Hi! Recently I got a mousepad from the company Aura mech, specifically their Purple Storm design: https://auramech.com/collections/desk-pad/products/gb-purple-storm I spilled some liquid on it and it stained. I really want to restore this mat to its old glory. The website says "Machine Washable" so I can assume that means that I can put it in the.... washing machine? Or should I dunk it in a bathtub with some dish soap? Thanks!

This only started a few days ago, but every time I turn on/wake my PC, the ASUS Aura-powered lighting in my PC turns off shortly after being functional for a few seconds. These just include the motherboard lighting and a couple of LED strips connected to an RGB header. I have all the lights in my setup set to white, including these, and I haven't changed any of it for several months now. Like I said, this is a fairly recent issue, and my stopgap solution is opening Aura every time and resetting the lights back to normal. They'll be fine until the next time I turn on/wake my system. I also double-checked my BIOS settings, but nothing was out of place there either. Any idea what I should do? If it helps, I have an ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming motherboard, and two generic LED strips daisy-chained to connect to a single header.

I'm switching from a Radeon 6900 XT Sapphire Nitro+ OC to a GeForce RTX 3080 ASUS ROG Strix. My motherboard is the ASUS ROG Hero VIII. I was able to control the RGB of my Sapphire card via Armory Crate. The Sapphire card had a RGB header built-in. The Strix card doesn't appear to have one. I am trying to plan my cable management. My question is, how will the Strix card's RGB be controlled? Are the RGB signals transferred through the PCIE slot instead of being plugged into an RGB header on the motherboard?

Got the last of my parts yesterday. Couple issues arose, one of them being one of four RAM sticks stopped lighting up.(3) I don't need help getting programs to work, I just want all four of my modules to light up. Between one DIMM not working with almost any pattern and having rainbows, I'll take the rainbows. Works great too, all 32gb. MB: Asus Crosshair 8 Dark Hero RAM: Trident Z Royal 4x8 - F4-3600C14Q-32GTRSB Note: Windows asked me repair my OS yesterday to, despite being a new install. Nervous first boot, everything looked great! Updated Bios, got a prompt to install Asus Armory Crate, so I did. Used it to install my drivers, played first game to "see what I bought". Not bad. Finally went into Armoury to play around with RGB, it's great. While personalizing Windows, it freaked out not showing anything in the menu when I went to turn on small icons. Tried to shutdown and I couldn't, cursor and menus "responded" but nothing actually worked, hard shutdown. This was when Windows wanted me to repair. Repair finished and Armoury Crate was missing, Steam was broken, and poor Teamspeak. Reinstall. Then really got into playing with RGB after installing Aura. It's really great! Noticed DIMM 3 was now out. Reboot. Only 3 DIMMS showing in Aura. Reboot. Now missing in Armoury. Reboot. Missing in WINDOWS. Swap 3 and 4. FIXED! 32gb RAM and RGB! While playing a game #3 goes out again. Turned off/on RGB, shutdown psu off for 3m, reinstalled Armoury and Aura, swap DIMMS 3 and 4. Same issue, good, it's software. Ignorantly thought G. Skills Software would help, installed G. Skill Lighting. (Forgot, don't have more than 1) Nothing. Uninstall Lighting, Aura and Armoury via Windows. Nothing. Read that I need to do it long hand. Did so with Revo Uninstaller Pro. No luck after full shutdown. Came back to the problem later, swap 3 and 4 again, now the issue followed the DIMM.. DIMM 4 is now out. That's where I'm at, thinking of doing a fresh Win install, read it might work. Mostly because I've read that there are few who are flashing their DIMMs? Something to do with SPD and re-binning, idk, it's above me and I just got this RAM I'd rather return/replace. Regardless, thank you for your time! Cheers!

One of my ram sticks rgb isn't connecting to anything other than asus aura, it wont even connect to the Gskill rgb software. when i remove the working stick, the problem is solved but as soon as i add it back in the rgb only works on one stick while the other is in a continuous rgb cycle. HELP, I JUST BUILT THIS PC 3 WEEKS AGO.

Never have I had to stumble upon this problem eh? I have quite a bit of RGB that are all compatible with Aura Sync. I also plan on purchasing the ASUS GT501 computer case along with the EK AIO Elite 360m. I've been hunting around Amazon, Newegg, YouTube, and other places and I have found almost nothing. I say almost because I found a few, but apparently people had issues with them especially their systems not turning on because of it. With all this RGB, is there a decent RGB Hub that I could use? I appreciate it.

Guys I'd suggest if you buy asus laptop i mean those which support per key rgb thing or a-RGB simply register your device and then clean install windows when you get it and install all the required necessary softwares from the asus site which you can easily find once you open asus site go to my account then my products section. After that when you install Armoury crate and aura creator they won't show any issue and detect all devices. If anything goes bad at some point you just have to uninstall armoury crate and aura service along with lightning service add-on in apps and features in windows. And install the armoury crate and aura creator from the setup you can install them both together. It'll download and install everything necessary it'll all get fixed. Why i say clean install windows is because it fixes every issue because sometimes you might uninstall everything and reinstall aura creator just dont detect devices. This pretty much fixed my issue when i got zephyrus S. I hope it fixes yours too. If you can't afford a clean windows install you can still try the method it pretty much works

Hello there, so ive got an Asus X470 rog strix -f. Everything was running perfectly until they replaced their AURA sync software with the armoury crate. My issue is that the mobo's onboard rgb strip seems abnormal. Sometime it works but its not in sync plus, armoury doesnt detect it. other times, it gets completely off. RAM and D'RBG-connected fans work perfectly and they are always on sync. Any ideas? Its not the end of the world but it gets on my nerves and my ocd levels are off the charts, haha! Things i tried but never worked: reinstallation of armoury crate older bios even had a full fresh install of windows disable/enable aura through bios running latest bios (5833) latest armoury crate app (3.3.7.0) updated all devices through armoury's update center Thank you!

I am using 2x8GB Crucial Ballistix RGB 3200 RAM with an Asus TUF B450 motherboard and my RGB software is armoury crate. I've had this issue for a while. In a perfect world, my RAM would look like this (I changed the colors in armoury crate because my crappy phone camera couldn't see the difference between cyan and blue): working.mp4 but 4 out of every 5 times at boot, it does this instead (in slow-motion because my crappy phone camera also couldn't see the flickering otherwise): flickering.mp4 It looks like the ram sticks both get the color they're supposed to get, then flicker between that and the other stick's color. I can somewhat circumvent this in two ways: 1) Reboot until it decides to work 2) Assign a similar rgb profile where both sticks use the same animation so the flicker isn't visible none of which I like. Windows 10 is up to date. Armoury crate is up to date too and this has been going on for several versions. I don't really like the idea of reinstalling armoury crate because last time I did, everything worked even less for 2 weeks, and at this point I consider RGB to be some sort of black magic. I am not using any other RGB software, apart from Ballistix MOD which is installed on my PC (not running) but it's what allows any of this to work in the first place.

Does anyone know what team will sync with asus aura? I've read that the G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB will buy I wanted to make sure. Any other known compatable options would be appreciated.

Heyho! Long story short: Nothing I do in Aura creator does anything. Not a single glimpse of light. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I had armory crate installed and after beeing extremely dissapointed with it I uninstalled it and installed the older aura software (which has many more, much beter effects). I know I cant select my aura creator profile in the old software, but Creator itself applies effects and also tries to show them live. But If i click apply it just turns everything off (presumably because it doesnt work correctly). It did that with the newest armory crate as well. Oh and also the mainboard itself isnt doing anything with the old software; it was with the new. (You can see in the pic its kind of grayed out, while the ram and strips shown white. I attached a pic of what aura and aura creator looks like for me. PS: I know that all asus aura software is total sh*t. I hate it. But apparently there is not a single 3rd party software for this... If anyone knows anything, please let me know.

So I installed asus aura and armoury crate. They work as it should except I only get 2 leds to light up. There is an option to change it to 120 max but it won't let me. Now I am wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this? It has worked before so I know it should work. I think it happened after I had to do a update before shutting down my pc.

Will any rgb led strip with a 4 pin connector work with asus aura on asus motherboards. More specifically, will this strip be compatible with it? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NAIAHUE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

do those asus AURA rgb headers on the motherboard work with any old rgb strip? i have seen this page which shows ROG certified (bullshit marketing) products, but what is special about these cases that makes them ROG certified? im in the market for a new case and i do want the RGB stuff that the case has to be compatible with asus aura but i do not know what to look for in a case so it can do this. and completely unrelated to cases, what RGB fan's can be connected to an RGB header on asus motherboards? is that even possible? i would love a working uniform system.

I hope I'm not breaking any rules here by hyperlinking, but I am looking to get my bits working together before I purchase them. Motherboard: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157746 RAM: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820232480#close I am trying to find out if G.Skill Tridents would be able to light up and use the RGB effects with the ASRock board as they would with an ASUS board with Aura. Does anyone know? Thanks!

Hey guys I was looking at the GALAX gtx1080 EXOC-SNPR RGB and was wondering if there was any method to sync it with aura sync, as a lot of the build I want uses aura sync. I would just get an ASUS gtx1080 except my build is white/blue and a black graphics card would really stand out. Thanks guys!

Has anyone else had a problem getting aura to open and stay open? It's in task manager but once it opens for a qtr of a second it closes. Could it be because of CAM or CUE?

So when I got to uninstall Asus AURA off my machine, it comes up with the usual uninstalling screen, but then two CMD windows appear, disappear, then a message appears saying the software has successfully uninstalled, but the application is still there and works like nothing has happened. What can I do to get rid of this?

So I want to add a little flair to my PC by installing some CableMod RGB strips into my case however I am not sure if the ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming MB is able to power RGB strips at all. After doing a little research I found out that the Pro Gaming cannot control RGB from the BIOS but I still want to add that final touch to my build. I am comparing my MB to the ROG MAXIMUS VIII HERO ALPHA which has RGB headers. In the end it boils down to can you power RGB cables even without RGB headers on the motherboard? (if so where would you power them from?). Thanks guys and sorry if it sounds a little confusing! I have asus B250F mobo and it has 1 rgb header. Currently i have 1 extension for LED which came included with the motherboard. I am planning to have 2 aura compatible leds my question is can a regular 4 pin led splitter work and aura can still control the lights of these aura compatible LED's. ps: without daisy chain.
