Since I have updated to Windows 10 Anniversary Update, I've been experiencing a strange behaviour of the OS. Mainly being prominent in the file explorer I have lags where the files background I hover over with the mouse doesn't change to blue, the window of file details is completely transparent (same with all of the other right-click menus, even in chrome) and it's overall laggy and it can take up to several seconds for the GUI to refresh. I found out that by pressing the print key it forces it to refresh, hence I couldn't do screenshots. Hey guys I'm having this really weird problem.. I just bought a 120gb Adata SSD and installed windows 10 anniversary edition on it and I formatted my old 1tb HDD! So the anniversary edition booted up it updated to latest build some September build they said they fixed all the SSD related issues.. But whenever i try to play The Crew or Gta V at some point my pc will just instantly shut down.. No shut down warning or anything its like an instant power cut! I formatted everything checked power settings did everything possible still no luck! I have a Gtx 960 2gb and 8gb Ram core i3-3210 in a gigabyte H60mS1 mobo! In Gta V i can play for a bit but The Crew the moment loading ends boom! Gone also the game is installed in the HDD I've kept SSD purely for OS. But just for testing purpose I shifted The Crew to SSD and still no luck! Thank you!

Recently my PC updated to the Anniversary update. Ever since I have been experiencing an audio desync online. I have tried watching videos on multiple browsers (Chrome, Edge, FireFox and IE) and multiple websites (Twitch VoDs, YouTube, Amazon Prime). Have no idea what is causing it, it doesn't seem to be a known issue as I can't find anyone else with the same problem. Tried playing the same videos on my Surface Pro, that hasn't updated yet and everything is fine. So it must be the update doing something strange to my PC If anyone else has had the same issue and maybe a fix please let me know!

Has anyone else had to do this? I got hyped, being a developer, for the anniversary update. I was so ready for a linux terminal INSIDE of Windows, it was a psycho idea to me. I update, and notice my task bar has changed. I right click it, try to select "toolbars" and BLOOP, it crashes. I reboot, try to do it via control panel, BLOOP crahses. I try to change ANY settings, and i crash. Has anyone else had this problem? I had to revert to my earlier build of Windows. If y'all had this problem, how did you fix it or has microsoft already fixed it? Also, I am very privacy worried, I use certain software to stop Microsoft the best i can from spying on me, and from what I hear Microsoft may have disabled you being able to stop them. Is this true?

Hi everyone! Im just curious on where can i find the downloaded windows update(Anniversary Edition) so i can copy and paste it in a usb so i can update all my computers without downloading it to each of my conputer. Is this possible? Its too inconvenient if i will download 3.7Gb go each of my pc to get the latest version of windows. Thanks!

Tadaaa.....(Anniversary hiccups) Reportedly Millions of Windows 10 users who did the recent Anniversary update are discovering that their webcams are freezing up occasionally , even when trying to stream using Skype(Haha Microsoft). The issue is said to effect many popular webcams from big-name peripheral makers like Logitech on the hardware side, while numerous apps and services that rely on the codecs are being crippled from the software side. this was supposedly a decision the company made to prevent performance issues now that certain Windows apps have more direct webcam access post-update , But backfired Don't worry Elsa ,She's alright, it's just an update feature.. #LetTheUpdateGo Issue stems from the update having dropped support for two major compression format H.264 and MJPEG codecs , This issue impacted a wide variety of webcams including the popular Logitech C920,when a webcam tries to use MJPEG or H264, the device will freeze. after installing the update, Windows no longer allows USB webcams to use MJPEG or H264 encoded streams and is only allowing YUY2 encoding. Hi Guys, I have a problem with my Logitech G27 after I've done the Anniversary Update on Windows 10. Before that everything did just fine. The problem is that the clutch pedal and the H-pattern shiter is not registered in any game or even the Logitech Profiler, which sucks, because I used them every time I play ETS 2 Or Project Cars. I made sure every connector is correctly seated and I used different USB 2.0 ports (USB 3.0 is not supported) I installed the newest driver from Logitech and now I don't know what to do anymore. So I hope you have some answers that I can try.

it happened on 2 of my 3 W10 machines after the A.U.; dunno what was different on the 3rd that behave differently anyone else seeing it? which one do I delete? do I should even attempt to? might render the OS unbootable

It's a rather general question, but I think some people would like to know more about it (if there's anything else that's known). With a plenty of complaints regarding Windows 10 Anniversary Update messing mostly with partitions it doesn't recognize, I'm getting less and less convinced to try that OS out. I'm a dual-boot user (Windows 8.1 & Ubuntu 16.04) and I would like to install the latest Windows 10 build as the secondary Windows installation, before making a final choice of either staying with Windows 10 or ditching it. I've been told that the clean installation of Windows 10 using the latest ISO also causes partition removal. Is there anything I can do to prevent that? Do we know which partitions are most often removed (except Linux/ext4 partitions and external storage)? I cannot backup it all (I can backup Ubuntu partitions and that's it, my second partition with most of my data won't fit anywhere), yet I'm still tempted to try W10 out.

Since installing the Windows 10 Anniversary update when I turn on my PC and it takes forever to log in and when it finally does I'm greeted with a black screen. I can't do anything other than move the cursor around or bring up task manager, etc. I have to restart the computer for it to function normally and logging in takes about 2 seconds as opposed to around 20. I can't seem to be able to uninstall the update either. Suggestions?
