I'm looking for a RAM for the Z690 Aorus Master, it happens that one of the specific RAMs I've been looking for is on the QVL list of the RAM vendor itself, but not on the QVL list of the motherboard vendor. Does it still mean it should work fine on the motherboard? RAM Make and Model: G. Hi All - Hope someone has encountered this or can shed some light. PC was running fine for months. Then out of the blue (no pun intended), left it on OBS w/ Premiere Pro, came back & series of reboots with “Preparing Automatic Repair”. Should note this is right after post. Able to get into the BIOS & set all to factory. Made three different bootable USB’s, BIOS detects and attempts to boot however they also get stuck in the “Preparing repair” crash loop. what I’ve tried - reboots, USB’s, reseat ram slot by slot, remove all HD and isolate USB media, replaced UPS power cable, checked all other cables and connectors. System Specs CPU - AMD 3800XT MB - Aorus X570 Master Ram - Corsair Vengeance 32K GPU - 3090FE Nvlink PSU - Thor 1200W BIOS ver - F32 (downgraded from F33 as I thought that might be the culprit) Again - Any info helps and is appreciated. Hello everyone, I managed to get an RTX 3090 Aorus Master ( finally ) (it's not just for gaming, I do 3D modelling, real time preview rendering and video editing) I wanted to know if anyone here got one too, to compare our GPU-Z's datas. For example my Idle GPU Temperature is between 40 and 45, at first I thought that was too high, I thought maybe it should be in the 30 - 35°, but then I saw that it was actually good compared to other cards, here's a link https://www.techpowerup.com/review/msi-geforce-rtx-3090-gaming-x-trio/31.html Then I had an idea: let's talk about our 3090 Aorus Master cards, If we encounter any problem etc, should be a good idea to post here so that we try to figure out our problems! Here's my first problem: Yesterday while I was playing League of Legends, the 3 screens lost signal, turned black and the gpu fans ramp up at 100% I think (very loud) I had to reboot the pc to be able to to something. I got super scared, as this card is my worktool now not just for playing, does anyone have an idea of what happened ? I saw some topics similar to what happened to me but everyone is saying something different (but everytime related to a game) Here's my parts: -CPU: AMD 3950x -CPU Cooler: Dark Rock Pro 4 -MB: Asus TUF Gaming Plus x570 -GPU: RTX 3090 Aorus Master -PSU: Cooler Master MWE 750 +80 BRONZE Does anyone have an idea of what it could be ? I recently completed my first PC build with Gigabyte Z490 AORUS Master motherboard. On PSU (Cooler Master v850 ) power on every time it is observed the motherboard logo lights flickers for a split of second like a light rush. Other than PC boots normally. Greetings, Currently just built a higher end 9900k, on an Aorus Master z390, 2080ti, all on a water cooled loop on a 1000W PS. Will not be Overclocking the 9900K yet. I just merged my 2X16GB Micron ram over from my 8700K and MSI Z370A Pro build and it hasn't been going to well, I had to OC this Ballistix Tactical ram to 3200 and adjust timings just to get stable OS. Other wise simple OS startups would make the screens flash on and off. Its stable now at 3200 but still wont handle OC on my 2080ti. So I'm getting the new set of dual ram / B-Die to run at t1 higher speed/lower timing Trident Z F4-3600C16Q-32GTZKK rated at 3600 16-16-16-36. Does anyone happen to have a full list of suggested timing for this ram? I will default the VCCSA and VCCIO at 1.2, but would love a more extensive timing line up to play with rather than just taking the XMP profile. QVL on ram is compatible with the Aorus Master I would just really love to get an idea of where to start. I'm kind of new to messing with DDR4 timings and have done a ton of research up to this point and really just need the extra input so I can see how my thoughts and understandings compare. Hello there ! First post on this forum, i'll try to make it quick ! I recently decided to upgrade my old rig so i went and bought: i9 9900k + 2080 from aorus + 4x8Go 3600 CAS 16 from Ballistix (here is the reference: BLE4K8G4D36BEEAK) + 1To mp510 from Corsair, running on a z390 Aorus master. My point is: did i make something wrong in my choosing ? I mean compatibility wise. Did i pick up components that are not supposed to work with eachother ? Why am I asking this you say? Because when I assembled those pieces together, they worked fined for maybe 40min then the PC froze. Since then it won't post. The MB gets stuck on weird error codes like D4 (04 ?) or 71 which are respectively referenced as "reserved" and "PCH SMM initialisation" (wtf is that ?! even the tech guy from gigabyte couldn't tell me what it is). Of course i tried to reset, Clear CMOS, use back up bios etc it's always the same. The only thing that creates a different outcome is when i boot with no RAM installed, in which case i can hear the continuous beeps. Anyway, I called tech support, they provided me with a brand motherboard, but nothing changed. Same error code, so as im writing those lines, my CPU and RAM aer getting replaced, but i can't but wonder.... Did i do something wrong or is it just my karma that's really really bad ? PS: do you guys know something about code 71 on aorus card ? i've been loonking for answer but couldn't find a hint. Such a shame i read so many good comments on this MB Since it's my first post and english is not my first language, i'm sorry if my writing is tough to go through. Thx for reading !

I’m having this issue where I get a motherboard error code "04" upon boot and sometimes only one out of the three case fans are spinning. Even when temps are increasing in games etc it don’t seem to trigger them. Hi guys, so I was pretty set on getting the x570 Aorus Master motherboard for my new build until I realized that Gigabyte's Fusion RGB 2.0 wouldn't work with Aura Sync. This sucks because I already have a Strix 1070 that I don't plan on upgrading, but that uses Aura sync. What really drew me to the Master was the design aesthetic of all the heatsinks and "armor plating". Their onboard audio also seems to be advertised to be really good, but I've also heard that their BIOS sucks (maybe they improved it for the x570?). Anyways I just need help deciding if I should change my motherboard to an ASUS one or not, and which one because I didn't really research Asus x570 boards. Some things that are important for me are WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, high quality audio, 3 M.2 slots would be nice for future-proofing, close performance compared to the Master, nice RGB lighting, and probably more will come up in the discussion. Hi all, Just need help with my CPU temp. I used to average 35°c on idle. Now all of a sudden I get a spike up to 75°c. Not sure why? when I check on task manager it closes before I know why it spikes.please note I didn't change any of my hardware (stated below). Checked antivirus nothing there any help??????? the only thing I know that works is loading up Task manager again when it spikes and temps go back to normal. yes I did clean PC of dust and have got T Grizzly thermal paste.applied. computer specs: cooler master MBL600 case Aorus Z390 master i9-9900k Aorus 2080ti xtreme Cooler master 240 lite (scythe slipstream fans 110CFM x2) Crucial sport ballistix 8GBx2 3000mhz Crucial mx500 ssd x2 Silicon power m.2 512gb scythe slipstream fans 110CFM x2 exhaust fans top and rear Corsiar RM850x please help as its annoying!!!

Hello! I recently discovered that there are 2 types of boards: 1: Daisy Chain & 2: T-Topology. From what I’ve heard, the daisy chain type works better with 2 memory modules, while the t-topology works better with 4 memory modules. Some say on the internet that the Z390 Aorus Master is T-Topology type. I couldn’t find a good link on this subject for this particular board. I use my PC as a workstation for music production. I don’t enable memory XMP (it’s a PnP type anyway). To me, it’s not so important to run memory at super speed, because I’m not a gamer. But I do need to move around large audio files, so I’d like to increase my memory size from 32GB to 64GB. Questions: 1. Is Z390 Aorus Master a t-topology type? 2. Is there a way to check if it’s a t-topology or a daisy chain type? 3. Is there something else that I should know?

Hey guys so i overclocked my 3950X to 4.4 Ghz on all cores at 1.400 volts and it's stable i stressed tested it it works fine however when i boot the PC it just Post's Twice. So for the X570 Aorus Master (Any Aorus Motherboard) when it posts it show's the Aorus logo then goes directly into windows that's normal but in my case it show's the Aorus Logo then the screen goes black for 6 seconds then show's the Aorus Logo again and then finally goes into windows causing a huge delay. So i don't know why this occurs it's kinda annoying. It should just post once and go into windows after showing the Aorus Logo just once. Also when the PC is in sleep mode and you wake it up the PC restarts twice the same way as i described above. By the way this doesn't occur on default bios settings it's obviously an overclock setting.
