so i posted last night about what my new rig should be, and i got alot of helpful feedback. now that i know what im getting (http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/RCYM6h) i need some help on when i should buy it, i was thinking about getting it within the next few days, but then i realized it might be cheaper after christmas, so if i'll save a bit i'll wait to buy it. but in the meantime i need to sell my old rig (http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/Lf6YwP) i was thinking around $600 CAD and i was gonna throw in my goliathus mouse pad and brothers in arms game. so i just want to know if im changing too much or too little, any help is appreciated

First let me start off by saying I am really excited about the new card coming in. I have owned the EVGA GTX 670 2GB since 2012 and it served me well and still does. Before winning the 980 I opted for going SLI with the 670 and it's great but now there's really no need to keep them so I am going to sell them either combo or separated(doesn't matter as long as they have a home <3). I just need help with pricing them. What do you think is a good price for them? Btw the second one I acquired is SC edition. Leave your thoughts below and thank you. *Also was told to keep the one I had purchased originally for sentimental purposes and sell the S.C. one only, we'll see.

My brother's laptop broke like a month ago, and we can't bother to fix it. A lot of parts are still working though, so a friend suggested that we should sell it on eBay. I have a little question: Should I sell the laptop as a whole and say what parts aren't functioning, or should I sell every working part separately?

I would like to sell my GTX 770 to upgrade it to a 980 since the 770 is really cutting it for me. What would be a reasonable price for a 5 month old GTX 770 (Has never been overclocked)? Its not on the top of my list of PC Upgrade but if the diffrence is reasonable I will consider it

I was wondering if it would be possible to build and sell PCs, maybe on eBay, for a profit. I need money and I thought doing something I like would be the best way to do it but from my research there doesn't seem to be a profit available. I was wondering if anyone had any advice? Has anyone else pulled this off? Thanks in advance

***mods I am not trying to sell my N7 on this forum*** I have plans to sell my Nexus 7 and buy the second gen in its place upon release. Based off of the attached pictures, how much would you guys sell it for? I include the following original packaging (box, documentation, etc) AC adapter w/cable folio case xtreme guard screen protector (no more than 2 months old) I plan to list it on Craigslist and will probably list the item for $20-$30 more than what I want for it so the person thinks they get a deal and I get what I originally wanted for it. I feel that it's at least worth $160 considering that it's impeccable condition and includes all of the accessories

Hi, I was looking at selling my laptop, a dell xps 17" and I was wondering what sort of price I should put it up for ( Ebays prices vary a lot in the bidding, from £300 to around £800 ) and where I should do it. It is in very good condition and was originally purchased for £1200 from dell new in May 2012. It can run ( No Joke ) Eve online at max graphics, Skyrim at high, and borderlands 2 at high graphics all at once ( with 2 of the three in the background ) and is very good at gaming and is keeping ahead of the laptop crowd by far. These are the specks and I hope that you can help! CPU 2.0GHZ Turbo Boost to 2.9GHZ i7-2630Qm Screen : 1920X1080 Full HD ( 3D ) Graphics Card : Nvidia GTX 555m ( Come with 3d Glasses ) RAM : 8GB DDR3 Crucial Storage : 2 X 250GB 7200RPM HDD's DVD Drive Read & Write Audio : JBL 2.1 Audio 2 Speakers 1 Subwoofer ( Very Nice ) Lithium Ion Batter 9 Cell 3 Mega Pixel Webcam Touchpad Full keyboard with Num-pad Three programmable touch keys at the top of the keyboard 2 X USB 3.0 2 X USB 2.0 2 X Speaker Output 1 X Mic Input Backlit Keyboard Come's with windows 7 all drivers ( Waves Maxx Audio 3 as well ) HDMI Port Multi card reader ( SD Card Size ) Come's with 3D glasses and 3D screen ( Very nice touch ) Overall very good condition apart from a very small amount of paint chipped off as it brushed against a decommissioned tank shell from a friends ( 0.5 cm x 1 mm ) I hope you can help as it can be a little bit tough to find a good place to sell it. Regards, Fatbot41

Hey LTT, first I'm sorry if this is against the rules, hence the off-topic section Im from cairns and I've just moved to brisbane, my PC atm is being looked after by my parents up north. However i won't be able to use it at all for the next year so i figured i should sell it. The specs are: Case: Cubitek Mini Cube case Mobo: Asus Z87 M-itx pro MoBo Ram: 16gb 1866mhz g.skill ares ram CPU: intel 4770k (stock intel cooler since the noctua one i used ended up being a bust) PSU: silverstone 550watt gold psi using short cable kit and of course, GPU: Galaxy GTX Titan 6gb Storage: 2 x 500gb samsung 840 SSD's in raid 0 cooling is handled by a noctua NF-F12 PWM fan and a noctua NF-B9 92mm fan. i figured i could post this on gumtree or something like that but i figured half the people on it wouldn't know what i was talking about with this stuff. so i figured i should try this first since i know theres a few people from cairns here on LTT. or if you know anyone who is interested. I've just started studying again. please contact me via LTT then ill give you my number if we want to talk more.

Hi Everyone, I've recently been given by a friend who is now going to university a computer with some really nice parts (coming to about £4000 in total) for a much lower price <£1000. However, I really want to build a new, slightly smaller, air cooled computer and so want to sell it for about a £100-£500 profit, does anyone know any place I could sell it? I've tried eBay and Amazon to no success sadly, Many Thanks, cjsun9

Hey forum, I've got a 4670k and stepping up to a 4770k, mostly because I'm doing a lot more video editing and 3D work than I was planning to do when I originally picked the parts for the rig. Its been used for a few months now and I havn't exactly been treating it too well. I've been blasting up to 1.37V through it (now @ 1.33V) because it is a terrible overclocker and needs those kinds of voltages for anything above 4.3 GHz. My question is, how much can I ask for it? I bought it in germany for €195

The ever so small Australian Counter strike scene getting smaller and smaller. Hopefully they're able to merge with CyberGamer in order to give us a decent PUG system, because right now I'm unable to do anything in this game without my team mates. Hi, I'm looking at the Koreans 1440p monitors and I'm salivating. I'm wondering how much I could get for a used Samsung Syncmaster 244t on ebay. I find none of this model that are being sold. My gf bought it like 4-5 years ago (yes it cost a fortune back then she tells me) and it's still running great. No dead pixels and all. Thanks

Microsoft has removed the end date of the selling of Windows 7 from its website, Where previously was "October 30th 2014" there now is "to be determined". This suggests that Microsoft is considering to keep Windows 7 in the market. Microsoft has updated the page recently, since the version in Google's cache still shows the old end date. The company would originally had planned to stop selling individual licenses of Windows 7 in October this year, whereas PC's and laptops pre-installed with the operating system would still be sold until October of next year. Both dates have now been removed and according to many web shops are computers equipped with Windows 7 still in abundance. The deletion of the dated suggests that Microsoft will want to sell Windows 7 longer than initially planned. The reasoning behind all this is unclear. Tweakers has asked Microsoft for a reaction, but one hasn't been received yet. Microsoft released Windows 7 in 2009, after which Windows 8 followed just over a year later. IN the mean time, Windows 8.1 has also been released. Source: http://tweakers.net/nieuws/93060/microsoft-lijkt-toch-niet-te-stoppen-met-verkoop-windows-7.html (Be warned, it's in Dutch)

Seeing that Black Friday is coming up and i hear there will be a sale on GPUs, I was thinking it would be a good time to upgrade and sell my GPUs. Only thing is i never sold anything online (I don't even know how to safely ship GPUs) before and i would like some help. I would use the box it came in but i got a pre-built PC (The reason why i got an alienware instead of building the PC is a long story and I hate myself for it ). Also would like some suggestions on which GPU i should buy (I was thinking of something that overclocks good). Or should i hold out alittle longer for the newer cards? (sorry if this was poorly written)
