the drivers and search on the web but no luck. In the volume controller it said there should be sound coming out but it not registering it in the speaker, however it does work with headphone. this only happen after I cast one video. Would love to know how to resolve this issue...

i have a laptop which has an integrated sound card mentioned above.it for some reason has stopped recognising my wireless headphones.my windows can.sound is coming from it but sound blaster tweaks in sound really improved listening..any help??

Hi everyone, I'm having a few issues with my sound card at the moment and I'm not too sure what's going on. Here's a bit of back story... I installed the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy FX sound card around 3 years ago which worked the moment I installed the drivers. Around 3 months ago I decided to reformat my computer and re-install windows just to clear a lot of unwanted junk off. As I expected my sound card was no longer working due to the drivers not being installed. I went to the Creative website, found the correct drivers for my card and installed them.. Everything was running smoothly until I got a message stating that I do not have any device installed for these drivers (I can't remember the exact message but it was something similar to that). It's almost as if windows doesn't detect the card at all.. I'm about 99% sure that the drivers I'm trying to install are the correct ones. I hold my hands up and say that I haven't gone into too much depth into finding any solution for this, other that attempting to install the correct drivers. I'm going to try installing the card into a different PCI slot and see if that gives me any luck. Other than that, I'm not really sure what to try... I appreciate any help or advice.

I have the Logitech X-530 5.1 Surround Sound System and the Creative Sound Blaster Z Sound Card. I have it all setup correctly and all. 5.1 surround sound works and everything else is working correctly. However, I have a problem. When I have "5.1 Surround Sound" selected, all stereo audio (like music for example) sounds bad coming from the front-left and front-right speakers. It's sounds horribly weak, no bass, and just... Yuk. But when I select "Stereo" or "Stereo Direct", music sounds great and has all the bass and everything like it should. Is there any way to fix this? I'd rather have "5.1 Surround Sound" selected at all times instead of having to switch to "Stereo Direct" for just music or other Stereo Only programs/games.

Hi guys i have run in to a problem with my newly purchased crative sound blaster z sound card. The problem is that when i am using my headset the sound tends to travel from left to right quit alot and it is super annoying. I have already tride to reinstal the drivers. the problem occurs when i have my headset plugged in to the jacks on the sound card itself. All help is wery much appreciated. ps sorry for my broken english

So, I have one of these cards just lying around and I know it works but it works in windows xp I have a regular pci slot on my motherboard, and I'd like to use it as a third output/input. Problem is, I'm running windows 8 pro 64-bit. Question is, does anyone know where I can find drivers for it. It will not work without drivers :angry: It's the regular card you buy from creative, it didn't come with a dell computer difference is hardware dsp vs software dsp on dell model, not sure if that helps

So I'm looking to put a high end sound card into my computer, I want to spend around $150-$300 on it. I need the sound-card to have both a headphone output (100Ohms or more) and also support 5.1 surround. I've currently been looking at the Creative Sound Blaster ZXR, it's a great card with everything I need, but there are barely any reviews on it (I want Linus to do one), so I'm worried something might be slightly wrong about it? If you have any suggestions for other cards just mention them below, other wise, why hasn't anyone been doing reviews on the ZXR?

In the past when Creative released the Creative Sound Blaster Z and the ZX everyone was doing reviews on them! Now when they released the ZXR no one does reviews? Explain?

Ok, so I have had a Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion Series for around 2 years now running in my main gaming system. Then one day, Inexplicably, the speaker let out a soft pop without any audio load, the "X-Fi" light went out on the side and audio was no more. I tried reinstalling drivers, letting windows 7 update install drivers, and reseating it in the slot/trying a different slot. It is running logitech X-530 5.1 speakers with all of the jack plugged in (analog) but software configured to 2.1. It is also in an ASUS Rampage III Extreme motherboard. There was something peculiar when I tried putting it into another system though... I put it into my media PC with an MSI Z87M-G43 and plugged in the optical cable going from the card to my Onkyo TX-NR609 receiver. Without any drivers installed it worked in 2.0 mode! I am 100% sure that it was coming from the soundcard because the only audio cable plugged into the PC was in the X-Fi card. The HDMI audio from the GTX 650 Ti Boost was disabled in the nVidia control panel, i'm certain. As of now, the card is recognized as "High Definition Audio Device", in my experiences, a very generic name, lol. I then ran windows update which installed drivers for Creative X-Fi Audio Device - WDM. After restarting, the card did not work. It was showing up as "Creative SB X-Fi", and the drivers had been installed. The weird thing is that, although device manager detected the card as "Creative SB X-Fi", when I tried to launch the Creative Audio Control Panel, it said something to the effect of, "The audio device supported by this application is not detected. The application will exit." At this point the light on the side of the card still wasn't on (and hadn't been since it "died" in my main machine. When I went to test the audio device in Control Panel-->Hardware and Sound-->Sound, the green bar showed that the test audio was playing, but nothing was coming out of the speakers. When I went into the SPDIF out-->Properties-->Advanced and tried to change the Default format from "2 Channel, 24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality)" to "2 Channel, 24 bit, 96000 Hz (Studio Quality", it would change, but when I pressed "Test" to the right of the selection box, a window popped up saying, "Failed to Play Test Tone." This worked before I installed the drivers. The only two options that come up in the Control Panel-->Hardware and Sound-->Sound-->Playback menu are SPDIF out - Creative SB X-Fi - Default Device, Internal AUX Jack - Creative SB X-Fi - Disabled, and then all of the nVidia disabled audio options. On the recording side of things, there is Digital-In - Creative SB X-Fi - Default Device, "What U Hear" - Creative SB X-Fi - Disabled, Microphone FP - Creative SB X-Fi - Disabled-unplugged, and Line-In - Creative SB X-Fi - Disabled-unplugged. I really don't know what else to do! I am sorry to bombard whoever is reading this with a bloody book, but it is how it is. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
