Hello I've just built a new pc with an ASUS PRIME B250M-A motherboard and two 4Gb sticks of ADATA XPG Z1 DDR4 RAM. At first the bios said the PC only had 4Gbs of RAM. I swapped the sticks of around and the PC wouldn't start and the motherboard beeped the RAM not detected pattern. I swapped them back but now the PC can't detect the RAM in this order either. I've tried the RAM in every slot and still the RAM not detect beep! Is the RAM broken or the motherboard? Or do I need to update the BIOS or something?

HI I've recently built a new pc: EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Seasonic 430ST 430W ADATA SU800 128GB SSD ADATA XPG Z1 8GB RAM ASUS PRIME B250M-A Motherboard Intel Pentium G4560 3.5Ghz Processor However the pc would beep when switched on. I looked up the code and this was because the ram wasn't detected. I double checked that the RAM was supported by the motherboard and then ordered a replacement. Well, the replacement RAM has just arrived and I have the same problem. So my question is what now? How do I diagnose the problem? I'm assuming it's the motherboard now. But could it be the processor? If so how do I check? I've spent a lot of money on this PC and I'm starting to get a little concerned. So I'd be very grateful for any help! Thanks

Hey LTT Forums!! i've recently been encountered a problem where the in built microphone from my Razer Kraken Pro (V1) was not being detected by my laptop which is a Lenovo Z50-70 before this I've used the headphones numerous times and encountered this problem once but got through it (I don't remember how) when I plug my headphones into the 3.5mm jack (only one) it has playback from the headphones but my mic doesn't get detected I went into audio devices and the only thing that's there under recording devices is Contextant Smartaudio HD which is my onboard sound controller when I test it. audio gets picked up from the mic on the laptop I tried uninstalling the contestant drivers and reinstalling it but no avail one forum said to rollback drivers but the option was not available I updated Razer synapse too and reset the voice settings for discord pls help! Thanks!

So I recently bought parts to build my very first rig! Everything was going great, the build process took a little longer than I wanted it too but, hey...I managed to get everything mounted, and wired in the case. So I boot up, temps are normal, then I go to install all of the necessary drivers and programs one needs to get started gaming. And I go to download the GeForce experience app and it said, something along the lines of “no graphics card is installed”. So it wouldn’t let me download the app. The GPU also does not appear in the bios.? Please help! build specs -asus rog z390-e gaming -intel core i7 9700k unlocked -16gb ddr4 3000 mghz Corsair vengeance -500gb ssd by Samsung -2tb hdd by seagate -kraken x52 cpu cooler -evga bronze 750 psu (semi modular) -MSI trio RTX 2080 -nzxt h500 mid tower The GPU powers on, but isn’t detected anywhere in the bios or device manager PLEASE HELP I WANT TO GAME 9DBF803F-3F65-4A35-83D6-A6CB73B35FB8.MP4

I recently downgraded my Windows 10 to Windows 10 1703, due to the fact that I recently added a WiFi card because the Ethernet wall adapted I had broke down and I didn't want a cable to stretch across my desk. It was also like $130. So I got an Asus PCE-AC56 WiFi Card. It wasn't working until I downgraded. But once I downgraded, 2 out of my 3 drives weren't being detected. I checked out the BIOS, there they were. I checked Device Manager, there they were. I also checked Drive Management, but they weren't there. I watched many YouTube videos on how to fix it. I also been on dozens of websites, claiming to know they fixed the problem, but to no effect did it work. Maybe because they weren't the exact same problems? I do not know.Specs:CPU: Ryzen 1700Mobo: B350 PC MATE MSIRAM: 16gb Dual Channel Trident Z DDR4 2666Graphics: GTX 1070ti mini ZotacDrives: ADATA 240GB SSD SU700 (Windows 10 installed) Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD (not detected in Drive Management) Seagate Barracuda 4TB 7200RPM Hard Drive (not detected in Drive Management) If anyone knows how to deal with this, it would be very appreciated if you could help.Thank you.

Si I'm trying to run a two monitor setup, but Windows can't detect the second monitor. Whichever monitor is displaying the pc, the other cannot be detected through the settings. I've tried updating drivers (through device manager and AMD Radeon settings), rolling back drivers, different cables. I have two rx 570s running in crossfire, so I disabled crossfire and the second monitor still wouldn't be detected, I removed the second 570 and the second is still not being detected. I have no idea what to do. I still have a gtx 1050 ti sitting in a box I may try using DDU and putting that in to diagnose, but I rather not swap out my rx 570s with a gtx 1050 ti. Hi, I have tried everything I can think of to get this working. It's a bit of a long winded situation that I will try and explain and I really hope someone can help. Before we get in to it, I am aware that the gigabyte software is SH@# but we have no other software to use to control the mobo lighting. My System Deets: Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic XL Corsair RM850i 850W 80 Plus Gold Certified Fully Modular Desktop Power Supply Gigabyte X570 AORUS MASTER AMD AM4 Rev 1.0 AMD Ryzen 9 3900X G.Skill F4-3600C16D-32GTZRC Trident Z RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3600MHz CL16 Samsung MZ-V7S1T0B 970 EVO Plus 1TB NVMe M.2 2280 Western Digital WD4003FFBX Pro Red 4TB SATA Galax GeForce RTX 2080 Ti HOF 28IULBUCV6HF 11GB GDDR6 NZXT RL-KRX72-01 Kraken X72 360mm All-In-One Closed Loop CPU Cooler 7X Corsair CO-9050041-WW ML120 Pro 120mm Fans Corsair CL-9011110 Commander Pro All-In-One Controller Windows 10 Professional 64Bit 1909 (OS Build 18363.592) BIOS Version is latest F11 (Release date: 2019-12-09) Nothing has been OC'd as yet So, yesterday I noticed that everytime I tried opening the RGB Fusion app, it would say "Please Wait..." and then just exit. the same would happen with the Trident Z lighting control Software. So I started the whole troubleshooting saga and eventually Completely uninstalled ALL Gigabyte software and G.Skill Trident Z Lighting Control Software. I used CCleaner to remove any remnants of files and cleaned up the registry as well. I also manually scanned my entire drive for an anything related to RGB Fusion and G.Skill I then reinstalled the RGB Fusion software and I was surprised to see it work. However, NOW I can only control my mobo RGB and not the RAM. The RAM is now stuck on RAINBOW. So I figured, well I don't care, I will anyway control the RAM using the Triden Z Lighting Control software but when I started the G.Skill app, it also opened now but shows NO RAM sticks to manage. So then I realise that the RAM is now not being detected. And so I start becoming concerned that maybe CCleaner has borked my drivers or OS or something but then I realised that this all started BEFORE I touched CCleaner so..... I shut the machine down, removed and reseated the RAM sticks and tried again....NOTHING Then I shut the machine down, cleared the CMOS and reset the BIOS settings and tried again....NOTHING I then ran sfc /scannow from the command line as administrator....NOTHING I then ran DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth from the command line as adminstrator....NOTHING I tried REINSTALLING the Chipset drivers and reboot....NOTHING Then I look over to the LED display on my Galax 2080 ti HOF and notice that the display info is not showing. So... I check if the Xtreme Tuner software is running and it is. So I open up the app and exit it and restart it and the LED display STILL shows NOTHING. So now I am at a loss...I don't know where to from here.... Has anyone got ANY suggestions for me?? I would really appreciate someones help here.

Hey guys, I had a USB drive with Windows on it and my installation crashed because of my cpu problem or whatever it is. Since then I can't boot Windows from it again and I can't format it with right-click because the volume is 0kB now instead of 8GB. Can anyone tell me how to format it again? Thanks in advance!!

Hi! I have an XFX RX 470D Graphics Card - I'm pretty much sure that this came from a mining rig - that I bought on the used market. It was all working fine but one night I shut my computer down properly and everything is normal, then come by morning when I powered it on I got a 5 BIOS Beeps in which upon searching is the "Video Card not detected" by Asrock. I can't use my onboard graphics since I have an Intel Xeon as my processor. I tried to clean everything and did apply a new thermal paste but still error occurred of not being detected. I hope someone could help me out. Thanks in advance!

hi guys i having this weird issue where my DVD drive will just randomly not detected by bios.Yesterday is was working fine but after i just unplug the fan 4 pin plug to clean my fan it not detected. I tried update bios version, using cmos to reset, changing my sata cable with other device i have. Weirdly enough when i decided to plug back the sata cable that i though it failed works again. Then just yesterday it cant be detected again. So is it the sata port itself or the cable i really dont know how to answer that. I tried connect to my other sata port same issue i doubt both of my sata port will fail at the same time right ? my dvd works fine can open close normally just cannot be detected on my computer Anyone who know can tell me which is the root cause ? i was hoping is not the traces in the motherboard that crack causing this issue thx i also notice when i plug the suspended cable my computer will hang at the post screen for about 10 sec or so then it boot to window .When i remove it , it will boot normally (about 3 sec)

nvidia NVIDIA Driver Update And Now My GPU Is Not Detected
Nano_lul posted a topic in Graphics Cards
So everything was working fine until I tried to update my drivers through the GeForce Experience Application. My GPU is no longer detected by anything. I cannot download a previous driver which WAS working. I have done a clean uninstall with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller). I honestly don't know what to do anymore I am stuck and don't know wtf to do. My GPU GEFORCE GTX 1080 Ti FOUNDERS EDITION I have tried: Safe booting, uninstalling all drivers through DDU, restarting and trying to install a previous driver which was working, came up with INSTALLATION FAILED even if I had clean installation selected. -

So I got a GTX 1060 to encode video for streaming while the 1080 runs the game. Simple enough. I got a 960 to run in this thing a while ago. Just one problem. My motherboard is refusing to detect the 1060 in its current PCI slot. Specs: Asus ROG Strix Z270H Motherboard Intel i7-7700K (not overclocked) 16 GB DDR4 RAM Asus Strix GTX 1080 8GB VRAM (pci-ex16/8_1) Gigabyte Windforce GTX 1080 3GB VRAM (pci-ex8_2) I have tested the card in the main PCI slot and it works fine, but when I try to run both of them, it refuses to detect it. This is frustrating. I havent tested to see if the PCI slot is the issue yet, but Im about to. If it is... Im going to be very sad. EDIT: Just moved some things around. Neither the 1080 or the 1060 are detected on port PCI-EX8_2 but are getting power when plugged in. Im hoping this is just a software issue with the BIOS or some setting I havent found.

Hello LTT community, So I just stumbled upon a problem with my 1-year-old Logitech G900. While I was working, the mouse suddenly disconnected and wouldn't reconnect until I plugged in the wireless receiver (which I normally keep in my laptop for ease of use since I'm switching my mouse between desktop PC and laptop). I also tried other USB cables, nothing. The mouse does charge, but it doesn't connect through the cable anymore. Any idea why and how to fix it? Thanks, Peka

My sister's micro SD card was not detected by her galaxy phone. When i popped it in to my windows desktop for troubleshooting, it did not show up under "devices and drives" in file explorer. Under devices and printers, It is labelled as "USB FLASH DISK" : When I take the card in, then out again quickly, for a split second, I am able to click on it. What came up: Under Disk Management, it is detected, but I can't really do anything with it: Screenshots of properties: Is this a driver problem? What can I do to fix it? Can I pull the files off of it?

Hey! So I got my SSD to boot up after I clone my HDD to it. Booted up normally and looks fine, but when I go to my file explorer I can't find my HDD, same with Disk Management. I only see my SSD. When I go to the BIOS, I can see it on the boot priority menu. So, I decided to boot from my HDD and it works fine, no missing files and no damages. So, what happened when I boot from SSD? Anyone can help? EDIT! THANKS FOR ANYONE WHO HELPED ME DURING THIS PROCESS OF MIGRATING MY HDD TO SSD! FINALLY GOT THE THING TO WORK NOW, I JUST NEEDED TO PLUG THE SATA CABLE TO THE OTHER PORT AND GOT IT WORKING. HOPEFULLY THERE'S NO MORE FUTHER PROBLEMS! THANKS YOU GUYS!
