Budget: 740€ (without fans) 770€ (with fans) Country: Latvia This will be my first "gaming pc" that I build myself, so I'm planning to build this pc in a span of 3 months so I just want to make sure that everything works and is worth the price. I will use this pc for games like Beamng, COD, GTAV and Forza5. I'm mostly going to use this pc only for gaming but I am considering to start streaming. I want to play games at 1080p 60fps+ at max or high settings on the latest games. I want to stick to AMD GPU's because I want to use freesync on my monitor. I would appreciate if anyone would help me get my pc and cheaper or (and) better. Thank you! Link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XqpQsL

Budget (including currency): Around $1500 or 10.500 DKK. Budget can go higher (i can wait) Country: Denmark Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Warzone 2.0, Apex Legends. Mostly AAA games. I dont really play demanding games, i just always wanted a really fast pc. Other details: I have a good 1080P monitor. Peripherals dont matter since i can buy good ones down the line. Same for the GPU, i can use integrated graphics. My goal is a future proof mid- to high-end pc for medium gaming https://dk.pcpartpicker.com/list/sLcZ3y All suggestions are appreciated

Budget: 750€ Country: Latvia I'm going to use this pc build for gaming only for games like Beam NG, COD, RDR2, War Thunder and GTAV. I'm hopping to play games at 1080p 60fps+ at max or high settings for most games. I am planning to get these parts in a span of 3 months, starting in 2023. I want to know if I can make this build any better for the price or maybe make it cheaper if it can. Thanks. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZdXgcb

I don't care about RGB stuff, just need the PC to work. The mobo on the list is the one I'm thinking about, could change it if needed. Everything else on that list, I already have.

Budget (including currency): 13000 DKK = 1748 EUR (can go +- 1000 DKK) Country: Denmark Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Will be used for mostly gaming and must be able to run basic programs like Excel, Word etc. I generally mostly play CS:GO or Minecraft, but I'm planning on exploring more graphics intensive games and would like for them to run relatively smoothly. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm going to be playing at a 2560x1440 resolution as well as 144hz refresh rate. I also have a secondary 1920x1080 monitor as well as every other essential gaming peripheral. I've been looking at sites which offer to build PCs for you (which I assume don't have good value) at around the budget and found a PC with the following specs: - Motherboard: Asus B660M-A Prime WiFi D4 - CPU: i7-12700KF - Corsair H100x 240 mm water cooling - RAM: 2 x Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR4-3600 - Storage: Western Digital Black 1 TB SN750SE NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD - Graphics card: Asus GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB TUF - PSU: Corsair TX750M 750W 80+ Gold (semi modular) which comes at a price of 13739 DKK. I've been trying different configurations on pcpartpicker, but I can't quite get the same performance for that price point no matter what I try - and I think it's because I don't know where and how to save a buck or two. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what to look for when saving on (and picking) specific components? And would anyone be willing to help out with a possible build? Cheers, everybody and merry christmas!

Budget (including currency): 2500€ approximately (around 400+- of margain) Country: Spain Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming is the top priority, then work and at last, editing smoothness would be nice to have, but not essential at all) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I already have a 2560x1440p monitor and a 1920x1080p one. Also have every essential peripheral So I want to buy a PC which: -Gets the best value for its cost. -I want the GPU to be the best for its cost, so if you have to, I will assume that budget will go above 2500. -The pc will be under the table, so keep that in mind for ventilation -I kinda look for stability rather than peak performance (But 144fps in 1440p res is more important than this) -Minecraft is my favorite game, so I would love to exploit it to its most. i KNOW this is impossible because of how the game itself is optimized, but just keep this in mind.

Budget (including currency): 3000 ish dollars with shipping Country: Maldives Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA games plus the competitive league and Apex. Work loads include GIS and creative works such as Photoshop and Premier. Statistical analysis using software such as SPSS. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): currently using a laptop (Lenovo legion y540). Noticed thermal throttles making some games unplayable. So upgrading from that. Have a monitor (Asus VG248 QG 165Hz). I'll attach a screenshot of which build I am going for. Please give some feedback which I can change the build to make it more cost efficient or overall better. Thank you

Budget (including currency): About 17500kr nok (about 1750$ usd) Country: Norway Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 1440p gaming for all types of games. Maybe streaming in the future, but its not so important. Just doing one last check before buying everything for my first build. Here's the list: https://no.pcpartpicker.com/list/LNcJXy The total price in the list is not accurate. Everything in total is 17700kr or about 1770$. It's a little overbudget, but its fine as long as it doesn't go beyond this price. Questions: Will my psu and cooler fit? Is there anything else that doesn't fit this case? Is fractal psu good? (Someone told me that fractal makes bad psu and that corsair is better, even though it puts me over budget) Should i go for 750w psu? (This will put me overbudget, but it's fine if it's worth it) In the notes in pcpartpicker it says something about 4 pin, but i don't know what it means. Is it bad? Do i need to buy extra cables for something? Is building a pc setup with this case the same as building other pc setups with mid towers. Sorry for my bad english. Edit: Is 6 cores enough or should i buy cpu with more cores? (This will also put me overbudget, but again it's fine if it's worth it) Does this motherboard have bluetooth?

Budget (including currency): 32 000 Rand Country: South Africa Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly online FPS games plus more graphic intensive games every now and then, programming, occasional video editing, 3d modelling for engineering purposes Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm trying to put together my first PC build, starting off with a second hand rtx 3090 (R15 000). The goal is to go as cheap as possible without bottlenecking the 3090. Deciding between an Intel or Ryzen build. I probably won't be needing to upgrade for the next 3-5 years. Starting from scratch. Option 1: Intel CPU: i5 13600 = R6500 Motherboard: Gigabyte Z690M AORUS ELITE AX DDR4 LGA1700 Micro-ATX = R4000 Total cost of this combo = R10500 Notes: - DDR4 - PCIe 5 slot for GPU, and only PCIe3 for SSD - Audio apparently not great? (optical input) Next upgrade after 3-5 years would probably be a new motherboard, RAM, and SSD, for DDR5 and PCIe 4 or 5. CPU might also not be compatible anymore due to 2 year cycle?? Option 2: Ryzen CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X = R5400 Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B650M-Plus WiFi AM5 Micro-ATX = R4500 Total cost of this combo = R9900 Notes: - DDR5 - 3 x PCIe 4 x 16 slots (1 will probably be covered by the GPU) - AM5 platform support for future CPU upgrade - Audio is better? (no optical input) Next upgrade after 3-5 years would probably be only a new CPU and RAM. Motherboard and SSD should still be ok. Other: - Memory: 1Tb SSD - PCIe 3 or 4, depending on the motherboard. - RAM: 2x16Gb 3200 Cl16 MHz Corsair (could upgrade if going with the Ryzen build) - CPU Cooler: DeepCool R-AK500 -> is this good enough for the 13600?? - PSU: Antec HGC-750 Gold - Case: Free ATX case for now, hoping to get a mATX in the future Any tips on this build? Thanks!

My Asus Prime Z370-A (installed in a Meshify 2 Compact) is slightly crooked and this can be seen in these photos: the usb ports are all used and I do not have major problems with them, some seem to slightly scrape at the connectors but nothing major, and the motherboard doesn’t seem touch the case in any part of the case.

Hello All, I recently built a gaming PC and I am having issues when gaming where it randomly gives me a backscreen and freezes. The black screen only occurs when playing intense games such as MW2 or Doom Eternal. It plays fine until sometimes a few mins in and sometimes 30 mins in where the screen just goes black and the PC is Non-Responsive. I usually hit the restart button and I am unable to play without further issues for another day. Almost seems like it only happens once per restart. I've turned off all overclocking, XMP Disabled system running at default. BSOD - GPU - Windows 11 all have all available drivers and updates installed. CPU is operating within temps under load. I've stress tested the CPU and GPU with no fails. I've tried changing the power plan settings so there are no restrictions. Under Event Viewer I see the following errors quite a lot not sure if its the contributing factor: > Autopilot.dll WIL error was reported. HRESULT: 0x80070491 File: onecoreuap\admin\moderndeployment\autopilot\dll\dllmain.cpp, line 128 Message: NULL > Dump file creation failed due to error during dump creation. I've tried everything that I can think of but unable to fix this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Budget (including currency): $115 Country: US Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I already have rtx 3060 https://pcpartpicker.com/user/DannyV./saved/ZLXn6h ok so this is my build i already bought the case, ram, power supply, and m.2. I'm going with a ryzen build because the stock cpu fan is decent enough for me to not spend extra money on a different cooling fan. I dont play any harcore games. OK so the problem is should I buy the motherboard in the link above or should i settle for a less as good mother board for a cheaper price. If I do what do I lose in the process for a cheaper mother board?

I have an itch to talk about this. It seems there was more variety of PC case designs in that certain era I mentions, and nowadays you are getting the same, boring thing, same dimensions, and no changes. Would an old Alienware case from the 2010's be more favorable by price and quality than a new one? I would think so, but would anyone else have a clue? Basically, would older, high-end cases be better for building a new PC? My examples: https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.engadget.com%2F2016-08-16-hp-omen-2016-revamp.html&psig=AOvVaw2J1HhuRZf0uO5RO2nsn0xB&ust=1667927503031000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAkQjhxqFwoTCND9r6PInPsCFQAAAAAdAAAAABAE https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.pcmag.com%2Freviews%2Fcyberpower-trinity-xtreme&psig=AOvVaw1IM8v-q3ZpbMOZnPpRcuPx&ust=1667927528942000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAkQjRxqFwoTCJje3rDInPsCFQAAAAAdAAAAABAD https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwhatifgaming.com%2Fmost-unique-pc-cases%2F&psig=AOvVaw2JL_iJ2kpn6EbtjSsHLQ_K&ust=1667927575197000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=2ahUKEwjHq6jGyJz7AhXUghUDHTdMBUQQr4kDegQIARBO

Budget (including currency): about 1600-1700€ maybe more if needed, but not too much Country: France, but can buy from Germany (amazon or specific sellers). Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming. May vary between requirements. It could go from Control, cyberpunk, but also lower requirement games like Warframe or older games. No competitive or only for fun with friends. Also specific usage : GPU-PV vm share Other details : I've already made a part list https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/ywqpJM (May vary with black friday "month" and true black friday offers), I won't buy everything at once and will wait for discounts if there will be any. And the parts will be picked between the cheapest between France and Germany (not all sellers can deliver in France). I already have peripherals, and my display is a 1440p 165hz. I won't be playing over 165fps to reduce power usage. I would have preferred the AK620 as a cooler, however it is no longer on discount. If it is discounted again close to the thermalright I'll chose it. I already have a 1tb nvme so no need for more storage. I am trying to get a silent build while low usage or idle. So the current 6900 xt is placeholder for pricing. I plan to keep the build for a long time, even more for the cpu, so no upgrade path on the same socket. Hi, Now for the issue on deciding which cpu : for the VM, I could give him something like 4 or 6 threads with 25% or more gpu share (depending on the current game). Would it be better to go for the 5800x3D at 374€ ? it has more gaming performance, maybe it could help game performance with the shared cpu cores in the vm. However the 5800x is only 274€ so about 100€ less (37% difference). The performance of the 5800x in some games can have a big difference, but in other it has less, or none. Other cpus aren't a choice due to pricing (cpu and motherboards), or too few cores maybe. What would you advise for this usage ? is it worth the cost to pay more for the 5800x3D ? Also any advice for other components ? (edit: 274€ instead of 260€ 5800x)
