Hi fellow techies, I was wondering if there is a monitor arm/stacker plate that I can screw onto a monitor. The arm/stacker would have a pole attached to the vesa plate that I can screw another monitor onto. Something like a cheap, dual vertical monitor arm would also work BUT my desk depth is very limited and wall mounting is not an option. Anything like this? If not maybe a good alternative? Horizontal monitors is not an option (again, limited desk space) For all the smarta$$es, buying a new desk is NOT an option. Hope you can help - ReThorb_

sooo i can get my hands on a 42" screen thats OK i mostly want it for the rediculessness of it but it dosent come with a stand and i would want it to mount on a desk, it has a 400mmx400mm VESA conection for the stand but i couldent find a desk stand that would take that, so if someone knows of something like that it would be great. here is the screen: http://www.philips.se/p-p/BDL4210Q_00/led-skaerm/specifikationer(its in swedish but just translate it if you need too, most specs are still the same in swedish ) thanks for any replies and any help

We haven't even seen DP 1.3 on products yet but VESA has apparently been working hard to move DP along despite slow adoption. DP 1.3 was published in September 2014 and today we get 1.4. DP 1.4 will utilize VESA's DSC (Display Stream Compression) to compress the data. Version 1.2 of DSC is capable of a compression ratio of 3:1 and is apparently visually lossless. So it seems like DP 1.4 will be about adding compression capabilities to the spec as well as expanding support for HDR, audio and improving compatibility with HDMI 2.0. It would also seem that there is no increase in raw bandwidth with the new spec, however the added compression compensates for that and will vastly improve effective bandwidth which will result in support for higher resolutions with HDR and high refresh rates. We obviously won't see this in any 2016 products which includes Polaris and Pascal. Even 2017 is questionable. It's most likely that it'll be like DP 1.3 meaning two years after the release of the spec which in turn means 2018 at the earliest. I have recently acquired a LG 25UM57 monitor very cheap from a friend. I plan to mount this above my three monitors as an overhead however, my three monitors are not vesa mountable ergo they are on their original stands. I am having a lot of trouble finding a reasonably priced Vesa desktop mount that is able to lift the 21:9 monitor above the three screens (They are ~39cm in height). Any suggestions or is there a large possibility that I will have to mount the screen to the wall?

Which would offer a better experience for a gamer? I also look to do some schoolwork on my PC, but it is not my main focus for this build. Would my PC be able to handle the triple monitors all running at 1080p? If you have any suggestions for a monitor, I would like 60hz or more, 1080p, thin bezels, and for the monitor to be VESA mountable. I am leaning more towards the ultra wide monitor for the lack of bezels and lower price tag, I think it will be a better experience for me. However, the triple monitor setup seems to offer an amazingly immersive experience with the massive FOV options. I am also weary of bad optimization for triple monitor setups. I am looking to run games like Modded Skyrim, Fallout, and Crysis, as well as Battlefield, CS GO, Minecraft (I don't think my build can handle this one, but we'll see how it goes), Borderlands, and newer AAA titles that release. Also, if you recommend a triple monitor setup, how would you go about hooking them all up with the graphics card I have inside of my build? Would I need to have a splitter or something to that effect? Thanks for reading and please provide your input in the replies. **Important Links** Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/68xfbv Ultrawide Monitor: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VBNQJSM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_2&smid=A13BNE3P7C8THK Monitor for Triple Setup:http://shop.benq.us/monitors/27-monitors/gw2760hs.html?utm_campaign=mainsitelink&utm_source=main

Hello LTT forumers I am wanted to mount my 2 monitors on an arm so that i would have more room on my desk and raise my monitors a little bit, I wanted to eventually get a 3rd monitor so for the mean time i would just unhook the 3rd arm (or push it back that works to) anyways the 2 monitors I have are 21 and 22 inchs with 100mm vesa mount on the back. I have one i think would work good (down below) but if you have any good suggestions I would appreciate it. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0034PUWNS?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=AUQKNZ1OCJZ06

Hey guys! I've recently bought an ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q monitor and I was looking for a decent desk mount to go along with it. Unfortunately, even though a lot of 100 x 100 VESA mounts are rated to support 8kg or 13kg, many Amazon reviews report that 7kg monitors droop. Some people say they over-torqued the screws trying to tighten them and the monitors still droop. As it happens, the PG279Q weighs ~7kg without the stand. I appreciate that the stand itself is very well built, but it does not suit my needs. Versatility in my setup is important as I intent to adjust the height and position of the monitor fairly frequently, so I was looking for a spring loaded or gas powered solution of at least 500mm of maximum reach. My search has been fruitless so far. I was wondering if perhaps some of you have had similar problems and found solutions. Any suggestions are deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance! Bonus eye-candy:

Greetings everyone, I purchased myself 2* http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00C99MUHQ and 1* http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00C144AYK in 2014 and also got myself a stand to hold all 3 of them on, the issue with the stand is that it would never hold the monitors on line with each other, the centre piece was always a few centimetres higher than the two side monitors and it annoyed me ever since I noticed it. I recently moved and decided I would like to setup my monitors on my wall but the issue is, I have 3 monitors and a corner desk. My desk isn't currently in its resting place as I need access to the plug socket behind the desk but once I have my extension I will be able to push it into the corner correctly. Here is an image of my desk and current monitor stand: http://puu.sh/mhuT3/8287d8f1b1.jpg I would like for the side monitors to be flat on the wall with the main monitor diagonal evenly between. What would my best option be for the wall mounts at a reasonable price (in England). I have seen items such as: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Duronic-TVB1120-Cantilever-Monitor-Bracket/dp/B00PEQNZPM which seem awkward be maybe perfect for what I need.

So I'm looking for desktop monitor recommendations. My current laptop has 170 DPI screen which I have fell in love with. However, that's a bit high for a desktop so I'd probably like to get something around 150 DPI. I'll be using it as a single monitor for software dev, movie watching, and occasionally playing Eve Online. Must have VESA mount 100mm x 100mm Must be IPS (or sub-category thereof) Any help is appreciated.

I have this crummy Samsung SyncMaster T24B350 24", I know. I've had it for 3 years now. Thankfully, My Asus MG279Q is coming in tomorrow, hurray! I need to mount them, and I was looking at some and couldn't seem to find an affordable desk mount. It has to be desk because I'm unable to damage the walls. I'm going to be using them to make editing much better. So only 2 monitors, up to 27". The Asus is 100x100mm and the Samsung is 75x75mm. Suggestions? Let's see some dirt cheap ones and affordable ones as well as the fancy shmancy ones! What you guys have?

Hi, I just purchased my first H236HLBid (23") monitor and am planning to get a second one in December, to which I was curious if there is a non vesa monitor wall mounted option for. More credit to someone who has used/owned or uses/owns one of these non vesa mounts. Thanks for any help. The monitor in question: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/acer-h6-series-23-ips-led-hd-monitor-black/4751006.p?id=1219103673253 (Would have posted a newegg link but the website won't load for me.)

Hey guys, I have an Acer 23" thin bezel monitor and basically it doesn't have a VESA mount but I'd like to mount it to an arm. Anyone have any ideas or solutions? Thanks!

VESA Mountable, USB 3.0 port For a little extra you can get 2 thunderbolt ports It is IPS, so it probably doesn't have great response times for gaming. Free shipping within USA Edit: forgot the link smh https://www.massdrop.com/buy/lg-31-digital-cinema-4k-display

source: https://techreport.com/news/28865/intel-plans-to-support-vesa-adaptive-sync-displays#metal --- this shouldn't come at a surprise since Intel was already interested in AMD's MANTLE and asked them - AMD said no the same goes for Adaptive Sync, but this time, it's a VESA standard and adopting it doesn't lay on AMD say so with powerful enough IGPs and a "Free Sync" display, things could get interesting; the only hurdle remains the prices of said "Free Sync" displays - they aren't cheap, and the VRR window on some of them is just plain wrong the market needs simple and cheap 1080p Adaptive Sync diplays

I ordered the Acer X34 some time ago, and I currently run a triple monitor setup, so instead of letting them sit in the closet collecting dust, I thought I'd do something cool with my current monitors, make a battle station or something, maximum workspace. My idea is to have the triple monitors above the ultra-wide when it arrives, so I need a tall mount and preferably not a wall-mount, I'd like a clean looking quality-mount for use on the desk, I'm asking here since I've heard that some mounts that are advertised to fit 3 monitors barely fit them in some cases.

I currently have 2 U2515Hs connected to a desktop PC and Macbook Pro and I switch between them quite often even even though I hope to change that, but that's another topic. There is so much wasted space on my desk because of both stands and quite a bit of cable clutter. I was looking for a good dual monitor stand, that supports 25" displays, one in landscape and one in portrait mode. I have never really bought a dual monitor stand and most of them look quite similar to each other. I heard that the portrait display might be a problem for some stands so I'd like to make sure the one I buy can handle it. Does anyone have any recommendations for a dual monitor stand? They support 100mm VESA mounts and weigh 4.4kg/9.64lb each. Also the monitor stands need to be attached to a desk because I'm moving to an apartment soon and can't wall mount anything.

I have been looking around and I have not been able to find a vesa monitor stand for a 24 in monitor in portrait view.... It can't be a desk clamp style(I wish I could be), so the stand will have to sit on the desk. I have found some on amazon but all the them are more focused toward having the monitor in landscape view. Any ideas?

I am in the market for a new monitor and decided I wanted something that would be future proof so I started looking at 4k monitors. I saw this samsung 4k UHD monitor with a "premium metallic stand" ( Model Number: U28D590D ). I ordered it from future shop along with a hydraulic monitor arm. when I went to the store I was talking to a employee in customer service and he was saying stuff about the Samsung 31'' 4k widescreen monitor, and he then said " I don't know why this one you bought doesn't include a vesa mount". I imedeately went out to my car with the monitor pulled up the specs on my phone and sure enough he was right " NO VESA! ( I went right back in and returned it). P.O.S Why the hell in the year 2015 as standardized as Vesa mounts that they not on $500 monitors! my current monitor was $150 lg 21.5" and it has a flippin Vesa mount. i understand that it is a very thin monitor, but why the hell would they limit us to the crappy non adjustable " premium metalic stand " this is obsered! personally I dont think enthusiasts would care if the monitor went from .5" to 1" if it had a vesa mount. SCREW YOU SAMSUNG

Hello everyone, I need some help figuring out how to get a VESA mounting adapter printed for my AOC i2367f. I've found the following websites that print as a service. However, I am not familiar with the market price of printing nor the reputability of these services. Any recommendations or direction would be much appreciated. 1. https://www.shapeways.com 2. http://i.materialise.com 3. http://www.sculpteo.com/en/ 4. http://cubify.com VESA adapter: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:408247 Thank you for viewing!
