Hi all, My friend has an RX 570 4GB, the MSI Gaming X version. When he is idling or playing a non intensive game, he idles around 54 degrees. However, once he clicks on any bigger game, the most common being Black Ops Cold War, his GPU temperature jumps up very quickly to about 90 degrees, but, when he closes the game it goes right back down to 55ish in seconds. I'm planning on replacing his thermal paste for him and cleaning his cooler. Any other ideas on why this would be happening so quickly and rapidly?

GPU: MSI Armor OC RX 570 4gb Operating System: Windows 10 Problems: Bought an RX 570 with a mining bios from a shitty seller who failed to mention it. Troubleshooting: I Tried flashing the GPU bios but it gave me something along the lines of "Subsystem ID Mismatch" does anyone know how to fix this? 0 comments

Hello. I'm helping a friend buy a DisplayPort cable but I cant seem to find anywhere what the maximum version of DP cable his GPU supports. (Link to his GPU) MSI Support just kept copy/pasting "DisplayPort x 3" from the spec sheet, which I already read for this information. The chat agent had no idea. Anyone know what version or how I can find out? Thank you very much.

Just recently upgraded from a Ryzen 7 2700x with a msi pro carbon 470 mb to a Ryzen 5 5600x with a ASUS tuf 570 mb g skill 3200 ram 16gb, 1080 zotac amp extreme. I use this computer for gaming and videos. Upon instillation everything was fine. Then started blue screening. Now I cannot open warzone without errors. Fortnite will crash when it opens and my pc restarts. I was reading up online about errors with warzone. I did all of the steps to try and get rid of the error. Even uninstalling and re downloading. Still same errors. So I read a article about a guy who had the same problem I did and he found his fix. He downloaded memtest86 and found he had a bad stick of ram. Took it out and he had no problems since. I’m currently running the memtest86 on my pc. So far it has found 883 errors and it’s half way through. Here are some screenshots of the errors. Does anyone know if these errors point to the cpu being bad or the motherboard? Or could ram be causing this? Any help is much appreciated

Hi everyone, first time poster here. Got a question. So I bought a Powercolor Red dragon RX 570 8GB version. The card was used for mining but not for a long time so I figured it was a good deal since it was cheap by todays prices. My issue is whenever I want to install drivers it wont install properly since I believe it has a mining bios on it. For now im using the atikmdag-patcher-bios.exe to make the gpu have working drivers and I can use it to game and so on but since the newest drivers for the GPU, that patcher does not work for me anymore. So I would like to if its possible and not too hard to flash the stock bios so I can install drivers normally and use the GPU without any issues. Below is my GPU-z attachment. It seems to use Samsung memory(I saw people mention that a lot about those) and if I could get a step by step guide on how to flash the stock bios it would be really appreciated. Hope you can understand what im asking since english is not my native language. Thank you in advance! The gpu-z screenshot is with the atikmdag patcher applied.

Hello LTT forum folks. Hope everyone is having a nice day. So I just built a new PC taking my first shot at RBG wackiness. I am using both of my MOBO's addressable RGB GEN 2 headers. One for both the InWin SIRUS Loop fans included with my case and the other for the led light strip built into the base of my case. When I set aura effects using the Aura Sync section of the ASUS ROG software (Armory Crate), I get many varied results other than what I expect to happen. 1- Static - sometimes all the lights match, other times the lights on the 2 RGB headers are a different color than the RAM and MOBO lights. 2 - In all the other effects the base light strip wants to both Strobe and follow the lighting effect at the same time. My wife has epileptic seizures so this is not ideal. For Instance when I select Color Cycle effect, all lights roll through the color gamut but the base light does it while flashing off and on while the others stay lit. 3 - When I go to dark mode the fans and the light strip stay on while the the MOBO and Ram light go out. RX 5700xt Ryzen 5 3600 ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Impact GSkill Trident Neo 16G InWin A1+ Many googling and trouble shooting hours have gone to this issue, by far the longest part of setting up the new build. Thanks in Advance for anyone attempting to help crack this nut.

So I found a deal on a gtx 1070 which i'm highly considering, but my brother (an amd fanboy) keeps talking about amds upcomming rx 500 series and how amds drivers are much better than geforce drivers. But is the geforce drivers much worse than the radeon drivers and will the 500 series be shit? Thanks

Hi fellow PC enthusiasts I'm gonna build a budget gaming PC from scratch in Germany at a price range of 400€. I've been looking into a Pentium G4560 + GTX 1060 setup, but I can't really decide if the 1060 is worth it because it does get a tad bottlenecked. I thought of getting the 1050Ti at first but my budget can hold more. The RX570 is also tempting but since I'm planning on getting the KFA² (GALAX) 1060 the price is the same (180€).I really can't decide what's the best way to go so I thought I would share here. Here is a build from Geizhals.de : https://geizhals.de/?cat=WL-795845 PS: I have a HDD PS2: I still am not completely sure what my budget will be so this is like Alfa planning

Ok so I'm planning to build a pc. The list of pc parts is here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6PFnJV Ok, so about 3 months ago, I bought the power supply (rm750x) and a Asus Gtx 1060 3GB OC, on sale. [115$ and 250$] I was originally planning to build a white build, but I changed my mind. So since I bought it on sale I can sell it for higher and buy a new gpu. I will of course have to put out some more money though. So my problem is, I dont know what gpu I want to get. So in the build it says the EVGA 1060 3GB FTW, but I am also considering other gpus. Theres a ASUS RX 480 8GB ROG Strix for 300$, but the thing is, its really big. Im also considering the ASUS RX 570 4GB ROG Strix [290$]. Personally I really like the ASUS ROG Strix card with 3 fans, but I think it would look too big in my case, also I dont think it looks good when a gpu sags, but in the other hand it performs a bit better. Mainly I am concerned about how it looks though. Any of the cards perform well enough for me, and its not like its a huge difference between any of them. I like the Asus cards because they have RGB, but the EVGA would look so good together with my white led ram, also I think the EVGA card looks kind of classy. Im looking more for what you think would look better and maybe some suggestions on my build, than what performs better. Im also adding a poll, but I'm not sure if it will work, as it hasn't worked for me before.

I'm really confused on whether or not the Kraken G12 will fit the Rx 570. Nzxt's site says the 470 and 480 but do these include the 570 and 580 because there isn't much change and primarily just a refresh. I'd like to try AIO water cooling and thought this would be the best place to start because my R5 1500x at 3.8 gHz only gets up to a healthy 60c. Any help? It's also the sapphire nitro+ 8gb if that matters

So I saw that there are speculations that AMD will be releasing the RX580 and RX570 GPUs. I did a little looking around and saw that it was going to basically be a refreshed Polaris platform of GPU... I'm new to this and was reading all I could on the RX480 and was about to drop the monies on a gaming build I could run at 1080p efficiently and less expensive than my dream Ryzen 1800x build that I probably won't be building for quite some time as I am very very VERY tight on funds at the moment. I was just wondering if the RX580 and 570 being "refreshed" Polaris platforms was a bad thing or a good thing and was also wondering what the price point and performance would be possible for this sort of card and also if it would be worth my while to wait until it is officially released to see what sort of performance it is gonna push out and just opt for that card instead of a RX480?

I may be sounding like a over-cautious newbie(because I am) but I can't help but think that it will break, if I could get some suggestions of what to do that would be great or ever people with past experiences with overclocking. I've heard some dreadful stories about overclocking gone wrong and now I can't help but think if it's worth it or not. Just a bit of background, this is my most recent build...Actually, my first EVER build. So you can see where the caution come from. My parts as followed: Ryzen 1200 with stock cooler, 570, 8GB 3000mhz, 450W, Asrock B350, Maybe it's because I keep thinking the worst scenario, i.e the whole system blows up. Would love to hear some feedback!

My RX 570 nitro+ is throttling down when ever it's not in use and it is causing games like Doom and Killing floor 2 to crash. Is there a setting that will cause it to throttle when inactive or something to make it consistent or is this normal? Thought it was Radeon wattman so uninstalled Radeon settings and still happening. Have sapphire trixx and problem still occurs. Also tried uninstalling sapphire trixx and throttling occurred. Reinstalled those two programs. Also I'm using prime b350 plus bios 0805. Any and all help is appreciated. This is also my first PC built it like two months ago and Doom worked fine when it was first setup. Also being new to the scene I also don't know all the jargon so a dumbed down explanation would be perfect Thank you Hardware: Asus prime b350 plus Ryzen R5 1500x Sapphire Radeon RX 570 nitro+

I've been closely watching Ethereum prices this week and, while the trend continues, the prices have gone significantly lower this morning, reaching a 24h low of 136.55 dollars. Expect to see more stock soon, as well as better priced ebay listings pretty soon as more people start getting rid of their rigs. You can also watch Ethereum prices in this website: https://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/ethereum I can finally buy a fucking GPU Edit: RIP the dream

Hi guys! long story short I upgraded my secondary system with a brand new MSI RX 570. Full system specs : Ryzen 5 2400G Asrock AB350M HDV 8GB Corsair Ddr4 2666mhz Seasonic S12II-450 EVO 450W Windows 10 64bit It was fine at couple of first day, ran game without any problems, but later after playing game for quite a while the screen just froze and had a blank black / gray / red / any colors just depending on what major color on the last scene before the froze. I check the Temps which was fine kept under 70 C while gaming / furmarks. The other thing when I tried to update the latest AMD driver (cause I think maybe it was the driver) 19.6.2 and 19.5.2 (also tried a couple other later driver) it always got atikmpag.sys blue screen while installing. The only driver that seems to work are the one coming on the DVD included, and when it happen even the windows recovery cannot help it I've got to reinstall windows to get it booted again. I've already tried : - Using DDU for remove the old driver (already done it a dozen time cause trying a handful of AMD graphic driver) - Removing the AMD driver, the one that ties my integrated gpu - Reinstalling windows - Installing the Driver on safe mode - Reseating the Graphics card - Latest BIOS on motherboard Before I use the integrated graphic without any problem whatsoever, since my main system uses nvidia I haven't found the time (I must reinstall the graphics driver) to swap the gpu's around because I used it daily for work. Should I RMA it? Or there are solution? Anyway any thanks will be appreciated! Thanks before..

I just bought a used (I think for mining) RX 570 8GB and just like my last buy an RX 560 it's unable to run drivers. Device manager just gives a Code 43 error and after trying everything I am unable to get the drivers running. Since it was used for mining I thought I might need to flash the GPU's BIOS. Is this a good idea? How would I do it? Any other options?

Basiclly,I've bought a nice RX 570, every excitement fade away when I open the game, every still fine until i hit play option. The card use over 90W then everything crash, The fan in my case spin like nothing control itseft, game's music still on, but nothing except a black screen. My specs: Intel G4600 8GB RAM ASUS STRIX RX 570 4GB OC Corsair VS550 Bad English sorry.

Hello Just want your opinion on which 4 GB RX 570 is better in terms of performance & value, ASUS ROG Strix 570 OR Sapphire RX 570. Had good experience with Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 but its fan caused issue after 2 years. (8 years ago ) Price is almost same. So guys what will you suggest among these two I can afford ?

Hey Guyz.. Sorry for my bad english.. I have a saphire ITX Rx 570 4GB.. Which i am trying to overclock.. i was using superposition and DMC 5 as a stability test for my overclocking. i was stable at these settings.. Core Clock From 1244 to 1390 at 1090mv.. and memory from 1500 to 2050 at level 2 timings.. but since i was looking for new games to play i downloaded fortnite and started to see some artifacts i was sure that i am pushing my memory clock alot more then usual.. i drop the memory at 2000 and still seeing some artifact then step by step i dropped it to 1900 which looks kinda stable to me.. i don't know if it is the game or my overclocking because i think there is something wrong with water reflections in fortnite.. i doesn't look like an artifact .. but i think it is not normal.. i wanted to ask that what most peoples are getting with an rx 570 in terms of oc.. so i will use the same oc settings and see if i am getting any artifacts or not.. to my experience i don't think so that my gpu isn't stable

Hi everyone, I currently have a Noctua fan plugged into the AIO_PUMP header of my Asus ROG Strix 570-I motherboard. Since the fan is plugged into that header, it is running at full speed. It's much louder than my other fans so I would love to have the ability to adjust this fan like I can my other ones. The other two headers are occupied and work great. In the BIOS, I've tried switching the AIO_PUMP setting from DC to PMW like I have seen others recommending and using. This hasn't worked for me though. I also tried SpeedFan to see if I can adjust it through that application but I haven't had luck with that either. Since I don't have the ability to adjust that fan in the BIOS, I don't think SpeedFan recognizes that fan. Can any of you recommend another course of action? I really appreciate any help! Here's a link to the motherboard if that helps: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-Strix-X570-I-Gaming/overview/

Hi guys, i was wondering if a rx 570 4 gb would be good enought for the next 5 years for gaming. I just found this deal with an ASUS Radeon RX 570 STRIX GAMING 4GB for just 210$/180euro. I've been looking for a graphics card only recently so i dont know the prices before the inflation caused by mining, so i need some help here. I could just wait until black friday and maybe get a better deal, i'm not in a hurry, i'm just afraid miners or consumers will get the stocks low again and prices will rise and so on. I plan to use this gpu for the next 5 years and its "last" year i dont demand too much from it, just some low/medium quality on new games while hitting 40- 60 fps at least. I will pair it with a ryzen 3 1200/ryzen 5 1600 or with an intel cpu if prices come down again.

I'm upgrading my system a bit and wanted to know your thoughts. Currently I have a GTX 760 Supercloxked 2gb card and found a used (working) Radeon RX 570 OC 8gb card for only $160. Now obviously, the price to performance ratio is quite good here, but I was wondering if there was another card that you would recommend (up to $300) or if I should just go with this deal. Thanks!
