Hello, I'm helping with building a computer for my friend that is looking for a high end dual-pc (one for gaming and one for streaming exclusively). Now, I went across the internet searching for answers but in the end I have some questions left. For the gaming rig, budget was up to $5000. Custom watercooling is not included in the budget, it is solely for the parts. Can we get something better in this price range? I was not too sure about the PSU, but he wanted beQuiet! since he used same brand PSU in his previous PC. For some parts we went with the Waterforce theme, I've been using AORUS my whole life and I have no doubts about their quality to be honest. PC is meant to be playing on both 4K and 1440p. Gaming Rig (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7znMvW) CPU i9 9900KS GPU RTX 2080 Ti AORUS Waterforce MOBO Z390 AORUS Waterforce RAM G.Skill 4266 MHz 16GB SSD ADATA S11 Pro M.2 1TB For the streaming PC I am still not too sure about CPU. I saw people went for i9 9900k due to it's iGPU which then they can to pass and have none to install in their computer but we wanted to use an AMD product. Now, asking purely perfomance-based (streaming only basically) is AMD Ryzen 3900X better for this task than any of the intel products? Because sure we thought about X series of Intel, but I have no experience whatsoever with these ones. Can anyone give me his opinion on this? Ideally, we could wait for Ryzen 3950X if it's worth it. Now beacuse it's Ryzen, we have to put a GPU. We could reuse his previous GPU which is 1070 Ti for that matter. Also I thought of fast m.2 for streaming PC and 32 gbs of RAM at least. TL;DR : Need a CPU for streaming PC and opinion on other parts. Thank you for reading!

0. Actual problem My family and friends and every soul I told that I wanna build a pc replied "you dont have any experience/ you haven't seen anyone build a pc/ what if parts break?" I have been watching Linus since I got internet like 3-4 years ago I have downloaded the rgb pc build guide and listen to it everytime I am doing some boring repetitive tasks (writing project, etc). Somany people have said that I can't build I am doubting that if, just if i bend the pin of cpu or it the parts dont work? I wanted to buy from MDcomputers but there t&c states 3. Goods once sold will not be taken back or exchanged. Once invoice made cannot be modified or cancelled for any reasons thereof. 4. The item is tested for physical damage at the point of sale and the company is not liable for the physical damage of item any more. It is also the duty of the buyer to immediately check at the counter physical condition of the purchased goods. All goods are consigned at buyer’s risk and the company is not responsible for any loss, damage or pilferage in transit. 5. Our responsibility ceases the moment goods leaves our warehouse. so I am a bit worried what do you guys think? 1. Budget & Location I am from India and am listening everything in INR. 2. Aim light photoshop work , illustrator, I am studying computer science engineering so whatever work my college will throw at me ( mostly codeing), also I use to play Nfsmw05 and wanna play the newly released nfs heat. 3. Monitors 2 monitor? One is a 13" lcd 1024x756 vga and a 1080p tv hdmi. One for YouTube other for above mentioned work. 4. Peripherals Want to buy Corsair k55 and Logitech g502 but for now generic keyboard and mouse will work. 5. Why are you upgrading? I dont have a pc currently and want to build one 6. What I want to build Parts list R3 3200g Asus ex a320m 16 gb 2400mhz 1tb hard drive 450w psu Antech nx200 Yes I need 16gb ram cause chrome, yes I know it has no dedicated GPU , yes I should get a ssd, I'll get it later.

Location/Budget : India , 1700-1800$ equivalent (130000 INR). Requirement : Need to handle multiple threads as I will be running / compiling code that utilizes multiple threads. Gaming , must be able to run most games on high and GPU should have sufficient horse power for some RBFN/NN and tensor flow. Monitors :2 My choice of components to fit my budget : CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3700x RAM : Corsair Vengeance 3200 Mhz CAS 16 8x2 (16GB) Motherboard : GIgabyte X-570 Auros Elite/ASUS X-570 TUF GAMING PLUS (Please help me with this dilemma) PSU : Coolermaster MWE gold 750W GPU: RTX 2070 Super(Need card suggestion) Storage : Samsung 970 Evo plus M.2 NVME 512GB , 2TB seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM I still haven't decided on the cabinet. I Have a dilemma between the ASUS X-570 TUF GAMING PLUS and the GIgabyte X-570 Auros Elite , the latter has a 4 layer pcb but with a good VRM and intel gigabit LAN , whereas the ASUS board has sufficiently good VRM but has a 6 layer PCB with Realtek LAN . Gigabyte has a track record for shitty bios so i am really in a pickle. They are priced about the same (~20,000 INR) I have no idea about which 2070 Super card I need to get as the PCB and cooling for most of the cards remain unknown to me. I didn't want to upgrade to the RTX 2080/2080 Super as they cost way too much in India.

Hello! I am looking to build a PC. This is my first time building a PC, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Budget: I would like to stay below £700 (GBP) but I am willing to go up to about £800 if the performance increase is significant. Use: I would like to stream whilst gaming. I'm not an avid gamer, so I don't really care about the highest FPS, but I would like games to run well at decent graphics. The games I would like to play aren't too intensive: Overwatch, Minecraft, Fortnite, etc. (will definitely get more games when I get the build, I'm new to PC gaming). I would also like to do some video editing on this. Probably not 4K, but it's a possibility in the future. Monitors: I'm only using one 24" 1080p monitor at the moment, but there is always the possibility that I add another one in the future. Peripherals: I already have a mouse, monitor and keyboard, but I will probably upgrade as they aren't great. Why am I upgrading?: I am currently using an old HP laptop that doesn't suit my needs: it can't game whatsoever and the video editing performance really doesn't work for me. The build I have seen on PCPartPicker looks good to me, but I would like to know if you think it would suit my needs. Once again any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot!

1. Budget & Location My budget would be around 1400-1500$ USD. 2. Aim The aim is to play demanding games, possibly video edit and possibly even stream some. I'll be playing at 1080p, 144hz, so the parts feel a little overkill, but I want to also futureproof for games coming out in the future. 3. Monitors I currently run one monitor, but would like to get a second one also sometime in the future. 4. Peripherals I'd like to hopefully buy another monitor, maybe a 144hz-240hz, maybe the 360hz monitors that'll be coming out, but I wont be using the computers money for that. 5. Why are you upgrading? I'm upgrading because I want to play current and future games at higher than 40-60FPS on the lowest settings hahah, and once again futureproof for future games. I will also be doing some light video recording/editing, maybe even livestreaming. My main question, after filling this out is that wether I should get the RTX 2070 Super, or the AMD 5700XT. There's a 100$ difference, but from what I've researched (looking at what seems to be poorly made game benchmarking videos) There is a very little FPS difference, usually them tying out on most of the games. I've been sworn to stay with Nvidia, but if I can save 100 bucks, I might aswell should. On the other end, I really like the shadow play software, and how easy it is to just start recording videos and whatnot. My build is down below, I'm also hoping to get something beefier than the Ryzen 5 3600, but any other CPU after that just spikes up the price way too much for me. Any advice? I'm open to changing any other parts aswell. Thank you! I'm not sure but did a little research myself and came up with this - CPU- AMD Ryzen 9 3900X Motherboard - MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX Note:The pc is not intended to be used for overclocking and it should handle the above 4 subjects A-OK. Thanks in advance.

Hey Guys, I've been looking at getting a new PC for a while and have asked a lot of my gaming friends on thoughts about the current pc build that I'm looking at from PC Specialist in the UK (As I'm from the UK). I'm looking for the following: I'm looking to spend around about 2k (including monitor but excluding keyboard and mouse as I already have those) Looking for a decent build (preferably with pc specialist or any other company that does good pricing in the UK) that can handle game development, gaming and music creation and VFX with the use of apps such as unreal engine, maya 3d, after effects I am also looking for something that would be able to run decent games in high graphics. I usually tend to play games such as Arma or GTA V etc. What do I currently have? I currently have the following laptop: Macbook Pro (15-inch, 2017) Processor 2.9 Ghz Intel Core i7 Memory 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3 Graphics Radeon Pro 560 4 GB intel HD Graphics 630 1436 MB I use this laptop mostly for notetaking and editing with Premiere as I am looking to enter the world of short film editing but have also stated learning Unreal Engine and have been interested in gaming and VFX for a while but have noticed that when there's big project file sizes that my mac fan starts to whirl like crazy which I'm guessing can't be a good sign. I've included bellow a picture of the specs that I intend to go for should I buy a gaming pc but am obviously open to changes that could better it and keep it under the 2k mark. I have also included the picture for the monitor separately. PC Build Case: PC Specs Power and Cooling: WIFI, OS and extras: Thanks a lot in advance for all your help guys! Tom

Hello, I wan't to build a new pc because my current one runs games like Roblox or Minecraft on 20fps if lucky and with some or lots of frame drops. My current pc has a Intel core I3 2120(2 cores 3.3GHz) with 16GB DDR3-1333 and a NVIDIA GeForce 210 1024GB. The stange thing is that linus made a video with a pc with the same amount of cores less ram but a newer Graficscard. Do I just need to upgrade my grafics card or is there something else going on?

I am confused out of my mind about which GPU to choose for my build...On one side is Sapphire's stock variant of the 5700 XT by AMD https://www.sapphiretech.com/en/consumer/21293-01-40g-radeon-rx-5700-xt-8g-gddr6And on the other side are these "OC" variants of the 2060 super by NvidiaVariant 1:-https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-RTX-2060-SUPER-VENTUS-OCVariant 2:-https://www.gigabyte.com/in/Graphics-Card/GV-N206SWF2OC-8GD-rev-10#kfI'm pretty sure the 5700 XT is overall a better card but I also heard about its bad thermals and noise problem. As I live in India, thermals are a huge problem as temperatures can reach upto over 45°C in the summers. The price of all these are more or less the same in the local and online markets.Your thoughts?

Greetings friends (i am new here), i could use some help for probably the last phase of my build for my new small silent pc, which is currently this: PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/c82Mn7 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($194.79 @ OutletPC) CPU Cooler: Scythe Kotetsu Mark II 51.17 CFM CPU Cooler (i take this from my old pc) Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 I AORUS PRO WIFI Mini ITX AM4 Motherboard ($117.00 @ Amazon) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($72.99 @ Amazon) Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 4 GB WINDFORCE Video Card (i take this from my old pcy for now too) Case: Fractal Design Define Mini C MicroATX Mid Tower Case ($91.98 @ Newegg) Power Supply: be quiet! Pure Power 11 CM 600 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply ($90.99 @ SuperBiiz) I am not quite sure on a few things: - Is there a better Mainboard in either ITX or mATX format in that price range? This one only supports 2 fans but i guess i could use a splitter cable if necessary - pcpartpicker estimates the Watt usage to only 350, how accurate is that and should i go with a less powerful Power supply like 400-500? i found this https://pcpartpicker.com/product/3Vc48d/be-quiet-straight-power-11-550w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-bn281 but don't quite get why it's more expensive with less power and same gold status. - i'll use this pc mostly for 3d work, photoshop and a little bit of rendering. Should i keep the 3600 or switch to something older to save some money and get similar capability? Thanks for helping!

Hello everyone, Im graduating from college on December and I want to treat myself to a new PC with a $900 budget that can be decent midrange and run the new COD on high. I was looking for the new AMD Ryzen 3600 since they are getting praised and maybe for the GPU I need from you to recommend because my budget gets hit hard with it there. Also I don’t mind 1080p gaming since I’m on a budget. I live in Puerto Rico, and I already have peripherals and a 60 hrtz monitor I’m looking to upgrade to 144hz

Hey guys i want your opinions on this dilemma I have! I am building a PC like next week but haven't decided on a CPU yet! I am definitely going Ryzen but I don't know which one! I was looking at the Ryzen 5 2600 but because I won't be able to utilize my PC as much after summer I was thinking of going with the cheaper Ryzen 3 2200g which goes for 75 euro here on Greece! I am planning on buying a GPU though! What do you think? Tell me better cheap options if you have!

Hi, My name is MineBloxCoderYT (No YouTube Channel, Dont look) and I am thinking about building, or upgrading, a pc to be my dream pc. my dream pc has the following things in it. 3 GHz or bigger processor 8 GB or more RAM 2 GB GPU Must have optical drive At least 500 GB HDD or SDD I prefer to build a custom pc, but i have a budget of 100 to 200 dollars, so thats kinda off the table, but I would still like to do that. I need help with two things. 1 I need to know, if i do build a custom pc, a few things, What Is the best socket type Best things to do for a tight budget What the most expensive pc part's are. going from most expensive to least expensive. 2nd thing i need to know, if i instead upgrade a pc, like a dell optiplex, what the best pc to upgrade is to build. I am again building my dream pc, with a budget of 100 - 200 dollars. I would greatly apreciate your help. Thanks -MineBloxCoderYT

So I was updating my custom built pc but then the display wouldn't apprear so I waited and then closed the pc and reopened it and it worked. I tried to update again, same thing happened, I attempted the same thing and now it still won't display. The keyboard and mouse leds aren't on so it's probably a pc issue. Thanks for the help
