i bought the cooler master 120ml for my i5-12400f and i don't know anything about cpu cooler, is that ok for i5-12400f or i should use my stock cooler? instant of aio. and 50'C temperature is ok for ideal? and 60 to 75'C temperature is ok for when the cpu is max load. I found the 240ml aio for the same cost but i can't buy it now that's why i am asking this question. 120ml and 240ml make big different?

I'm encountering a problem with my Thermaltake TH360 V2 Ultra AIO liquid cooler's LCD screen. the Thermaltake RGB app consistently reports "Controller not connected," preventing me from customizing the display. I've made sure everything is in properly, I updated the software and attempted various troubleshooting steps, but the issue persists. There is a USB cable that connects to the cpu coolers lcd there was 2 usbs to connected but only 1 cable could be connected to the CPU coolers lcd and I'm not sure what to do with the other USB side and ive connected the USB to the motherboard, I'm encountering a problem with my Thermaltake TH360 V2 Ultra AIO liquid cooler's LCD screen. the Thermaltake RGB app consistently reports "Controller not connected," preventing me from customizing the display. Hey everyone! I have some noise issues with DeepCool LS720 WH fans. I know that they're loud in general, but I keep hearing really annoying, irregular buzzy noises peaking at around 850RPM, and whistling/whining sound being the loudest at around 1450RPM. Well, weird symphony in general. Every of 3 fans emits this kind of noises at some point. I contacted DeepCool support and they sent me 3 new fans, but the story was the same with the new ones. The noise sounds really similarly to this, but sometimes is very loud (can even hear it from another room when the load is like 40%): https://youtu.be/i3Qs07Qgdjw?feature=shared Has anyone of you experienced something similar? Obviously I adjusted the fans curve to avoid the most noisy RPM ranges, but it's still annoying at some point and disappointing for this product to hear these noises. I thought of buying other fans for this cooler, what do you think about Corsair AF120 Elite (white RGB version to match the aesthetics)? I heard that they are really high-quality and quiet fans for radiators, and they don't seem to be extremely expensive.

This is a temporary mount since my case doesn't officially support radiator mounting. It consists of a 3d printed fan adapter with fan mounted on top of the case and a radiator mounted inside the case on the bottom through the cooling holes. Additionally, the fan has anti-vibration 'screws' and a rubber gasket mounting it to the plastic. This is the case: https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16811147192

Budget (including currency): Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: WOW, AND DCS. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I just built my very first computer and all went fine except when I plug in my computer the motherboard screen and aio cooler screen come on before I even turn the computer on! Why? What did I do wrong? Thanks for helping!

Hi, I'm currently using a Corsair H100x with my Asus Prime Z390-P motherboard. On my motherboard I have a slot for the CPU fan and then one for an AIO pump, I was just wondering which slot I should plug the Pump into and the radiator fans into. The installation guide just says put the AIO pump connector on the CPU fan slot and doesn't really mention the radiator fans. My motherboard guide it says to put the radiator fans on the AIO connection but, with it set up like this my fans go full speed as soon as I start the computer and dont change speed at all after. Thanks for any help!

My only questions is that i see my cpu running up to 60 degrees at full load with my aio, is that good or is that bad for a Ryzen 9 5950x? If it's bad what could be the potential cause? (i have the fans on turbo mode to make the system cool but not sound like an jet engine)

I just got a new AIO cooler, I stupidly took out all the connectors from the mother board in the process but I put them back in their place I'm like 80% sure. Anyway after connecting everything I turned on the pc it all the RGB flashed then it went dead. Does that mean that the power supply is too weak or is it that I connected something incorrectly? My motherboard doesn't have a trouble shooting led Rig setup Rtx 2060 Ryzen 5600x MSI 240 liquid cooler AIO My power supply is 600W but it's like 3-5 years old

I have an RTX 3070 Founders Edition but I seem to find it loud and high temperatures. Sure 90*c is technically is fine but when it comes to the fans on the GPU, it runs kinder loud for what it is. Like I have removed my glass panel of my PC but that is not the cause of my PC being loud. Its 100% DEFINELTY not my heatsink for my CPU as that is just quiet and that is a good thing. I am wanting to get an AIO cooler and just instead mount it onto the card. Disassemble and place the AIO cooler on it instead but I don't trust myself. Due to what the RTX 3070 FE looks like when disassembled there is thermal pads on some parts of the GPU that can't be covered by the AIO cooler. How would I go by having that cooled? Also is there a specific AIO suitable for cooling the card. I'd like to also mention that I'd rather have someone pay to disassemble the card, mount an AIO suitable for the GPU as I am no good for that technicality. I don't have the gear to do the job plus I don't want to accidently break something on the GPU loosing my £480 card. Also if someone is willing to do it what would I be expecting to pay in order for the job done I live in the UK

I have this PC that I slowly upgraded over time. I started with the Mainboard which came with one stick of PC4 Ram in a crappy SFF case. The whole build was filled with stone dust as I it free from the Ottawa LRT tunnel Group RTG for free. I have since transplanted the good components to a Corsair Carbide Series 4 case. I was lazy and did not reorient the CPU Heatsink nor did I put too much effort in the cable management. I purchased the PSU, GPU, RAM, Storage and Case. I want to find a nice Small Form Factor case that would allow me to replace the CPU Fam with an AIO, I also want to vertically mount the GPU for enhanced aesthetics. Better cable management should be on the list too to make it look good. I have reoriented the CPU fan and replaced the thermal compound since taking the attached photo. This case is too big the Mainboard but it was the most affordable at the time that would accommodate the then future GPU and the PSU. The old case was infuriated to use and look at. The Specs are here. I only spent $400 on this thing for the upgraded components aforementioned, The rest were acquired for free.

Hi friends, haven't built a pc in over 10 years, and I've never messed with liquid cooling before. I'm excited to work on it, but I am nervous about getting all of the stuff set up correctly in it. The main thing I'm trying to figure out at the moment is where the best place to mount the radiator is in this case. I was watching the LTT pc build video and know that they talked about mounting the radiator/fans in a pull position so it can be easily cleaned, and this case has a decent looking magnetic mesh dust filter on the top, so I was thinking I could mount the radiator on the top of the case, with the air pulling in from the top and through the dust filter. However, this seems to go against the conventional wisdom of balancing fan directions in a case. It will have 2 fans in the front, and I assume they will also be pulling air in, with 1 fan on the back for exhaust, which from what I gathered from reviews isn't really a great fan, but I'll worry about replacing stock fans a little later on this build. Anyway, I guess I'm looking for some advice on how I should go about this project? I know another option would be to mount the radiator in the rear, moving the existing case fan there to the top, and just the radiator to exhaust out the back of the case, but wouldn't that make it harder to clean? I just don't know what would be optimal here. Thanks in advance for any help you all can give!

Purchase a kraken z53 cooler. Installed it to my ryzen 7 3700x, motherboard is a msi b450 gaming plus max, so after turning on the PC it was fine, then after windows opened the fans started to get real loud and fast then right after it gets loud and fast it gets slow and quite. Also the temperature reading on the kraken z53 is wrong and every time the cooler reading increases the fans get crazy loud. I don't what is causing this, my motherboard didn't have a 3 pin CPU OPT header so I plugged the coolers 3 socket wire to the motherboards 4 pin CPU FAN header. I'm not sure if that's causing this. But whatever it is I need helppppp!!!!! Oh also I installed the radiator inside and the fans outside on top and there's a vent with pretty big holes in between the radiator and the fans, could that cause the issue? I just don't know VID-20221220-WA0001.mp4

This is happening with a Ryzen 7 1800X and a Corsair H80i v2. A few months ago I moved between cities and had my computer sent from my hometown (about 2000km away). When it arrived, it would overheat, but the fans were spinning and the pump block lighted up so I couldn't tell why it was happening. Seemed like reseating the block and reapplying thermal paste was the only thing left to do, 'cause maybe it had dislocated a bit during the transport. I then ran into another problem (see my previous thread if you want context) and sent it to a technician to work on it. From what I remember he told me, everything seemed to be fine with the machine and I ended up paying only for a cleaning service. Now I'm back at my hometown and had the machine transported back here once again (I did not use the machine at any point after I sent it to the technician). As my fears proved true, the exact same situation I had faced a couple of months ago repeated itself and I cannot figure out the problem. The only thing that would make sense to me is if the pump was dead, but how do I check this?

Hi LTT community, Need a small solution for my AIO cooler. I am using the kraken x62 right for my new rig. When I was benchmarking and play games, I never heard the pump run as loud(cpu: i7 7700k @ 4.9ghz). However, when I do the same benchmark in the next day, my cpu throttle and went to .8 ghz(sad face). With clear CMOs i was able to clock it back up. The problem I notice is that, using the CAM software, the liquid temp is higher than day 1 temp. This has to do with my condition. I live in Southeast Asia, where the room is quite toasty, making the idle temp of the liquid at 37C. Right now the only fix i can think of is to OC while turning the air condition ON, which drop the liquid temp down to around 27C. The question is, I can't turn on my AC on the whole day, what can I do to solve this? Edit: I think my case is capable in doing push-pull but not sure if it will solve it. Thanks in advance!

So I may be building a mini-itx computer and the purposes I have for this computer is to serve as owncloud server + F@H and Boinc; so you might imaging things will get hot for both cpu and gpu. I want to know whether going with a small/stock air cooler or an aio liquid cooler is better. The case I will be using is the Fractal Design Core 500 and I have seen in a review by Techreport.com where they manage to squeeze an aio in there. The temps are encouraging too. I have never worked with anything liquid cooled before, so should I stick to air cooling here or try an aio? PS: cpu is an i7-7700 and the gpu cooler is not a blower type.

Guys, i need help. I have a t3500 with W3520, it runs hot (Mid 70s) while gaming, and i am unable to fit a hyper 212 or AIO cooler in it, can anyone suggest what to do with it?

So, I bought a Revolt 2 from iBuyPower. It has a GA-Z170N-Gaming5 motherboard inside it as well as a Asetek 550LC 120mm AIO. The thing is, as you see in the "System Fan Connection" images, the system fan has this weird connection to it. It's not connected to the motherboard like in the "System Fan, CPU Fan" images, it looks like it's spliced into a power supply cable or something. The two connected into those headers are the CPU Fan and what I assume is the AIO. I'm really not sure how they did this or if it's even possible to change this as I want to change the 120mm to a 140mm fan as my system fan. I could just cut the System Fan away from the cable it's connected and see if I can remove whatever is in the System Fan header while hoping for the best. Before I did anything I thought that it would be best to share this hear to see if anyone can help figure out this weird setup. Any help or suggestions would be great.

So first off yeah yeah I know it's a cheap case don't get me started but it is just a nicer version of the X-QPACK3 which Kyle from Bitwit built in and he thought was an decent case but I wanted to know if it had the room for a 120mm AIO cooler as I have found no info on their website or anywhere else (Don't ever use their website for info, they tell you almost nothing)

Hi I have an intel 6400 sky lake processor is there any point in installing an aio water cooler. Pretty sure you can't overclock this cpu but if you can I will not. I am looking at a £40 one so is it worth it or am I wasting my money. I have a stock cooler for reference
