Hello! Lately I have been having problems with my 2nd display monitor to which I believe is not being detected by the GPU. I have then tried ti Flash the Bios to which I have followed a Youtube video online, all procedures seems to be relatively simple but then I had an obstacle. My Gpu is a Sapphire Pulse 4gb RX570, it shows in the gpu-z, and everywhere else, including the physical stickers on the graphics card. When I was going to flash it with the latest available files however, it stated the P/N was not compatible, I tried to download all the 5 models available for the 4gb SAPPHIRE RX 570 Cards and tried each of them but to no avail. I thinked for a second and then searched for the existing P/N and found that my GPU has the file for an RX 470 NITRO OC by Sapphire. I am very confused and need help, but then it was 3 am and I am dumb so my monke brain went with the latest 470 OC driver file and proceeded to flash my GPU with that, it let me flash the GPU however after restarting, I was able to boot into windows before green screening. I hope I am not fucked yet. I am currently using the onboard graphics to ask for help. Thank you very much. I really appreciate the input/help as I have really no means of buying a new/used graphics card. This Graphics card was also just a second-hand buy and I've used it for like 3 months. Pls send your Wisdom and Knowledge. https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/190672/sapphire-rx470-4096-161012 this is the P/N that was installed in my GPU and this is the GPU that I have https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/191558/sapphire-rx570-4096-170306

I have been searching all of the internet for this specific problem but i cant find any help. Random day in august i updated my AMD drivers since i had not done so in a while. Then my games kept crashing after 20 minutes of playing and and window would pop up saying "driver timeout" or something like that. I saw some post on some post on some website which was similar to my problem saying to change some setting in the registry, so i did that and now it does not crash anymore. But every 15-20 minutes it lags for 4-5 seconds and after this it is followed by the game freezing for 3 seconds. I have tried deleting my drivers and installing them again. Playing with only one stick of ram since i recently added one more. Installing old drivers. I have a rx 570 and an i5 9400f.

Hi! Info: PREAVIUSLY Graphics card: RX 570 RS XXX Edition 8GB GDDR5 Processor: Ryzen 3 3100, 3.6 GHz, 16 MB Motherboard: Asrock B450M Pro4 R2.0 Ram: Patriot Viper 4, DDR4, 8 GB, 3000MHz, CL16 Power supply: Thermaltake Smart RGB 500W UPGRADED Graphics card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Eagle OC 12GB GDDR6 Processor: Ryzen 7 5700X, 3.4 GHz, 32 MB Ram: Lexar Thor, DDR4, 16 GB, 3200MHz, CL16 I just upgraded my pc, (I flashed the bios to v5.30 before powering on with new components). Now to the point, I replaced my processor and gpu and everything worked fine (updated every driver). I played some games, watched the temps if there were any signs of overheating (this was my second time working on a computer) everything looked fine. After something like 4 hours after replacing the parts I noticed that in cpu-z my ram frequencies were set at some low numbers so i restarted and in the bios I changed the frequencies and "boosted" the dram voltage from 1.2(factory) to 1.3, after exiting the bios I watched some youtube and launched apex legends. Something like 5 minutes later the pc bluescreened with "Kernel Security Check Failure". So I tried to restart, then the problems began, PC went into constant boot loop without the cpu fans spinning (not even posting anything just the light on gpu turns on fans spin for smth like 15 seconds then it shutdowns and restarts), I powered it off "unplugged" the 2 ram sticks and tried them seperetly on every slot with single/dual channel (it didn't work ;p). I took out the battery from the motherboard and held down power button for 15 seconds and let it sit for around 10 minutes. After that all of the fans started working (cpu, gpu and 2 exhaust and intake fans) but the problem with boot looping persisted. Also tried unplugging the gpu and trying to get something out of the cpu only, taking everything new and putting the old components back, clearing cmos again, and taking the motherboard out of the case and sitting it on antistatic foil. None of the things I tried had worked. Im really desperate at this point, i don't have any diagonostic speaker or led. Any other ideas before i go to get it serviced? (I think that it's most likely the power supply, I'm certain its too weak but on the other hand why would it just stop working after 4 hours)

Okay so my monitor shuts down randomly when exiting game... I just wanna point out i got more than enough psu power and I tested my rx570 on another rig and it works just fine...temps are around 60c while gaming... Tried DDU, older drivers P.S. just played RDR2 for 1h on high-ultra settings and everything was fine till i pressed "quit game" which made my monitor go black and said "power saving" like when I turn off PC But the PC and GPU both still on... Any advice? My rig: I7-4790 16GB ddr3 1600mhz Saphire nitro rx570 8GB PSU 650w seasonic

Im upgrading my rig and the main focus right now is the gpu. I've had my RX 570 8GB for around 4 to 5 years now and it hasn't completely failed me but i recently decided to upgrade. Since the RTX 40 series is to high a price i'll remain on the RTX 30 series. What worries me is if i go with the RTX 3060 whcih is good and cheaper than the rtx 3070 or wait to buy and rtx 3070. My budget is a rather good amount, i can buy the RTX 3070 but it's just to high a price, Is the performance difference worth 300+ extra bucks or is the RTX 3060 good enough. I'll be mainly using this GPU to play heavily modded games with over 200+ mods installed such as Skyrim, Fallout 4, Minecraft, etc. I accept any recommendation. My specs are ASRock X570 Steel Legend, AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.80 GHz, Teamgroup 4X8 = 32 GB, Sabrent Nvme 500GB, Seagate 2TB HDD, Kinston 248GB, Kinston 480GB.

Hi guys, Need help regarding my issue which i am having from past one year. My gpu is a radeon Rx570 Msi 8gb and from the past one year it is crashing even though the temps are under control. I searched in forums and saw lot of similar issues. The problems the gpu hard crashes my system without bsod and shows random colour screen. then i have to hard reset the pc and without any load it crashes randomly. sometimes it runs stress test fine but after stress test it crashes. So I DDU the drivers fresh install of drivers, new wimdows install, lowering frequencys of both gpu and memory, no luck. It is frustrating me as i cant use my pc with gpu and have to rely on my apu. Hoping someone helps me with this problem. I recently changed the thermal paste so temps look ok. attaching some pics. My PC Specs: OS: Windows 10 Pro GPU: MSI Radeon RX 570 Armor OC 8GB CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 2200G with Radeon Vega Mainboard: Gigabyte B450M-DS3H Rev 1.0 with latest F63C bios RAM: 2x Corsair 8GB, DDR4-3000 PSU: Gigabyte PB650W

Hi everyone, first time poster here. Got a question. So I bought a Powercolor Red dragon RX 570 8GB version. The card was used for mining but not for a long time so I figured it was a good deal since it was cheap by todays prices. My issue is whenever I want to install drivers it wont install properly since I believe it has a mining bios on it. For now im using the atikmdag-patcher-bios.exe to make the gpu have working drivers and I can use it to game and so on but since the newest drivers for the GPU, that patcher does not work for me anymore. So I would like to if its possible and not too hard to flash the stock bios so I can install drivers normally and use the GPU without any issues. Below is my GPU-z attachment. It seems to use Samsung memory(I saw people mention that a lot about those) and if I could get a step by step guide on how to flash the stock bios it would be really appreciated. Hope you can understand what im asking since english is not my native language. Thank you in advance! The gpu-z screenshot is with the atikmdag patcher applied.

Hey guys and girls, I am planning to get me a brand new RTX 3060 to replace my RX 570. What I don't really understand. The 3060 has a tdp of 170Watts and one 8pin connector. The Rx 570 has a tdp of 150W and an 8pin connector. Is it safe to use? How do I know how much current my pcie slot provides? thus 8pin is rated at a maximum of 150W. Can I even upgrade to a 3060ti? I really don't wanna risk overheating my cables, connector. Thanks for the help! My specs: PSU: BeQuiet SystemPower B9 600W with one pcie cable. MB: ASRock A320m Rev 4.0 Ryzen 5 2600 GPU see above (wanna get the Gigabyte 12gig OC edition) 16 Gb 3200 DDR4 1 SSD 2 HDD 3 12V Fans 1 DVD

This is gonna sound like a dumb question, but here goes: I just got a brand new RX6600, works great, but it does not like my multi-monitor set up. I have 4 monitors and I had to unplug 2 just so it wouldn’t have a stroke. Now my old GPU, a RX570, can run all 4 monitors without causing problems. I want to know if I can plug both GPUs into my motherboard, and instead of combining them with Crossfire to work on the same workload, have the 6600 be on just the main monitor while the 570 works on the other 3. I don’t know if that’s even possible with either because it’s 2 different cards or because the 6600 doesn’t have crossfire but the 570 does. If it doesn’t work, that’s fine, but if it does, then I would like to know how to make it work.

Processor: Ryzen 5 - 3500(3.6 GHz) Board: Gigabyte AB350M-DS3H (X370) RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 MHz GPU: Radeon RX 570 (PowerColor) PSU: Antec VP550P Plus Hello, I have the setup mentioned above. For some time now, after logging in to Windows or some time thereafter, My screen goes blank and I get a "No Signal" message on the monitor. After rebooting multiple times, I am able to uninstall the Display Drivers and reinstall an older version to make things work again. But after a few days, this keeps on recurring. What is the cause of this and how could I resolve this? Any help is really welcome as I have also reinstalled windows. I don't have an option to switch to onboard display as neither my board nor my CPU has integrated graphics. Please help!! - Ashish K

Good day! I just built my first budget pc for freelancing and encountered a lot of problems. Almost are fixed though but the one that really bugs me is that I can't use a second monitor. I do office works and would always use my second square monitor for Excel or Google Sheets. It's working on the freaking thousand years old pc with GT 220 card and it supported both of the monitors. My pc has Gigabyte H610m-h motherboard, i3 12100F, rx 570 4gb, 16gb ram, and 550 psu. The problem is, when I use only one monitor (connected it to the HDMI port) it does work. Both of them will work one at a time. But when I plug another one (to another HDMI port) it shuts both of them off. The pc is still on but the monitors don't. If I try to reboot the pc, it will only read one of the monitor. I've updated the gpu drives to the latest and the windows too. I can't seem make it to work. If anyone has the same problem and fixed it, please help me. I needed another monitor to work efficiently. Thank you!

Hi, i was wanting to buy a used cheap gpu that looks good (i dont game much) for a while and i found rx570 4g that is used for mid load editing and used for 3 years from my friend. I'm actually not gaming that much and if i do i dont even go higher than mid settings not because i can't. So gpu is on the way coming to me, i wondered if there would be an issue about a gpu that is been used 3 years not opened even once. Furmark score is 60+ at 1080p 8xmsaa. Note: gpu is not used for gaming.

Budget (including currency): about 650usd Country: Philippines Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Light gaming, eSports and just excel and light editing practice. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I already have a processor which is i3 12100F that I bought for 115usd. A Gigabyte H610 H motherboard because I can't really afford to buy a MSI B660-A for now. And a sapphire rx 570 4gb which my friend sold to me for 120usd. I'm trying to build my first pc. I was hoping to ask for opinions for a good ram (have a reputable brand and relatively cheap). Same for the SSD. I was hoping for 1 m.2 and 1 SATA SSD. Hope anyone can help me.

okay, so I got this issue a few days ago. where when I was playing Valorant my display just went black. and then I had no display output out of the GPU. while my pc was still working(i could hear audio), I got no display output. waited for a few minutes hoping for it to work again, I had no luck. I ended up just holding down the power button and restarting the pc. Surprisingly here I got the display output and headed into the bios. nothing looked weird. everything showed up fine. then when I booted into windows the system felt a little choppy than usual. I went to device manager and found out my graphics card had been disabled. probably cuz it crashed. after enabling it I got this under my GPU device status seeing it was a driver issue I reinstalled AMD drivers. after that my pc was back to normal. but I tried to load up Valorant and the same thing happened again. And I resolved the issue again using the same method. Does anyone know a way to fix this? here r my specs: Intel Core i5-4690S XFX Rx 570 4gig 240 GB SSD Asus H81M-E motherboard GPU driver installed: adrenalin-2020-21.10.2 gpuz when after the crash without reinstalling drivers

Hi my rx570 phantom gaming x 8gb only uses 3.9gb constantly in games like Forza Horizon 5 or in Planet Zoo, Jurassic World Evolution. It is very frustrating because I think it is reason why my fps are crashing from around 90 (at mid settings) to 32 in repetitive intervals. Maybe someone knows the problem and a fix for this because I think its not because the gpu couldn't handle it. My specs ryzen 5 2600 ox 4.1ghz rx570 oc gpu 1450mhz vram 1950mhz msi b450 pro vdh max 16gb 3000mhz viper ram games are running on a hdd if this could be a problem

my rig : cpu core i5 4590 motherboard asus h81 plus ram 12g 1600 ddr3 gpu msi rx570 8g psu 650 gold sorry for my bad English my pc was running fine until i had to change my monitors for while and because it was old i used hdmi to vga adapter and also i had some experment with afterburner and overclocking that i suspect it may caused overheating of some components my guess is gpu failure but i like to know which part is gone bad so maybe i can repair it cause i cant buy new gpu right now i can play for hours without any issue but this problems happens:(all crashes are hard crash and black screen need to restart manually) 1- when i open map in assassin's creed unity (also happens in main main menu) or im in home in froza horizen 5 and 4 and customize gpu starts consuming more power than when playing it and starts to heating and fans ramps up and if i stay to long there its crashes (it happens in other games too) 2- when i exit games when its not underload anymore it crashes 3- when i wake my pc from sleep it crashes 4- some times after 5 min of gaming crashes and when i change power plan its doesn't crash anymore I've tried ddu and clean install drivers, clean install windows ,changing ram sticks ,changing psu, going back to old drivers, underclocking and undervloting ( its helps on number4 but not others), i dont have access to other PC to try out gpu

I have had my 8gb RX 570 for about 15 months, When i first got it for about 3 months i didnt touch any settings and it wasn't at all too loud, i started messing with fan curves at some point and all was well for a long time, but in recent months i have been running into temperature problems in a large proportion of games, i either run the fans loud enough to burst my ear drums or run my gpu hot enough to cook a full course meal on it (upwards of 85 degrees) I'm not sure whether there is a lot of dust on the heat sink, dried up thermal compound or if it is a defect. If none of those which i will likely never find out, do gpus slowly become more incapable of handling load over time?

I built this PC yesterday and everything should be working fine, except every time I run any heavy programs or games, it crashes after anywhere from start up to 1-2 hours of runtime. Kinda annoying because I'm a Uni student on Games Design and not having a PC that will run UE4 or 3DS Max is ever so slightly threatening to my course. It's an I7 11700k on an Asus Z590-P with an RX570 and 850w psu. It's probably worth also noting that the cpu is clocked at 5 GHz. It's weird, sometimes its just the game crashing, one time the whole pc crashed.

I have an issue with my graphics card where the computer boots fine and over time (a few minutes) I get these horizontal lines appearing more and more frequently and over larger areas before the computer crashes. It happens much more quickly if I boot a game. Temeratures seem reasonable (around 60C) even at time of crash. I replaced the thermal paste which had no effect. I have tried it in 2 computers (one Intel one AMD), same thing happens. The circuit board has no visible issues. This happened when the card was new (I was unable to return it for various reasons, time has expired) The card is an Asrock Phantom Rx 570. Any ideas would be appreciated, normally I would probably just buy a replacement, but 2021 happened, thanks.

So i opened up my rx 570 that doesn't work to see what is causing a problem I checked it and it looks really fine nothing has been touched so I don't know what to do from here. My main question is that adding new thermal paste might fix it or do I have to do something else
