Hello, I recently bought a new CPU fan and I installed everything correctly through a video, but when I turned on my PC, everything worked fine with the fan except for the RGB, fan is spinning and working and I plugged the RGB cable into the RGB header on the motherboard. I even tried to use the provided controller but that did not work either. I went to BIOS and turned the CPU fan to full power to see if that would fix it, but it did not. I was wondering if I could get any help with getting the RGB to work? Thank you! Specs: Intel i7-9700k - CPU ASUS Z390-A Prime Motherboard GTX 1060 3gb - GPU 16 GB DDR4 - RAM If there are any other specs you need, let me know

my trident z rgb ram was fine until i got win 11 and now after multiple reinstalls it doesnt appear. even in gskils own software it does change. if you need more info please ask. thanks in advance.

so i recently installed an msi 3060 into my system. at the same time as this i installed windows 11. as i have an asus motherboard and trident z ram i was looking for ways to have them sync up. please note before i did this my ram had stop responding to rgb changes and just does its own thing. i downloaded razor synapse and got chroma control so i could link my asus products to it. after doing this my asus products work fine with it and does what i ask it. sadly my ram still doesnt change and my msi gpu only works on the msi mystic app. i turned off the feature that makes msi force control it but razor still wouldnt change it. its at the point now where even mystic wont change the gpu much. im sure ive made some obvious mistake but if anyone has any ideas please help me fix this. if you need any more information please feel free to ask me. thanks in advance.

I have attached a video, but basically everything is connected correctly(i think) but the fans still dont light up, what could i try and rule out before deciding that they are defective? I have pulled the radiator out and double checked so no cables had fallen out, i have detached and reattached the RGB cable, checked the pump connection and the usb connection to the motherboard and switched PSU cable just to rule that out. the NZXT CAM software does detect the fans as rgb so this most likely must be a cable-issue right? For those who knows the Ship of Theseus thought experiment kinda knows what this is going on. Well, i've started my build in May of 2020 after about 5 or 6 years with laptop only. At that time my objective was to build a small but powerful system, and of course full of RGB. So, i've gone the ITX approach. At that time i've choose a AMD Ryzen 3900X, the full spec list was: - AMD Ryzen 3900X - 32GB of G.Skill TridentZ NEO RGB - Gigabyte X570 I Aorus Pro - Corsair H100i Platinum SE - 3 x Lian Li Bora 120mm fan - XFX XTR2 850W PSU - NZXT H210i case - Corsair MP400 PCI-E 4.0 - Intel 660p 2TB - Windows 10 Powerful enough and all the bling it can bring. And if you're following i've forgot to tell my graphics card, well... It was a Gigabyte RTX 2060, just because it was cheap (pre-covid) and it was poweful enough, thats because my plan is to upgrade the only part to a RTX 3000 series high end, which hasnt launched yet but it was the "final piece". How naive I was... 2021 arrived, covid arrived, and with it the RTX 3000 cards, which where unobitanium at the time and worse, basically no card fit my case hahaha. With the front radiator (only place) my max size was like 300mm which the only RTX 3080 i could fit there was the reference one. Good luck getting one at that time. So I'd had to change my strategy. Bigger case, not huge that would became weird but a little bigger. So Cooler Master NR400 it was. It had a mesh front which has way better airflow and it could fit most RTX 3080s. So, i've ended up buying a Gigabyte RTX 3080 Eagle OC along side a Cooler Master NR400 and two sticks of Corsair Vegeance RGB replacing my 32GB kit with a 64GB one. Less bling but still bling enough. The RTX 2060 i've ended up selling to a friend. I normally sell my old hardware to my friends because they aren't that into PC gaming so they have less powerful rigs and I can give them a friendship discount. Less than one month after buying the RTX 3080 the computer started reboot randomly trowing memory errors. The first problem I had with this computer. After days of troubleshoot I realized that I had the component that never dies just died in my hands. My Ryzen 3900X was the problem. After switching back and forth all the parts with my server that had a 3200G the only part that reboot both machines was the CPU. Then I've followed with an AMD RMA and although slow here at least the RMA process was top notch. Sended the CPU and they refunded me full price + inflation. Anyway, due to the fact that the price was calculated based on US dollars and I do not live in the US I just hit the jackpot, the refund was just right where our money was fluctuating a lot, normally thats a bad thing but that meant that although the refund was fair it was enough to buy me a 5950X due to inflation being all over the place. The top CPU any AM4 platform can handle. And I was just happy. After a couple months I had problem with the Corsair MP400 just dying. I think it was related to the CPU somehow but I have zero evidence of such. So I've replaced it with a Samsung 980. Also 500GB. It was slower but Samsung SSDs are reliable. And after a failure I wasn't risking. I haven't lost any data. I had backups but I had to replace the drive. I've took the opportunity to also replace the Intel 660p with a Crucial BX500 and put the 660p on my laptop, its still there today. In the middle of the year I've switched back to Arch Linux. I'm for years a Linux user but i've had switched to Windows 10 a couple years before buying this PC due to some games I was wanting to play. Anyway. I was thinking of switching back again and so I've did. Also the bling started to fade and I was more into silence at this time so i've replaced the blingy and noisy Corsair H100i with a Noctua NH-D15 and some NF-A12x15 at the front replacing the Lian Li Bora fans. Also added another 2TB drive, a Crucial MX500 (it was the same price as the BX500) totally 4TB of SATA "mass storage" and 500GB of NVMe OS storage. At this time the bling was almost lost. The only RGB thing on the system was a strip on the grapgics card and the memory sticks. Okay. I've really liked this case, it had a good airflow and the PC was nice. But it lacked something. Some games just refuse to run on Linux and my Oculus is a no go. So I've took that 3200G after upgrading my server to an i5, added every spare part I've had and built a Windows machine, the only thing i've got new was an Asus RTX 2060 Dual OC. Yes, another 2060, i like them hahaha. I've accessed this Windows machine through parsec and didn't even had a monitor plugged in it. It wasn't perfect but it was good enough to play eSports and VR. Anyway. I wasn't satisfied yet obviously. I wanted to run Windows in a VM, no more network lag. VFIO baby. Fortunately I took vacation at the end of this year, that for me is just stay at home playing games but that means some extra money. And this time I was really saving all my funds to a upgrade to my platform. I've decided that I wasn't upgrade to a new generation. I would just upgrade my computer. Anyway. I've also wanted to build a HTPC to couch play, this one running Windows and back to the small case, and this time performance wasn't that paramount, it just need to be "console size" and able to have a Playstation 5 similar performance it was okay. So i've started searching and adding some dots together. And I realized that I've already have a ITX board for a SFF HTPC and I also already need a new MB for VFIO. And a plus that I've already have two graphics cards. So the upgrades aren't that steep. I've ended up building the HTPC using my own Gigabyte board with a Galax RTX 3070 that was cheap right after the GPU crash in september. Also added a 5700X and a Noctua NH-U9S. The case was a Cooler Master N200. I've used the Corsair 750W PSU from my 3200G at first. Also the original 32GB from G.Skill that i've kept in storage. Anyway, this wasnt my main PC, just a secondary HTPC rig that i've used part of my old computer. And what about my main rig? After building this HTCP i've bought a Asus Prime X570 Pro to make a VFIO machine... Well... The NR400 is bigger but its not big enough to fit a full ATX board, also now i've build an office space and had the space for a bigger case. The temporary solution was to build in my server case (the one from the 3200G) that was a Corsair 270R. I have to leave the side panel open to avoid overheating but it was a temporary solution. I've also added the RTX 2060 as VFIO card to run on the Windows VM since that was the whole point. At this point I was 100% function over form. A couple days ago i've replaced the final original component of that build. I've bought a O11 Dynamic EVO as oficial (current) case for this build and some NF-P12 Redux. But also bought a Corsair HX1200 because the XFX 850W cannot handle both cards at full load (triggers OCP, i could only run one at a time), so finally every single component of my May 2020 system was replaced as of this month and the "final" build. The XFX ended up on the HTPC because it was modular and I could lower the number of stuffed cables. As of right now I have my system as: - AMD Ryzen 5950X - Asus Prime X570 Pro - 64GB DDR4 Corsair Vegeange RGB Pro - Noctua NH-D15 - 6 x Noctua NF-P12 Redux 1300 PWM - 3 x Noctnua NF-A12x15 PWM - Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 10G Eagle OC - Asus GeForce RTX 260 Dual OC - Samsung 980 500GB NVMe - Crucial BX500 2TB SATA - Crucial MX500 2TB SATA - Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO - Corsair HX1200 Platinum - Arch Linux Every singe part that was on this PC was replaced somewhere in time. Now the question is. Its the same PC? Or is a new PC? I hope you guys liked my build history and i don't think stops here. I already plan to buy another 64GB kit since this board has 4 slots instead of two. The PC of Theseus continue

I'm planning to buy a fan splitter so i can add or replace the daisy chained rgb molex type fans that came with my case. My question: is it safe to use this splitter hooked to a single motherboard header? I don't know the amp output of the header (msi b450 mortar max) I looked up the motherboard's website but can't find detail about the amperage. So, using 3 or 4 fans connected to a splitter that is connected to the header of the motherboard is safe? Also, if used a non-rgb fan do i need a four-pins splitter? Thank u in advance

Hey! Now you're probably going to think I'm out of this world whilst you read this but I really am desperate for this! I'm really picky with keyboards nowadays but I need the following things on the keyboard: • Hot - swappable •RGB controlled by a driver than on the keys • Under £100 • Preferably 65% • Mechanical • U.K Layout There's probably nothing out there that supports what I've just written however if you put the time and effort into this it will be very much appreciated. Many thanks!

Hey everyone, so i ordered all kinds of rgb stuff and installed them into my case.. but the problem im having is that most of it is very low brightness. G-skill TridentZ ram is very dimmed corsair and nzxt fans (except the back one i feel like) screen on my nzxt kraken z63 i have been thinking about adding another connector from my power supply.. but like i said my ram and some system fans have the same problem and they are connected to my motherboard essentially. does anyone have a possible solution? Any help is appreciated i also added a picture where u can see that the rgb cables and the back fan are a lot brighter than the rest of the stuff P.S. any software that helps me test stuff like this is also appreciated. I have my GPU in the bottom slot since in the top one i started getting artifacts. So I also have a slight feeling my motherboard is slowly dying… but no clue how to actually test that. The top pcie slot could also just be broken

I swapped my old A6 bundled with mobo and ram to a pc case with 4x 120 rgb fans, i was playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider with ultra-settings the night before the psu exploded the next morning. I told the former owner of the situation, and he went to check the pc, he found out that I'm using a 400-watt psu (Cooler Master Elite 400w) and it's likely the reason it overloaded he said. I didn't have any problem with my old case except that i need an updated case for cable management and fan placement. The 4x 120 Rgb fans are daisy chained to a single molex connector. This is my rig: R5 5600x Rx 5500XT 8Gb DDR4 ram 1 nvme drive 2x 2.5 hdd Cpu cooler 120 rgb gammaxx gte v2 My question is: Did the rgb fans cause the explosion, or the psu not having enough power cause itself to die? I just bought via online a Seasonic S12III 650w bronze plus psu I hope it performs well. I was going for the Gold plus model but my budget won't allow me.

So I’m new to pc building and I am very confused because I am trying to build a pc with 6 of corsairs sp 120s and a Corsair h150 (3 fans with the h150 and another 3 with a 4000x rgb) and the h150 comes with a corsair commander. my question is what can I do for the last rgb thing. The the commander has 6 rgb spots and I have the six fans plus the pump heads rgb.

Budget (including currency): ~600 BRL? Country: Brazil Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming, some VMs for Comp Sci projects. Current Part List: CPU: i5 12400F MOBO: ASUS TUF B660M-PLUS D4 RAM: 2x Corsair Vengeance 3600Mhz 16GB GPU: XFX QICK 6750 XT PSU: Corsair RM 750x White Storage: Kingston KC3000 1TB + alot of HDDS that should be dead by now Case: CoolerMaster Q300L White BIG GPU in a tiny case in a warm country = over 90 degrees even with aggressive fan curves. Currently I only have the stock fan on the case + stock cooler on the CPU, so I was planning to add: 3x Cooler Master Sickleflow 120 ARGB 1x DeepCool AG620 ARGB From what I understand my mobo have two ARGB headers. I want to be able to change colors on some software that doesnt suck too much. (No remote controllers that I would eventually break/lose). Do I need a RBG controller? Can I just daisy chain 3 fans + CPU fan? Or at least the 3 case fans and drop the RBG on the CPU? And I know RBG its a "waste of money" but my last setup was squeeeeezing as much perf as I could so now I want this one to look pretty. pic related

Hi everybody, im having quite a conundrum here. I justbought a 3 pack of Lian LI ST120 after modding my H710i case to have more airflow and positive pressure. They were so cheap i though why not. I want to install them on the front of the case. But the ARGB solutions are less than opimal. The set comes with a ARGB female to 3 JST male connectors. When plugged in the asus aura connector, they obviously are have all the same lighting. So i want to have independent lighting on all 3, luckily i have 3 ARGB headers on my motherboard. But i caaaaannot find the right cables. Single ARGB female to SIngle male JST 4pins wide but only 3 pins. I dont mind soldering a little but if anyone can point me to the right direction it would be very much appreciated. I have included a couple pictures so my gibberish makes more sense to all the visual people ;). I installed one for proof of concept but its not wired properly yet!

How to change the speed of the RGB of this cheap eBay headphone stand? No way I can keep it on as is, it's super distracting. Tried to open it up but can't really see anything i could change to make it better. Do I need to pull out the arduino to fix this? Honestly can't believe it shipped like this lol. https://gyazo.com/7d65337008e183f741e74e4b0801c7f3 https://gyazo.com/e1e963fd780affcd19e2f86d73047fe7

I will attach a video for more context but the title pretty much explains it. When i boot the system up from a shutdown cycle, all my LEDs turn on but when it gets woken up after being put into sleep mode, not all of the fans get lit up. The fans are operational just the LEDs are off. The next part of this post will make better sense after the video, so please watch the video for more context. The case came with a fan hub Antec DF600 and out of the 6 RGB slots, i have used 4 of them. The three up front and the one closest to the front panel for the top exhaust fans (the only ones that light up). The other 2 are daisy chained at least RGBwise. For power, i bought another fan controller and plugged it directly to the motherboard. I suspect there is an issue with the daisy chain and why there is no power being sent to the LEDs across it Help me figure this out please! thank you and warm regards kind stranger 220043701_helpmeLTT.mp4

Hello y'all! Due to a damaged DIMM slot, I'm looking at having to replace my ASUS ROG X570-I. Ideally, I'd like to just get another one, as I really like the board, but it has one glaring issue that is making it extremely difficult for me to justify the cost. The RGB. I hate RGB, can't stand it, loath it with every fiber of my being. I went out of my way to ensure every part of my build was completely devoid of it; I even went as far as to rip out the cables for the power LED. Every part of the build is blacked out except the motherboard, because every ITX X570 board I could find that had the features I needed came with RBG, so I bit the bullet and bought the board hoping I wouldn't be bothered too much by it. I was. I hate it so much. I know I can disable it in BIOS (and I have) but it turns itself back on constantly and genuinely makes me want to destroy my PC. Every time I'm trying to sleep and I glance over at the glowing rainbow glitter bomb, it fills me with an unimaginable rage that makes me worried I may end up on the next news cycle for various crimes against humanity. However, now that I need a new one, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I may end up with two of them. That means I can root around in the old one, pulling cables and crushing bulbs without worrying about damaging it. I just don't know where to start. Any advice?

As the title says, i'd like to know if the new version of icue i able to retain the rgb color settings and effects if i shutdown my computer and turn it on later ?? I am going to overhaul my asrock steel legend rig with a new graphics card, vengeance rgb ram and the h100i elite capellix water cooler which comes with a commander core hub, i've used corsair products in the past, but its going to be my first time with their rgb ecosystem

I am using 2x8GB Crucial Ballistix RGB 3200 RAM with an Asus TUF B450 motherboard and my RGB software is armoury crate. I've had this issue for a while. In a perfect world, my RAM would look like this (I changed the colors in armoury crate because my crappy phone camera couldn't see the difference between cyan and blue): working.mp4 but 4 out of every 5 times at boot, it does this instead (in slow-motion because my crappy phone camera also couldn't see the flickering otherwise): flickering.mp4 It looks like the ram sticks both get the color they're supposed to get, then flicker between that and the other stick's color. I can somewhat circumvent this in two ways: 1) Reboot until it decides to work 2) Assign a similar rgb profile where both sticks use the same animation so the flicker isn't visible none of which I like. Windows 10 is up to date. Armoury crate is up to date too and this has been going on for several versions. I don't really like the idea of reinstalling armoury crate because last time I did, everything worked even less for 2 weeks, and at this point I consider RGB to be some sort of black magic. I am not using any other RGB software, apart from Ballistix MOD which is installed on my PC (not running) but it's what allows any of this to work in the first place.

I recently bought a 2022 Zephyrus G14. I am having issues with the RGB keyboard which is not working at all. When the computer boots white lights turn on for about a second and then it turns off to the lock screen. After opening it I tried using Alt + F4 ```Aura``` keyboard which had no effect at all. Even the keyboard brightness buttons were not responsibe. Then, I did my research and added MyASUS app and Armoury Crate which did a bunch of driver update along with BIOS update. After that If I press ```Aura``` button then it is showing the different modes such as Static, Breathing, Strobing and the display brightness keys also work (I have attached its pictures). Did anyone else have this issue? I'm pretty sure it's a software thing cause if the lights were out they would not be on while booting. Let me know what you guys think?

Hello friends. I just got the Neon Digital RGB Combo Kit from Phanteks today and installed them where I wanted them. They are daisy chained and then plugged into the ARGB 5 Volt Header of my Asus B550-A Motherboard. However, when I launch Aura Sync (which they are compatible with according to the box), they are not detected so I cannot change them from the stock Rainbow RGB color? The majority of my build is Corsair, and almost everything uses Icue, the only reason I have Aura Sync is to control lighting for my Strix 3080. I also use the Aura Sync stand alone version instead of Armory Crate because AC causes issues and is filled with bloatware. I am hoping someone may have an answer as these strips do not work with Icue, and I don't want to install a 3rd RGB software lol. Thanks for your time.

I just bought a new PC as an upgrade from my previous and it works great so far apart from the constantly flashing CPU cooler with no easy way to change to a different lighting mode or shut off completely. My motherboard is an ASUS PRIME B550M-K (Ryzen AM4) micro ATX motherboard and have tried using Aura Sync to change it but the software cannot recognise the cooler. I searched online and many said to make sure it's plugged into the 4-pin fan header which it is and it still can't be recognised by the software. Just to clarify, the cooler is the standard Hyper 212 and not the black edition (if there's a difference or not I'm not entirely sure). Can anyone help with this?

I usually keep my rgb off but from last night a very faint red colored light keeps emitting from the "2" and "d" key and a little from the side bar. i checked the software and as usual there was an update i updated it too but its still there. HOW DO I FIX IT T_T is there a good alternative for armoury crate??
