So, I bought a Razer Blade Pro 17 (2019) (rz09-03148E13) about 7 1/2 months ago. It's a second hand on eBay but was taken really good care of. I don't think it was super heavily used because I've NOTICABLE worn it down physically since then. The track pad's surface has gotten worn from miles of finger tracking, the paint on grill for the front most bottom fan has started to come off leaving specks of silver unpainted metal, and a similar effect has occurred in the form of a bare metal colored ring pultruding about a mm out all around the charging port from the constant plugs and unplugs, and now one of the two side pins are broken off at the base of the plug. SO, I've found that this port is readily available online from 3rd party sellers (likely 3rd shift or reverse engineered work from a Chinese factory by the looks of it), and I'm gonna buy 2 (one for now, and another in case I need to replace the port again and it happens to be that we've started an international war with China in the meantime, and their manufacturing base has imploded leaving me with no parts). What I would like to know is how much longer can I reasonably expect to get out of this laptop at this point (assuming no accidents and discarding things like soldering on new ports)? Is it likely that I'm gonna develop a GPU or CPU fault in the next year or two? In other words, what usually kills these laptops beyond the point that it's economical to repair them? I should note, this is technically a business/prosumer laptop. I game on it, program on it, run CGI renders on it, etc. I have a backup laptop, but would like to "exit gracefully" while getting my money's worth out of it. What's my prognosis?

Probably not the most appropriate place to ask about this topic, but I thought I might as well since the LTT's community consist of mostly adults as I would assume. So my PayPal account has been limited for the longest of time now because I am under 18 which according to their user agreement, I have to be above that said age. Anyways, you must be curious how they found out. Well, I made a very stupid mistake a long time ago when I opened my PayPal account and I had entered my surname twice for some odd reason so I thought I might have to fix it in order to transfer money from my bank account to my PayPal account (PayPal said that my name on my PayPal account must tally with my bank account name). They needed a form of identity as proof to which I sent my identification card which shows my name and includes my actual age. At first, they didn't notice my date of birth but a few days later, they sent me an email telling me my funds are frozen for 6 months and that my account will remain limited even after those months pass for an undetermined time (probably until I send them a support email when I am 18). They gave me a chance to resolve this limitation saying that they sent me an email telling me how I can resolve it but the only email I received from them just tells me that my account is limited because I am under 18 so I would assume that it was in order to comply with the state and federal law. But to be honest, I don't know much about the law or why there is a need for this requirement (I wish the school taught a bit of this at least :/). And I notice a lot of companies have this required age to use their services as well. They are always talking about being able to enter a legal binding contract or something but I never really understood why. Which is why I have a question: Why do most companies require the individual to be 18 and above and that they are able to form a legal binding contract? I mean when I look at PayPal, I don't see any legal binding contract unless buying or selling of goods is considered a contract? I don't know. Hope anyone can share in detail what this law is about and the reason for it. Also, if you are under 18 and still went ahead to violate the company's age requirement, could you get into any legal problems with them?

PEGi rates anything from skyrim to gta v to witcher 3 and BF1 an 18. This hardly makes sense regarding the fact that none of these games are on the same maturity level and half of these would struggle to be rated higher than a 12 if they were movies. In a broader perspective nearly all AAA games come out with a PEGI 18 rating, meaning finding games that parents who take pegi ratings to the letter will let you play at 14 is a fucking pain

Hey guys so my brother is turning 18 and he is really into computers and tech and stuff and I can't really think of anything to get him. He already has built a top of the line computer with like a 980 in it and stuff. He has a keyboard and all the peripherals he needs. He has nice speakers, a phone. I can't think of anything to get him. Could I have some ideas that are like around $300 or less? Thanks!

Now I'm gonna make a few people upset with this but, no I am not talking about the 12-15 year olds who can use photoshop. I am sorry but you have no experience with the industry, I was like you too once but I never called myself a designer I just kept working on getting better. I am specifically talking about 18+ designers/illustrators who have either gone through college (UK, for the US that would be 16-18) or university or who have been in the field for a while. Now, I've met a few freelancers on here but never seen more than 2 at once! Are we few and far between or are we keeping ourselves to ourselves? (Yes I know you have been designing for 500 years since you were age -488 but you're still 12 and almost everyone else has more experience and insight than you, I am sorry but this is for big boys.)

He, along with his friend Masaki, traces Sammy's footsteps and come upon an unusual cafe. This cafe's main rule is to not discriminate between humans and androids.
